- the present invention relates to a base station, a terminal, a transmission method, and a reception method.
- LTE 3rd Generation Partnership Project Project Radio Access Network Long Term Evolution
- OFDMA Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access
- SC-FDMA uplink communication method
- Single Carrier Frequency Division Multiple Access is employed (for example, see Non-Patent Documents 1, 2, and 3).
- a radio communication base station apparatus uses a radio communication terminal apparatus (hereinafter referred to as “subframe”) for each time unit called a subframe. Communication is performed by assigning to “terminal”. Also, the base station transmits downlink control information (L1 / L2 control information) for notifying the resource allocation result for downlink data and uplink data to the terminal. This downlink control information is transmitted to the terminal using a downlink control channel such as PDCCH (Physical Downlink Control Channel).
- PDCCH Physical Downlink Control Channel
- the base station determines the resource amount (that may be referred to as “PDCCH region” hereinafter) used for PDCCH transmission (that is, the OFDM symbol used as the PDCCH region). Number) in units of subframes.
- This control is performed when a CFI (Control Format Indicator) transmitted in PCFICH (Physical Control Format Indicator Channel) is notified from the base station to the terminal.
- CFI indicates how many symbols are used as the PDCCH region starting from the first OFDM symbol of the subframe. That is, CFI represents the scale of the PDCCH region.
- the terminal receives PCFICH and receives PDCCH according to the detected CFI value.
- each PDCCH occupies a resource composed of one or a plurality of continuous CCEs (Control Channel Element).
- the number of CCEs occupied by the PDCCH (the number of CCE connections: CCE aggregation level) is selected from 1, 2, 4, 8 depending on the number of downlink control information bits or the channel state of the terminal Is done. Note that LTE supports a frequency band having a maximum width of 20 MHz as a system bandwidth.
- the allocation control information transmitted from the base station is called DCI (Downlink Control Information).
- DCI Downlink Control Information
- a base station assigns a plurality of terminals to one subframe, it transmits a plurality of DCIs simultaneously.
- the base station transmits the CRC bit masked (or scrambled) with the terminal ID of the transmission destination in the DCI in order to identify the transmission destination terminal of each DCI.
- the terminal performs blind decoding on the PDCCH by demasking (or descrambling) the CRC bits with the terminal ID of the terminal in a plurality of DCIs that are likely to be addressed to the terminal. Is detected.
- DCI includes information on resources (resource allocation information) allocated to the terminal by the base station, MCS (Modulation and channel Coding Scheme), and the like.
- DCI has a plurality of formats for uplink, downlink MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) transmission, downlink non-contiguous band allocation, and the like.
- the terminal needs to receive both downlink allocation control information having a plurality of formats (allocation control information regarding the downlink) and uplink allocation control information having one format (allocation control information regarding the uplink).
- a plurality of sizes of formats are defined by the transmission antenna control method and resource allocation method of the base station.
- a downlink allocation control information format (hereinafter simply referred to as “downlink allocation control information”) for performing bandwidth allocation (hereinafter referred to as “continuous bandwidth allocation”) for allocating consecutive RBs, and continuous band allocation
- the uplink allocation control information format (hereinafter simply referred to as “uplink allocation control information”) has the same size.
- These formats (DCI format) include type information (for example, 1-bit flag) indicating the type of allocation control information (downlink allocation control information or uplink allocation control information).
- the terminal confirms the type information included in the allocation control information, thereby performing downlink allocation control.
- Information or uplink allocation control information can be specified.
- DCI format 0 (hereinafter referred to as DCI 0)
- DCI format 1A (hereinafter referred to as DCI 1A)
- DCI 0 and DCI 1A have the same size and can be distinguished by type information. Therefore, in the following description, DCI 0 and DCI 1A are collectively referred to as DCI 0 / 1A.
- DCI format 1 (hereinafter referred to as DCI 1) and spatial multiplexing MIMO transmission for performing bandwidth allocation (hereinafter referred to as “non-contiguous bandwidth allocation”) for assigning non-consecutive numbers of RBs in the downlink.
- DCI format 2 and 2A to be allocated (hereinafter referred to as DCI 2 and 2A), downlink allocation control information format to which beam forming transmission is allocated (“beam forming allocation downlink format”: DCI format 1B), and downlink allocation control information to which multi-user MIMO transmission is allocated Format (“multiuser MIMO allocation downlink format”: DCI format 1D).
- DCI 1, 2, 2A, 1B, and 1D are formats used depending on the downlink transmission mode (non-contiguous band allocation, spatial multiplexing MIMO transmission, beamforming transmission, multiuser MIMO transmission) of the terminal. This is a format set for each terminal.
- DCI 0 / 1A is a format that can be used for terminals in any transmission mode without depending on the transmission mode, that is, a format commonly used for all terminals. When DCI 0 / 1A is used, 1 antenna transmission or transmission diversity is used as the default transmission mode.
- DCI format 0A for performing non-contiguous band allocation and DCI format 0B for allocating spatial multiplexing MIMO transmission are being studied. These are all formats set for each terminal.
- CCE regions (hereinafter referred to as “Search Space”) that can be subjected to blind decoding by each terminal are limited.
- the unit of the CCE region allocated to each terminal (that is, corresponding to the unit for blind decoding) is called “downlink control information allocation region candidate (DCI allocation region candidate)” or “decoding target unit region candidate”.
- the search space is set randomly for each terminal.
- the number of CCEs constituting this search space is defined for each number of PCECH CCE connections.
- the number of CCEs constituting the search space is 6, 12, 8, and 16 corresponding to the PDCCH CCE concatenation numbers 1, 2, 4, and 8, respectively.
- each terminal only needs to perform blind decoding only on the decoding target unit region candidate group in the search space assigned to the terminal, and thus the number of times of blind decoding can be reduced.
- the search space of each terminal is set using the terminal ID of each terminal and a hash function that is a function for performing randomization.
- This terminal-specific CCE region is called an individual region (UE-specific search-Space: UE-SS).
- control information for data allocation common to terminals for example, allocation information related to downlink broadcast signals and allocation information related to signals for paging
- PDCCH allocation information related to downlink broadcast signals and allocation information related to signals for paging
- PDCCH control information for a common channel
- a CCE region hereinafter referred to as a common region (Common-Search-Space: C-SS)
- C-SS Common-Search-Space
- the terminal has a DCI format (DCI 0 / 1A) commonly used for all terminals and a DCI format (one from DCI 1, 2, 2A) depending on the transmission mode.
- Blind decoding is performed for each of the two types of DCI formats.
- the terminal performs the above-described 16 blind decodings in the UE-SS for two types of DCI formats. Which two sizes of DCI formats are to be blind-decoded depends on the transmission mode notified from the base station.
- the terminal performs the above-described 6 blind decodings for each of DCI format 1C (hereinafter referred to as DCI 1C) and DCI 1A, which are common channel allocation formats, regardless of the notified transmission mode (ie, Total 12 blind decodings). Therefore, the terminal performs blind decoding a total of 44 times per subframe.
- DCI 1C DCI format 1C
- DCI 1A DCI format 1A
- the terminal performs blind decoding a total of 44 times per subframe.
- DCI 1A used for common channel assignment and DCI 0 / 1A used for terminal-specific data assignment have the same size, and are distinguished from each other by terminal ID. Therefore, the base station can also transmit DCI 0 / 1A that performs terminal-specific data allocation by C-SS without increasing the number of times of terminal blind decoding.

- the LTE-A system is required to accommodate not only LTE-A terminals but also terminals (hereinafter referred to as LTE terminals) corresponding to the LTE system.
- R-PDCCH downlink control channel
- FIG. 2 shows an example of the R-PDCCH region. (1) The mapping start position in the time axis direction of R-PDCCH is fixed to the fourth OFDM symbol from the beginning of one subframe.

That is, in order for the terminals under the femto / pico base station to receive the DCI with a sufficiently low error rate, the macro base station transmits the DCI with the transmission power lowered at a specific RB, while the femto / pico base station The DCI is transmitted to the terminal under the specific RB.
- the terminal connected to the femto / pico base station can receive DCI with an RB with low interference from the macro base station, and thus can receive DCI with a good error rate.

- the base station 100 includes a setting unit 101, a control unit 102, a search space setting unit 103, a PDCCH generation unit 104, encoding / modulation units 105, 106, and 107, an allocation unit 108, and a PCFICH.
- the setting unit 101 sets the transmission mode of each of the uplink and downlink of the terminal 200.
- the transmission mode is set for each terminal 200 to be set.
- Setting information related to the transmission mode is sent to control section 102, search space setting section 103, PDCCH generation section 104, and encoding / modulation section 106.
- the setting unit 101 includes a transmission mode setting unit 132.

- the setting information related to the transmission mode is notified to each terminal 200 via the encoding / modulation section 106 as higher layer control information (referred to as RRC control information or RRC signaling).
- the transmission area setting unit 131 sets a resource area used for DCI transmission for the terminal 200.
- the resource area candidates to be set include a PDCCH area and an R-PDCCH area. That is, transmission region setting section 131 sets in terminal 200 whether or not to include the R-PDCCH region in addition to the PDCCH region as a region (transmission region) for sending DCI.
- transmission region setting section 131 sets a resource region to be used for DCI transmission for terminal 200 based on a value indicated by PDCCH region scale information received from control unit 102 (that is, PDCCH region scale value). . That is, transmission region setting section 131 sets whether terminal 200 performs blind decoding only on the PDCCH region or whether both the PDCCH region and R-PDCCH region (or only the R-PDCCH region) are subjected to blind decoding. Specifically, when the PDCCH region scale value is less than a predetermined threshold, transmission region setting section 131 determines that it is normal, and sets the PDCCH region for terminal 200, while the PDCCH region scale value is a predetermined value.
- the threshold is equal to or greater than the threshold, it is determined that there is a concern that the PDCCH region may become tight because the number of terminals 200 communicating with the base station 100 is large, and both the PDCCH region and the R-PDCCH region for the terminal 200 ( Or, only the R-PDCCH region) is set.
- the predetermined threshold is the maximum value of the PDCCH region scale value, and corresponds to 3 OFDM symbols if LTE.
- Transmission region setting section 131 sets a target RB group to be used as an R-PDCCH region used for DCI transmission within the entire RB group. This use target RB group is a blind decoding target RB region when DCI is transmitted in the R-PDCCH region for terminal 200.
- the control unit 102 generates allocation control information according to the setting information received from the setting unit 101.

- PUSCH Physical-Uplink-Shared-Channel
- PDSCH Physical Downlink Shared Channel
- control unit 102 assigns allocation control information (either DCI 0A or 0B) according to the uplink transmission mode of terminal 200, according to the downlink transmission mode.
- allocation control information (DCI 1, 1B, 1D, 2, 2A) or allocation control information common to all terminals (DCI 0 / 1A) is generated for each terminal 200.
- control unit 102 allocates control information (DCI 1) according to the transmission mode of each terminal 200 so that data transmission can be performed in the transmission mode set for each terminal 200 in order to improve throughput. , 1B, 1D, 2, 2A, 0A, or 0B). Thereby, since data transmission can be performed in the transmission mode set in each terminal 200, the throughput can be improved.
- DCI 1 control information
- control unit 102 generates allocation control information in a format (DCI 0 / 1A) common to all terminals, and transmits data using a robust default transmission mode. As a result, more robust data transmission is possible even when the propagation environment changes suddenly.
- the control unit 102 when transmitting higher layer control information (RRC signaling) for notifying a change of the transmission mode when the channel condition deteriorates, assigns allocation control information (DCI 0 / 1A common to all terminals). ) And transmit information using the default transmission mode.
- the number of information bits of DCI 0 / 1A common to all terminals is smaller than the number of information bits of DCI 1, 2, 2A, 0A, 0B depending on the transmission mode. For this reason, when the same CCE number is set, DCI 0 / 1A can transmit at a lower coding rate than DCI 1, 2, 2A, 0A, 0B. Therefore, when the channel condition deteriorates, the control unit 102 can use DCI 0 / 1A to receive allocation control information (and data) with a good error rate even in a terminal with a poor channel condition. .
- control unit 102 allocates common channel allocation control information (for example, DCI 1C) for data allocation common to a plurality of terminals such as broadcast information and paging information. , 1A).
- common channel allocation control information for example, DCI 1C
- control unit 102 outputs MCS information and NDI out of the generated allocation control information for terminal-specific data allocation to the PDCCH generation unit 104, and outputs uplink resource allocation information to the PDCCH generation unit 104 and extraction unit 118. Then, the downlink resource allocation information is output to PDCCH generation section 104 and multiplexing section 110. In addition, the control unit 102 outputs the generated common channel allocation control information to the PDCCH generation unit 104.
- the control unit 102 determines the size of the PDCCH region (that is, the PDCCH region scale value) according to the number of allocation target terminals (including both LTE terminals and LTE-A terminals).
- the PDCCH region scale value is determined based on the number of DCIs to be transmitted in the same subframe and the required resource amount.
- the determined PDCCH region scale value is output to transmission region setting section 131, PDCCH generation section 104, and PCFICH generation section 109.
- the PCFICH generation unit 109 generates a PCFICH signal based on the PDCCH region scale value received from the control unit 102.

- two DCI allocation region candidates that is, CCE 16 to 23, CCE 24 to 31
- a total of 16 DCI allocation area candidates are set as UE-SS.
- the search space setting unit 103 performs a search having the plurality of DCI allocation region candidates described above in the PDCCH region and the R-PDCCH region. Set the space (C-SS and UE-SS).
- search space setting section 103 sets a search space in the R-PDCCH region only when the PDCCH region scale value is greater than or equal to a predetermined threshold value.
- the search space setting unit 103 outputs search space information indicating the set C-SS and UE-SS of each terminal to the allocation unit 108 and the encoding / modulation unit 106.

DCI including information) or DCI including common channel allocation control information (that is, broadcast information common to terminals, paging information, and the like). Further, the PDCCH generation unit 104 adds CRC bits to uplink allocation control information and downlink allocation control information generated for each terminal, and further masks (or scrambles) the CRC bits with a terminal ID. Then, PDCCH generation section 104 outputs the masked PDCCH signal to encoding / modulation section 105.
- Encoding / modulating section 105 modulates the DCI received from PDCCH generating section 104 after channel coding, and outputs the modulated signal to allocating section 108.
- the encoding / modulation section 105 sets the coding rate based on channel quality information (CQI: Channel Quality ⁇ Indicator) information reported from each terminal so that each terminal can obtain sufficient reception quality.
- CQI Channel Quality ⁇ Indicator
- the coding / modulation section 105 sets a lower coding rate as the terminal is located near the cell boundary (that is, as the terminal has poor channel quality).

- the R-CCE is a resource unit constituting the R-PDCCH.
- the allocation unit 108 assigns the allocation target terminal to the allocation target terminal.
- a CCE in the UE-SS configured for the DCI is assigned.
- the allocation unit 108 selects the CCE in the C-SS or the allocation target terminal. Assign CCE in the configured UE-SS to DCI.
- the number of concatenated CCEs assigned to one DCI differs depending on the coding rate and the number of bits of DCI (that is, the amount of information of assignment control information). For example, since the coding rate of the PDCCH signal addressed to the terminal located near the cell boundary is set low, more physical resources are required. Therefore, allocating section 108 allocates more CCEs to DCI addressed to terminals located near the cell boundary.
- allocation section 108 outputs information on CCE allocated to DCI to multiplexing section 110 and ACK / NACK reception section 121. Also, allocation section 108 outputs the encoded / modulated DCI to multiplexing section 110.
- the encoding / modulation unit 106 modulates the setting information input from the setting unit 101 and the search space information input from the search space setting unit 103 (that is, control information of the upper layer) after channel encoding,
- the modulated setting information and search space information are output to multiplexing section 110.
- Encoding / modulating section 107 modulates input transmission data (downlink data) after channel encoding, and outputs the modulated transmission data signal to multiplexing section 110.
- the multiplexing unit 110 receives the encoded / modulated DCI signal received from the allocating unit 108, the modulated setting information and search space information (that is, control information of the upper layer) received from the encoding / modulating unit 106, and the encoding A data signal (that is, a PDSCH signal) received from the modulation unit 107 is multiplexed on the time axis and the frequency axis.
- multiplexing section 110 multiplies the DCI in the R-PDCCH region for terminals that use DM-RS as a demodulation reference signal, the PDSCH signal, or the like by a weight, and performs IFFT (Inverse for each antenna). (Fast Fourier Transform) unit 111. Further, multiplexing section 110 performs SFBC (Spatial frequency block coding) processing on a signal for which no transmission weight is set (that is, DCI in the PDCCH region) and outputs it to IFFT section 111 for each antenna. Further, the multiplexing unit 110 maps the PDCCH signal and the data signal (PDSCH signal) based on the downlink resource allocation information received from the control unit 102. The multiplexing unit 110 may map the setting information and search space information to the PDSCH. Further, multiplexing section 110 maps the PCFICH signal to the first OFDM symbol of the subframe.
- SFBC Spatial frequency block coding
- the IFFT unit 111 converts the multiplexed signal for each antenna received from the multiplexing unit 110 into a time waveform, and the CP adding unit 112 adds the CP to the time waveform to obtain an OFDM signal.
- the transmission RF unit 113 performs transmission radio processing (up-conversion, digital analog (D / A) conversion, etc.) on the OFDM signal received from the CP adding unit 112 and transmits the signal via the antenna 114.
- transmission radio processing up-conversion, digital analog (D / A) conversion, etc.
- the reception RF unit 115 performs reception radio processing (down-conversion, analog digital (A / D) conversion, etc.) on the reception radio signal received in the reception band via the antenna 114, and the obtained reception signal is processed.
- the data is output to the CP removal unit 116.
- CP removing section 116 removes CP from the received signal
- FFT (Fast Fourier Transform) section 117 converts the received signal after CP removal into a frequency domain signal.
- the extraction unit 118 extracts uplink data from the frequency domain signal received from the FFT unit 117 based on the uplink resource allocation information received from the control unit 102, and the IDFT unit 119 converts the extraction signal into a time domain signal.
- the time domain signal is output to data receiving section 120 and ACK / NACK receiving section 121.
- the data receiving unit 120 decodes the time domain signal input from the IDFT unit 119. Data reception section 120 then outputs the decoded uplink data as received data.
- the ACK / NACK receiving unit 121 extracts an ACK / NACK signal from each terminal for downlink data (PDSCH signal) from the time domain signal received from the IDFT unit 119. Specifically, the ACK / NACK receiving unit 121 extracts the ACK / NACK signal from the uplink control channel (for example, PUCCH (Physical-Uplink-Control-Channel)) based on the information received from the allocation unit 108.
- the uplink control channel is an uplink control channel associated with the CCE used for transmission of downlink allocation control information corresponding to the downlink data.
- the ACK / NACK receiving unit 121 performs ACK / NACK determination of the extracted ACK / NACK signal.
- each terminal determines the PUCCH used for transmission of the ACK / NACK signal based on the CCE in which downlink allocation control information (DCI) to the terminal is mapped according to this association.
- DCI downlink allocation control information
- FIG. 9 is a block diagram showing a configuration of terminal 200 according to Embodiment 1 of the present invention.
- Terminal 200 receives downlink data and transmits an ACK / NACK signal for the downlink data to base station 100 using PUCCH that is an uplink control channel.
- terminal 200 includes antenna 201, reception RF section 202, CP removal section 203, FFT section 204, separation section 205, setting information reception section 206, PDCCH reception section 207, and PDSCH reception section. 208, modulation units 209 and 210, DFT unit 211, mapping unit 212, IFFT unit 213, CP addition unit 214, transmission RF unit 215, and PCFICH reception unit 216.
- the reception RF unit 202 sets the reception band based on the band information received from the setting information reception unit 206.
- the reception RF unit 202 performs reception radio processing (down-conversion, analog digital (A / D) conversion, etc.) on a radio signal (here, an OFDM signal) received in the reception band via the antenna 201, and is obtained.
- the received signal is output to the CP removing unit 203.
- the received signal may include PDSCH signal, DCI, and higher layer control information including setting information and search space information.
- the DCI (assignment control information) addressed to the terminal 200 is a common search space (C-SS) set for the terminal 200 and other terminals, or an individual search space set for the terminal 200. (UE-SS).
- C-SS common search space
- CP removing section 203 removes the CP from the received signal, and FFT section 204 converts the received signal after the CP removal into a frequency domain signal. This frequency domain signal is output to the separation unit 205.
- the demultiplexing unit 205 outputs to the PDCCH receiving unit 207 a component that may contain DCI among signals received from the FFT unit 204 (that is, a signal extracted from the PDCCH region and the R-PDCCH region). Separating section 205 outputs a higher layer control signal including setting information (for example, RRC signaling) to setting information receiving section 206, and outputs a data signal (that is, PDSCH signal) to PDSCH receiving section 208. Separating section 205 extracts a signal component corresponding to the PCFICH signal from the signals received from FFT section 204 and outputs the extracted signal component to PCFICH receiving section 216.
- setting information for example, RRC signaling
- the setting information receiving unit 206 receives the band information set for the own terminal, the information indicating the terminal ID set for the own terminal, the search space set for the own terminal from the upper layer control signal input from the separating unit 205 Information, information indicating a reference signal set in the own terminal, and information indicating a transmission mode set in the own terminal are read.
- the band information set in the own terminal is output to the PDCCH reception unit 207, the reception RF unit 202, and the transmission RF unit 215.
- information indicating the terminal ID set to the own terminal is output to the PDCCH receiving unit 207 as terminal ID information.
- the search space area information is output to PDCCH receiving section 207.
- information indicating the reference signal set in the own terminal is output to PDCCH receiving section 207 as reference signal information.
- information indicating the transmission mode set for the terminal itself is output to PDCCH receiving section 207 as transmission mode information.
- the PCFICH receiving unit 216 specifies the PDCCH region scale based on the CFI included in the PCFICH signal received from the separating unit 205, and outputs the PDCCH region scale value to the PDCCH receiving unit 207.
- the PDCCH reception unit 207 performs blind decoding (monitoring) on the signal input from the separation unit 205 to obtain DCI addressed to the terminal itself.
- the PDCCH receiving unit 207 has a DCI format for data allocation common to all terminals (for example, DCI 0 / 1A) and a DCI format (for example, DCI 1, 1B, 1D, 2, 2A, 0A, 0B) and a DCI format (for example, DCI 1C, 1A) for common channel allocation common to all terminals, are subjected to blind decoding. Thereby, DCI including allocation control information of each DCI format is obtained.
- the PDCCH receiving unit 207 first extracts the CCE resource in the PDCCH region from the received signal based on the PDCCH region scale value received from the PCFICH receiving unit 216. Then, when the area indicated by the search space area information received from setting information receiving section 206 is a PDCCH area, PDCCH receiving section 207 directs the common channel allocation to C-SS indicated by the search space area information. DCI format (DCI 1C, 1A) and DCI format for data allocation common to all terminals (DCI 0 / 1A) are subjected to blind decoding.
- the PDCCH receiving unit 207 when the PDCCH region scale value received from the PCFICH receiving unit 216 is equal to or greater than a predetermined threshold (the same as the predetermined threshold used by the base station 100), the PDCCH receiving unit 207 includes a signal in the R-PDCCH region. While the search space is blind-decoded, if the PDCCH region scale value is less than a predetermined threshold, the search space in the R-PDCCH region is not blind-decoded.
- the predetermined threshold is the maximum value of the PDCCH region scale value, only when the predetermined value is the maximum value, PDCCH reception section 207 performs blind decoding on the search space in the R-PDCCH region.
- PDCCH receiving section 207 outputs downlink resource allocation information included in DCI addressed to its own terminal to PDSCH receiving section 208 when receiving downlink allocation control information, and when receiving uplink allocation control information, PDCCH receiving section 207 receives uplink allocation control information.
- the resource allocation information is output to the mapping unit 212.
- the PDSCH receiving unit 208 extracts received data (downlink data) from the PDSCH signal received from the separating unit 205 based on the downlink resource allocation information received from the PDCCH receiving unit 207. That is, PDSCH receiving section 208 performs downlink data (allocation control information) based on downlink resource allocation information (allocation control information) addressed to terminal 200 allocated to any one of a plurality of DCI allocation area candidates (blind decoding area candidates). Downlink data signal) is received. PDSCH receiving section 208 also performs error detection on the extracted received data (downlink data).
- the PDSCH receiving unit 208 generates a NACK signal as the ACK / NACK signal, and if there is no error in the received data, the PDSCH receiving unit 208 receives the ACK / NACK signal as the ACK / NACK signal. Generate a signal. This ACK / NACK signal is output to modulation section 209.
- Modulation section 209 modulates the ACK / NACK signal input from PDSCH reception section 208 and outputs the modulated ACK / NACK signal to mapping section 212.
- Modulation section 210 modulates transmission data (uplink data) and outputs the modulated data signal to DFT section 211.
- the DFT unit 211 converts the data signal input from the modulation unit 210 into the frequency domain, and outputs a plurality of frequency components obtained to the mapping unit 212.
- the mapping unit 212 maps a plurality of frequency components received from the DFT unit 211 to the PUSCH according to the uplink resource allocation information received from the PDCCH receiving unit 207. Further, mapping section 212 identifies the PUCCH according to the CCE number received from PDCCH receiving section 207. Then, mapping section 212 maps the ACK / NACK signal input from modulation section 209 to the specified PUCCH.
- the IFFT unit 213 converts a plurality of frequency components mapped to the PUSCH into a time domain waveform, and the CP adding unit 214 adds a CP to the time domain waveform.
- the transmission RF unit 215 is configured to be able to change the transmission band.
- the transmission RF unit 215 sets the transmission band based on the band information received from the setting information reception unit 206. Then, the transmission RF unit 215 performs transmission radio processing (up-conversion, digital analog (D / A) conversion, etc.) on the signal to which the CP is added, and transmits the signal via the antenna 201.
- transmission radio processing up-conversion, digital analog (D / A) conversion, etc.
- the transmission region setting unit 131 sets a resource region used for DCI transmission for the terminal 200 based on the value indicated by the PDCCH region scale information received from the control unit 102 (that is, the PDCCH region scale value).
- transmission region setting section 131 determines that it is normal, and sets the PDCCH region for terminal 200, while the PDCCH region scale value is a predetermined value.
- the search space setting unit 103 has a plurality of DCI allocation region candidates in the PDCCH region and the R-PDCCH region (C- SS and UE-SS).
- the PCFICH generation unit 109 generates a PCFICH signal based on the PDCCH region scale value received from the control unit 102.
- This PCFICH signal is transmitted via multiplexing section 110, IFFT section 111, CP adding section 112, and transmission RF section 113.
- FIG. 10 is a flowchart for explaining the operation of the terminal 200.
- step S101 the PCFICH receiving unit 216 specifies the PDCCH region scale based on the CFI included in the PCFICH signal received from the separating unit 205, and outputs the PDCCH region scale value to the PDCCH receiving unit 207.
- step S102 the PDCCH reception unit 207 determines whether or not the PDCCH region scale value received from the PCFICH reception unit 216 is equal to or greater than a predetermined threshold (here, the maximum value of the PDCCH region scale value).
- a predetermined threshold here, the maximum value of the PDCCH region scale value
- step S103 the PDCCH receiving unit 207 performs blind decoding of the R-PDCCH region.
- step S104 the PDCCH receiving unit 207 performs blind decoding of the PDCCH region.
- step S104 the PDCCH receiving unit 207 performs blind decoding of the PDCCH region and does not perform blind decoding of the R-PDCCH region.
- the DCI addressed to the own terminal is extracted.
- the downlink resource allocation control information unit (ie, DCI) addressed to terminal 200 can be used in both the downlink control channel region and the downlink data channel region (first resource region ( That is, in the base station 100 that maps and transmits to the R-PDCCH region) or the second resource region that can be used only for the downlink control channel (that is, the PDCCH region), the control unit 102 sets the scale of the PDCCH region.
- the transmission region setting unit 131 sets a mapping region for mapping DCI in the R-PDCCH region and the PDCCH region based on the set scale value (that is, the CFI value) by the control unit 102.
- the DCI mapping region can be set to the R-PDCCH region or the PDCCH region according to the CFI value that is an index related to the degree of congestion of the PDCCH region. It can be used as a mapping area.
- the transmission area setting unit 131 sets the R-PDCCH area as the mapping area only when the set scale value is equal to or greater than the threshold value.
- the threshold value is the maximum value in the scale value candidate group in the PDCCH region.
- erroneous detection of DCI addressed to another terminal as DCI addressed to the own terminal is a corresponding part of the CRC bit masked by the terminal ID in the base station 100. Is equivalent to being received in a state different from the transmitted state. That is, only a part of the CRC bits (that is, a bit portion where the erroneously detected DCI is different from the terminal ID of the allocation target terminal) is equivalent to an error.
- the R-PDCCH region can be used for data transmission. For this reason, when the number of control channels to be transmitted is small, only the PDCCH region is often used without using the R-PDCCH region. That is, in the PDCCH region, DCI is actually actually transmitted, including DCI addressed to other terminals.
- the transmission region setting unit 131 sets the R-PDCCH region as the mapping region only when the set scale value is equal to or greater than the threshold value, so that the probability of erroneous detection is higher than that of the PDCCH region.
- the frequency with which a high R-PDCCH region is used as a mapping region can be reduced. That is, it is possible to limit the opportunity for DCI transmission on the R-PDCCH. As a result, the occurrence probability of erroneous detection in the entire system can be reduced, so that a decrease in system throughput can be prevented.
- the R-PDCCH region is mainly used as a mapping region when the PDCCH region is tight.
- the R-PDCCH region is rarely used as the mapping region. Therefore, even if the R-PDCCH region is excluded from the mapping region when the scale value of the PDCCH region is equal to or smaller than a predetermined threshold, there is little possibility of losing the opportunity to allocate downlink data to the terminal 200. That is, the occurrence probability of erroneous detection in the entire system can be reduced without impairing the opportunity to allocate downlink data to terminal 200.
- demultiplexing section 205 and PCFICH receiving section 216 have a first resource area (that is, R-PDCCH area) that can be used for either a downlink control channel area or a downlink data channel area, or the downlink A downlink allocation control information unit (ie, DCI) including a cyclic redundancy check (CRC) bit masked or scrambled by the identification information of the destination terminal in the second resource region (ie, PDCCH region) that can be used only for the control channel. ), And receives scale information indicating the scale set in the PDCCH region.
- R-PDCCH area that can be used for either a downlink control channel area or a downlink data channel area
- DCI downlink allocation control information unit
- CRC cyclic redundancy check
- the PDCCH receiving unit 207 Based on the scale information, the PDCCH receiving unit 207 identifies a detection target resource region in the R-PDCCH region and the PDCCH region, and Based on the identification information of its own terminal within the detection target resource area To detect a downlink assignment control information units addressed to its own terminal.
- terminal 200 since terminal 200 sets whether or not R-PDCCH is to be subjected to blind decoding according to the scale information, no additional control information is required.
- the PDCCH receiving unit 207 specifies the R-PDCCH region as the detection target resource region only when the scale value indicated by the scale information is equal to or greater than the threshold value.
- the threshold value is the maximum value in the scale value candidate group in the PDCCH region.
- ⁇ Modification 2> In the base station 100, when the value (that is, the PDCCH region scale value) indicated by the PDCCH region scale information received from the control unit 102 by the transmission region setting unit 131 is smaller than a predetermined threshold, a plurality of downlink allocation control information units are included.
- the R-PDCCH region is set as the DCI mapping region only when the format is a specific format. Then, when the PDCCH region scale value is equal to or larger than a predetermined threshold, the transmission region setting unit 131 does not limit the DCI format mapped to the R-PDCCH region.
- PDCCH reception unit 207 sets only DCI that is a specific format among a plurality of formats as a detection target (that is, a blind decoding target).
- the PDCCH receiving unit 207 does not limit the DCI format to be detected when the PDCCH region scale value is equal to or greater than a predetermined threshold.
- the above-mentioned specific format is, for example, DCI0 / 1A.
- base station 100 can assign DCI to terminal 200 at any time. That is, the false detection rate can be efficiently reduced by reducing the blind decoding frequency of the R-PDCCH while securing a certain degree of freedom in DCI allocation.
- the base station 100 may set which DCI format is the specific format described above, and notify the terminal 200 of the setting information.
- the transmission region setting unit 131 determines the DCI allocation region candidate constituting the mapping region as compared with the case where the PDCCH region scale value is equal to or larger than the threshold. Set a smaller number.
- PDCCH reception section 207 when smaller than the PDCCH region scale value, reduces the number of decoding target unit region candidates constituting the mapping region, compared to when the PDCCH region scale value is equal to or greater than the threshold value.
- terminal 200 has a PDCCH region scale value equal to or greater than a threshold value.
- blind decoding is performed on all decoding target unit region candidates (that is, 16), and if the PDCCH region scale value is smaller than the threshold value, half in the R-PDCCH region. Blind decoding is performed on the eight decoding target unit region candidates.
- the decoding target unit region candidates may be uniformly reduced with respect to all the CCE concatenation numbers, or may be reduced only when the CCE concatenation number is small, for example.
- the false detection rate can be efficiently reduced by reducing the blind decoding frequency of the R-PDCCH while ensuring a certain degree of freedom of DCI allocation to the terminal 200 of the base station 100.
- the DCI mapping area is set depending on whether or not the PDCCH area scale value is equal to or greater than a predetermined threshold. However, whether or not the PDCCH area scale value is the maximum value in the scale value candidate group.
- the DCI mapping area may be set as described above.
- Embodiment 2 In the second embodiment, only a PDCCH region is set as a DCI mapping region in a specific subframe.
- the basic configurations of the base station and the terminal according to Embodiment 2 are the same as those in Embodiment 1, and will be described with reference to FIGS.
- transmission region setting section 131 sets the configuration of subframes on a cell basis. That is, transmission region setting section 131 sets a subframe for transmitting PBCH (broadcast channel), a subframe for transmitting SCH (synchronization channel), a subframe for transmitting CSI-RS (quality measurement pilot signal), and the like.
- PBCH is transmitted in subframe 1 (that is, the first subframe in the frame)
- SCH is transmitted in subframes 1 and 6.
- the CSI-RS is transmitted, for example, every 2, 5, 10 or 20 subframes. Setting information regarding these subframe types is reported to terminal 200.
- the transmission region setting unit 131 sets only the PDCCH region as the DCI mapping region without setting the R-PDCCH region as the DCI mapping region in a specific subframe even when the PDCCH region scale value is equal to or larger than the threshold. To do.
- transmission region setting section 131 applies only the PDCCH region to DCI for all terminals 200. Set as the mapping area.
- setting information receiving section 206 extracts subframe setting information from the received signal input from demultiplexing section 205 and outputs the subframe setting information to PDCCH receiving section 207.
- PDCCH receiving section 207 determines whether the current subframe (that is, the subframe to be processed) is any one of the PBCH transmission subframe, the SCH transmission subframe, and the CSI-RS transmission subframe. Determine whether. Then, when the current subframe (that is, the subframe to be processed) is any one of the PBCH transmission subframe, the SCH transmission subframe, and the CSI-RS transmission subframe, the PDCCH reception unit 207 determines only the PDCCH region. It is specified as a blind decoding target area.
- both the PDCCH region and the R-PDCCH region is specified as a blind decoding target region.
- transmission region setting section 131 sets R-PDCCH region as DCI in a specific subframe even when the PDCCH region scale value is equal to or larger than the threshold value. Only the PDCCH region is set as the DCI mapping region without using the mapping region.
- PDCCH receiving section 207 specifies only the PDCCH region as a detection target resource region (that is, blind decoding target region) in a specific subframe.
- the specific subframe described above is a PBCH transmission subframe, an SCH transmission subframe, or a CSI-RS transmission subframe.
- the terminal 200 cannot receive DCI in the R-PDCCH region with a sufficiently low error rate, or the DCI may be received so that the terminal 200 can receive DCI in the R-PDCCH region with a sufficiently low error rate. It is necessary to transmit using many RB resources in the R-PDCCH region.
- the number of RBs used for data is reduced, so that the data throughput may be greatly degraded. Therefore, in a specific subframe, even if only the PDCCH region is set as the DCI mapping region (or blind decoding target region), the degree of freedom of scheduling by the base station 100 does not deteriorate and the system throughput hardly deteriorates. . That is, it is possible to efficiently reduce the false detection rate by reducing the blind decoding frequency of R-PDCCH without degrading the system throughput.
- Embodiment 3 In the third embodiment, as in the second embodiment, in a specific subframe, only the PDCCH region is set as the DCI mapping region. However, in Embodiment 3, the R-PDCCH for terminals is transmitted from the base station to the terminal together with DMRS (DeModulation Reference Signal). That is, the terminal demodulates the R-PDCCH for the terminal using DMRS. In the third embodiment, an operation using an MBSFN subframe in addition to a normal subframe (non-MBSFN subframe) is performed (see FIG. 12). The basic configurations of the base station and the terminal according to Embodiment 3 are the same as those in Embodiment 1, and will be described with reference to FIGS.
- transmission region setting section 131 sets the configuration of subframes in units of cells. That is, transmission region setting section 131 sets an MBSFN subframe and a non-MBSFN subframe.
- subframes 0, 4, 5, and 9 in which PBCH, SCH (Primary Synchronization Signal and Secondary Synchronization Signal) or Paging information may be transmitted in one frame (10 subframes) are MBSFN sub Setting as a frame is prohibited.
- the transmission region setting unit 131 sets only the PDCCH region as the DCI mapping region without using the R-PDCCH region as the DCI mapping region. Specifically, if the current subframe is non-MBSFN, transmission region setting section 131 sets only the PDCCH region as the DCI mapping region for all terminals 200. Also, if the current subframe is an MBSFN subframe, transmission region setting section 131 sets both the PDCCH region and the R-PDCCH region as DCI mapping regions for all terminals 200.
- setting information receiving section 206 extracts subframe setting information from the received signal input from demultiplexing section 205 and outputs the subframe setting information to PDCCH receiving section 207.
- the PDCCH receiving unit 207 determines whether the current subframe (that is, the subframe to be processed) is an MBSFN subframe or a non-MBSFN subframe based on the subframe setting information. Then, when the current subframe (that is, the processing target subframe) is a non-MBSFN subframe, PDCCH reception section 207 specifies only the PDCCH region as the blind decoding target region. On the other hand, when the current subframe (that is, the subframe to be processed) is an MBSFN subframe, PDCCH receiving section 207 specifies both the PDCCH region and the R-PDCCH region as blind decoding target regions.
- DMRS is a reference signal transmitted for each terminal 200 to which data is allocated. Therefore, unlike CRS (Common Reference Signal) which is always transmitted in all subframes, DMRS is in downlink resources assigned to terminal 200 (that is, specified by subframes and resource blocks (RB)). Only sent. And DMRS is transmitted for every terminal. For this reason, since DMRS can be transmitted by beamforming based on Precoding, reception quality in terminal 200 can be improved.
- CRS Common Reference Signal
- the MBSFN subframe is used to transmit MBMS data (that is, Multicast or Broadcast data) from a plurality of base stations to the terminal as SFN (Single Frequency Network).
- MBMS data that is, Multicast or Broadcast data
- SFN Single Frequency Network
- the mapping region of PDCCH and CSRS cell specific reference signal
- the MBSFN subframe is also used for transmitting Unicast data using DMRS.
- CRS is not included after the 3rd OFDM symbol of the MBSFN subframe.
- CRS is also included in the third and subsequent OFDM symbols. That is, since CRS is a signal that reduces the number of REs that can use R-PDCCH, R-PDCCH can be used compared to MBSFN subframes after the third OFDM symbol of non-MBSFN subframes. There are few RE numbers.
- the PDCCH region and the R-PDCCH are set as the DCI mapping region in the MBSFN subframe, and only the PDCCH region is set as the DCI mapping region in the non-MBSFN subframe.
- transmission region setting section 131 does not set the R-PDCCH region as the DCI mapping region in the specific subframe, but only the PDCCH region as the DCI mapping region.
- the specific subframe described above is a non-MBSFN subframe.
- PDCCH receiving section 207 does not specify the R-PDCCH region as a detection target resource region (ie, blind decoding target region) in a specific subframe, but only the PDCCH region. Is specified as a detection target resource area.
- the specific subframe described above is a non-MBSFN subframe.
- the PDCCH region is limited to 2 OFDM symbols.
- the CSRS is not included in the third OFDM symbol and thereafter (that is, the R-PDCCH region). For this reason, since there is no CSRS that causes a decrease in the number of R-PDCCH usable REs after the 3rd OFDM symbol of the MBSFN subframe, more resources (ie, RE (Resource Element)) are allocated to R. -Can be used for PDCCH.
- RE Resource Element
- CRS is also included in the third and subsequent OFDM symbols.
- non-MBSFN subframe the amount of resources that can be used for the R-PDCCH is small after the third OFDM symbol. Therefore, in a normal subframe (non-MBSFN subframe), terminal 200 cannot receive DCI in the R-PDCCH region with a sufficiently low error rate, or terminal 200 has a sufficiently low error rate in R-PDCCH region. Therefore, DCI needs to be transmitted using many RB resources in the R-PDCCH region. For this reason, in the normal subframe (non-MBSFN subframe), the number of RBs used for data is reduced, so that the data throughput may be greatly deteriorated.
- non-MBSFN subframe even if only the PDCCH region is set as the DCI mapping region (or blind decoding target region), the degree of freedom of scheduling by the base station 100 does not deteriorate, There is almost no degradation of system throughput. That is, it is possible to efficiently reduce the false detection rate by reducing the blind decoding frequency of R-PDCCH without degrading the system throughput.
- the PDCCH region can be set only from the first OFDM symbol to 2 OFDM symbols.
- the PDCCH region can be set from the first OFDM symbol to 3 OFDM symbols. That is, in a normal subframe (non-MBSFN subframe), there is a possibility that resources for mapping DCI to all allocation target terminals can be covered only by the PDCCH region. For this reason, in a normal subframe (non-MBSFN subframe), even if only the PDCCH region is set as a DCI mapping region (or a blind decoding target region), the degree of freedom of scheduling does not deteriorate and the system throughput hardly deteriorates. Absent. That is, it is possible to efficiently reduce the false detection rate by reducing the blind decoding frequency of R-PDCCH without degrading the system throughput.
- the PDCCH region is described as the DCI mapping region (or blind decoding target region).
- the present invention is not limited to this, and the following modifications can be added.
- an R-PDCCH region limited to the R-PDCCH region in the MBSFN subframe may be a DCI mapping region (or a blind decoding target region). Even in this case, the number of times of blind decoding of the R-PDCCH can be reduced in the non-MBSFN subframe compared to the MBSFN subframe, so that the false detection rate can be reduced.
- the R-PDCCH region may be a DCI mapping region (or blind decoding target region).
- the PDCCH region has a maximum of 2 OFDM symbols, and a common channel (broadcast information, Paging information, etc.) is not allocated. Therefore, PDCCH is difficult to use in the MBSFN subframe. Therefore, in the MBSFN subframe, even if only the R-PDCCH region is used as the DCI mapping region, the scheduling freedom by the base station 100 is hardly affected, and the system throughput is hardly deteriorated. That is, it is possible to reduce the false detection rate by reducing the PDCCH blind decoding frequency in the MBSFN subframe without degrading the system throughput.
- a PDCCH region limited to the PDCCH region in the non-MBSFN subframe may be a DCI mapping region (or blind decoding target region).
- the number of R-PDCCH blind decoding can be reduced in the MBSFN subframe, so that the false detection rate can be reduced.
- ⁇ Modification 4> When MBMS data is transmitted in the MBSFN subframe, only the PDCCH region may be used as the DCI mapping region (or blind decoding target region) in the MBSFN subframe. Thereby, the number of times of blind decoding of R-PDCCH can be reduced in a subframe that is unlikely to be allocated as a data resource for terminal 200. That is, the false detection rate can be efficiently reduced by reducing the blind decoding frequency of the R-PDCCH without substantially reducing the degree of freedom of scheduling by the base station 100.
- ⁇ Modification 5> The above-described modified examples 1 to 4 can be combined.
- the PDCCH region is the DCI mapping region (or blind decoding target region)
- the R-PDCCH region is the DCI mapping region (or blind decoding target region). It may be said.
- the false detection rate not only can the false detection rate be reduced for the same reason as described above, but only one of the PDCCH region and the R-PDCCH region is set as the blind decoding target region in each subframe, which complicates the configuration of terminal 200.
- the power consumption can be reduced without causing it to occur.
- the point is that the number of decoding target unit region candidates constituting the mapping region in the R-PDCCH region is greater than that of a specific subframe (here, MBSFN subframe).
- a specific subframe here, MBSFN subframe.
- Subframes other than a specific subframe that is, non-MBSFN subframes may be set smaller.
- this embodiment can be combined with the first embodiment. That is, in this case, when the current subframe is a non-MBSFN subframe, the transmission region setting unit 131 of the base station 100 converts only the PDCCH region into the DCI mapping region even if the PDCCH region scale value is greater than or equal to the threshold value. Set as. When the current subframe is an MBSFN subframe, the transmission region setting unit 131 sets the PDCCH region and the R-PDCCH region as the DCI mapping region when the PDCCH region scale value is equal to or greater than the threshold, and the PDCCH region scale When the value is less than the threshold, only the PDCCH region is set as the DCI mapping region.
- the heterogeneous network includes a macro base station that forms a macro cell (that is, a cell having a large cell radius) and a pico base station that forms a pico cell (that is, a cell having a small cell radius) scattered within the macro cell (see FIG. 4).
- a terminal connected to the macro base station is referred to as a “macro terminal”
- a terminal connected to the pico base station is referred to as a “pico terminal”.
- base station 100 is a macro base station
- terminal 200 is a macro terminal.
- transmission region setting section 131 sets the configuration of subframes on a cell basis. That is, the transmission area setting unit 131 sets ABS (Almost Blank Subframe) and non-ABS.
- the transmission area setting unit 131 sets only the PDCCH area as the DCI mapping area without using the R-PDCCH area as the DCI mapping area. Specifically, if the current subframe is non-ABS, transmission region setting section 131 sets only the PDCCH region as the DCI mapping region for all terminals 200.
- the ABS is a subframe in which the macro base station reduces transmission power (for example, a subframe that does not transmit other than the CRS and the necessary broadcast channel and synchronization channel). Then, for example, one or a plurality of subframes are set as ABS in units of 40 ms.
- setting information receiving section 206 extracts subframe setting information from the received signal input from demultiplexing section 205 and outputs the subframe setting information to PDCCH receiving section 207.
- the PDCCH receiving unit 207 determines whether the current subframe (that is, the subframe to be processed) is ABS or non-ABS based on the subframe setting information. Then, when the current subframe (that is, the processing target subframe) is a non-ABS, PDCCH receiving section 207 specifies only the PDCCH region as the blind decoding target region. On the other hand, when the current subframe (that is, the subframe to be processed) is an ABS, both the PDCCH region and the R-PDCCH region are specified as blind decoding target regions.
- the signal transmitted from the macro base station to the macro terminal is a large interference (that is, inter-cell interference) for the pico terminal, and there is a problem that the coverage area of the pico cell is reduced. Therefore, ABS (Almost Blank Subframe) is used in order to reduce interference from the macro base station to the pico terminal and expand the coverage area of the pico cell (see FIG. 13).
- ABS Almost Blank Subframe
- the macro base station does not transmit data in all RBs, and the amount of transmission data of the pico base station is small, data is transmitted using some unused RBs in the pico base station. It is more efficient to use the resource if it is transmitted.
- the PDCCH is transmitted by resources distributed randomly for each cell over the entire band.
- the macro base station can allocate data without interfering with the pico terminal by allocating the data resource to the macro terminal using the R-PDCCH in the ABS. Furthermore, by applying beamforming transmission using DMRS to the R-PDCCH, it is possible to reduce interference with a pico terminal.
- transmission region setting section 131 does not set the R-PDCCH region as the DCI mapping region in the specific subframe, but only the PDCCH region as the DCI mapping region. Set as.
- the specific subframe described above is non-ABS.
- PDCCH receiving section 207 does not specify the R-PDCCH region as a detection target resource region (ie, blind decoding target region) in a specific subframe, but only the PDCCH region. Is specified as a detection target resource area.
- the specific subframe described above is non-ABS.
- the R-PDCCH for terminals is mainly used in the ABS in the macro cell.
- the ABS frequency resource in the macro cell without giving a large interference to the pico terminal.
- system throughput can be improved.
- non-ABS even if the R-PDCCH region is not a DCI mapping region, the degradation of throughput due to the limited degree of freedom of resource allocation is considered to be small. Therefore, in non-ABS, only the PDCCH region is used as a DCI mapping region, and the false detection rate can be reduced by reducing the number of R-PDCCH blind decoding operations while suppressing throughput deterioration.
- the PDCCH region is described as a DCI mapping region (or a blind decoding target region).
- the present invention is not limited to this, and the following modifications can be added.
- the R-PDCCH region limited to the R-PDCCH region in the ABS may be a DCI mapping region (or blind decoding target region). Even in this case, the non-ABS can reduce the number of times of blind decoding of the R-PDCCH as compared with the ABS, so that the false detection rate can be reduced.
- the R-PDCCH region may be a DCI mapping region (or a blind decoding target region).
- the PDCCH is hardly used.
- the degree of freedom of scheduling is hardly affected, and the system throughput is hardly deteriorated. That is, the false detection rate can be reduced by reducing the PDCCH blind decoding frequency in the ABS without degrading the system throughput.
- a PDCCH region limited to the PDCCH region in the non-ABS may be a DCI mapping region (or blind decoding target region).
- the ABS can reduce the number of times of blind decoding of R-PDCCH, the false detection rate can be reduced.
- the PDCCH region may be a DCI mapping region (or blind decoding target region).
- the operation is an operation in which nothing is transmitted in the macro cell ABS in order to give priority to the expansion of the pico cell cover area.
- the PDCCH region is used for the base station 100 to notify the minimum common channel information (broadcast information and Paging information) in the ABS.
- the number of times of blind decoding of R-PDCCH can be reduced in a subframe that is unlikely to be allocated as a data resource for terminal 200. That is, the false detection rate can be efficiently reduced by reducing the blind decoding frequency of the R-PDCCH without substantially reducing the degree of freedom of scheduling by the base station 100.
- the main point is that the number of decoding target unit region candidates constituting the mapping region in the R-PDCCH region is more specific than a specific subframe (here, ABS).
- Subframes other than the subframe that is, non-ABS may be set smaller.
- the macro base station may explicitly notify the ABS of the macro terminal or may implicitly notify the macro terminal.
- two types of subsets may be notified to the terminal as subsets of subframes.
- the macro terminal may regard the first subset as a non-ABS and regard the second subset as an ABS.
- the two types of subsets described above may be, for example, csi-SubframeSet1 and csi-SubframeSet2 in RelR10.
- Csi-SubframeSet1 and csi-SubframeSet2 in Rel 10 are used to distinguish CSI measurements of two types of subframes having different interference or signal power in CSI reporting.
- a limited subframe to be measured may be regarded as a non-ABS and the others may be regarded as an ABS in quality measurement for terminal mobility control.
- the former is notified from the base station to the terminal as measSubframePattern.
- this embodiment can be combined with the first embodiment. That is, in this case, when the current subframe is non-ABS, transmission region setting section 131 of base station 100 sets only the PDCCH region as the DCI mapping region even if the PDCCH region scale value is greater than or equal to the threshold value. To do.
- the transmission region setting unit 131 sets the PDCCH region and the R-PDCCH region as the DCI mapping region when the PDCCH region scale value is equal to or greater than the threshold, and the PDCCH region scale value is When it is less than the threshold, only the PDCCH region is set as the DCI mapping region.
- Embodiment 5 In the fifth embodiment, as in the second embodiment, only the PDCCH region is set as a DCI mapping region in a specific subframe. However, in the fifth embodiment, a heterogeneous network is assumed.
- the basic configurations of the base station and the terminal according to Embodiment 5 are the same as those in Embodiment 1, and will be described with reference to FIGS.
- base station 100 is a pico base station
- terminal 200 is a pico terminal.
- the ABS set in the macro cell is called a macro ABS
- the non-ABS set in the macro cell is called a macro non-ABS.
- transmission region setting section 131 sets the configuration of subframes in units of cells. That is, the transmission area setting unit 131 sets a macro ABS and a macro non-ABS.
- the setting information of the macro ABS and the macro non-ABS is notified from the macro base station to the pico base station through communication using the X2 interface or the optical fiber line between the base stations.
- the transmission area setting unit 131 sets only the PDCCH area as the DCI mapping area without using the R-PDCCH area as the DCI mapping area. Specifically, if the current subframe is a macro ABS, transmission region setting section 131 sets only the PDCCH region as the DCI mapping region for all terminals 200.
- setting information receiving section 206 extracts subframe setting information from the received signal input from demultiplexing section 205 and outputs the subframe setting information to PDCCH receiving section 207.
- the PDCCH receiving unit 207 determines whether the current subframe (that is, the subframe to be processed) is a macro ABS or a macro non-ABS based on the subframe setting information. Then, when the current subframe (that is, the processing target subframe) is a macro ABS, PDCCH receiving section 207 specifies only the PDCCH region as the blind decoding target region. On the other hand, when the current subframe (that is, the subframe to be processed) is a macro non-ABS, the PDCCH reception unit 207 performs blind decoding on both the PDCCH region and the R-PDCCH region (or only the R-PDCCH region). Identify as the target area.
- the interference that the pico terminal receives from the macro cell is small, but in the macro non-ABS, the interference that the pico terminal receives from the macro cell is large (see FIG. 14).
- macro non-ABS since the pico terminal receives large interference from the macro cell, there is a high possibility that the SINR of the PDCCH in the pico cell is not sufficient.
- the pico terminal since the pico terminal receives less interference from the macro cell, there is a high possibility that the SINR of the PDCCH in the pico cell is sufficient.
- R-PDCCH in a pico cell, transmission is performed using a beam forming effect by applying beam forming using DMRS, a frequency scheduling effect by transmitting only by a specific RB, or an RB not used in a macro cell. Therefore, even if it is a macro non-ABS, a high SINR can be easily obtained. That is, in a pico cell, R-PDCCH is most suitable to be used in macro non-ABS. Therefore, in the fifth embodiment, in the pico cell, only the PDCCH region is set as the DCI mapping region in the macro ABS.
- transmission region setting section 131 does not set the R-PDCCH region as the DCI mapping region in the specific subframe, but only the PDCCH region as the DCI mapping region.
- the specific subframe described above is a macro ABS.
- PDCCH receiving section 207 does not specify the R-PDCCH region as a detection target resource region (ie, blind decoding target region) in a specific subframe, but only the PDCCH region. Is specified as a detection target resource area.
- the specific subframe described above is a macro ABS.
- the R-PDCCH is most suitable for use in a macro non-ABS where reception quality on the PDCCH is likely to be poor. That is, in the pico cell, even if the R-PDCCH region is not used as the DCI mapping region in the macro ABS, it is considered that the degradation of throughput due to the limited degree of resource allocation is small. Therefore, in the pico cell, in the macro ABS, only the PDCCH is set as the DCI mapping region, and the number of times of blind decoding of the R-PDCCH can be reduced, thereby reducing the false detection rate.
- the PDCCH region is described as the DCI mapping region (or the blind decoding target region).
- the present invention is not limited to this, and the following modifications can be added.
- the R-PDCCH region limited to the R-PDCCH region in the macro non-ABS may be a DCI mapping region (or blind decoding target region). Even in this case, compared with the macro non-ABS, the number of times of blind decoding of the R-PDCCH can be reduced in the macro ABS, so that the false detection rate can be reduced.
- the R-PDCCH region may be a DCI mapping region (or a blind decoding target region).
- the PDCCH region where the interference that the pico terminal receives from the macro cell is difficult to be used as the DCI mapping region (or blind decoding target region). That is, in a macro non-ABS, even if only the R-PDCCH region is used as the DCI mapping region in the macro non-ABS, the degree of freedom of scheduling is hardly affected and the system throughput is hardly deteriorated. That is, the false detection rate can be reduced by reducing the blind decoding frequency of PDCCH in the macro non-ABS without degrading the system throughput.
- a PDCCH region that is more limited than the PDCCH region in the macro ABS may be a DCI mapping region (or blind decoding target region).
- the false detection rate can be reduced.
- ⁇ Modification 4> For example, in the following operation, in the macro non-ABS, only the PDCCH region may be set as a DCI mapping region (or a blind decoding target region).
- the operation is an operation that requires more robust communication in the pico cell (for example, an operation that requires a lower data error rate).
- the PDCCH region is used for the base station 100 to notify the minimum common channel information (broadcast information and Paging information) in the macro non-ABS.
- the number of decoding target unit region candidates constituting the mapping region in the R-PDCCH region is greater than that of a specific subframe (here, macro ABS).
- Subframes other than a specific subframe that is, macro non-ABS may be set smaller.
- the pico base station may explicitly notify the macro terminal and the macro non-ABS to the pico terminal, or may implicitly notify the pico terminal.
- the pico base station may notifies implicitly, two types of subsets may be notified to the terminal as subsets of subframes. Then, the pico terminal may regard the first subset as a non-ABS and regard the second subset as an ABS.
The former is notified from the base station to the terminal as measSubframePattern.
- this embodiment can be combined with the first embodiment. That is, in this case, when the current subframe is a macro ABS, transmission region setting section 131 of base station 100 sets only the PDCCH region as the DCI mapping region even if the PDCCH region scale value is greater than or equal to the threshold value. . Then, when the current subframe is a macro non-ABS, the transmission region setting unit 131 sets the PDCCH region and the R-PDCCH region as the DCI mapping region when the PDCCH region scale value is equal to or greater than the threshold, and the PDCCH region When the scale value is less than the threshold, only the PDCCH region is set as the DCI mapping region.
- the degree of freedom of scheduling that is, DCI mapping
- the R-PDCCH region is not a DCI mapping region (or blind decoding target region) depending on the network operation mode.
- the subframes are different without substantially lowering.
- a subframe subset (hereinafter, sometimes referred to as “subset 1”) in which the R-PDCCH region is set as a DCI mapping region (or blind decoding target region), and R-PDCCH A sub-frame subset (hereinafter, “subset 2”) in which a region is not set as a DCI mapping region (or blind decoding target region) (that is, only a PDCCH region is set as a DCI mapping region (or blind decoding target region)) May be called).
- the basic configurations of the base station and the terminal according to Embodiment 6 are the same as those in Embodiment 1, and will be described with reference to FIGS.
- transmission region setting section 131 sets a plurality of subframe subsets (that is, for example, subframe subset 1 and subframe subset 2 described above) in units of cells. For example, in 10 subframes constituting one frame, subframes 0, 1, 4, 5, 8, and 9 are set as subset 1, and subframes 2, 3, 6, and 7 are set as subset 2. Alternatively, it may be set in units of 4 frames, which are MBSFN subframes or ABS setting units. In this case, there is an effect that an operation equivalent to that of the third to fifth embodiments can be performed according to the network operation mode.
- the transmission region setting unit 131 sets only the PDCCH region as the DCI mapping region without setting the R-PDCCH region as the DCI mapping region. Specifically, if the current subframe is a subframe included in subset 1, transmission region setting section 131 sets only the PDCCH region as the DCI mapping region for all terminals 200. Also, if the current subframe is a subframe included in subset 2, transmission region setting section 131 sets both the PDCCH region and the R-PDCCH region as DCI mapping regions for all terminals 200.
- setting information receiving section 206 extracts subframe setting information from the received signal input from demultiplexing section 205 and outputs the subframe setting information to PDCCH receiving section 207.
- the PDCCH receiving unit 207 determines whether the current subframe (that is, the subframe to be processed) is a subframe included in the subset 1 or the subset 2 based on the subframe setting information. Then, when the current subframe (that is, the subframe to be processed) is subset 1, PDCCH reception section 207 specifies only the PDCCH area as the blind decoding target area. On the other hand, when the current subframe (that is, the subframe to be processed) is subset 2, PDCCH receiving section 207 specifies both the PDCCH region and the R-PDCCH region as blind decoding target regions.
- transmission region setting section 131 sets a plurality of subframe subsets, and in the first subframe subset (here, subset 1), R ⁇ Only the PDCCH region is set as the DCI mapping region without using the PDCCH region as the DCI mapping region.
- PDCCH receiving section 207 in the first subframe subset (here, subset 1), only detects the PDCCH region (ie, the blind decoding target region). ).
- a plurality of subframe subsets can be appropriately set according to the properties of the subframes, etc., and the number of blind decoding times of the terminal can be reduced without substantially reducing the degree of freedom of scheduling. it can. As a result, the false detection rate can be reduced.
- the present invention is not limited to this, and the following modifications can be added.
- an R-PDCCH region that is more limited than the R-PDCCH region in the second subframe subset (here, subset 2)
- a DCI mapping region (or a blind decoding target region) may be used. Even in this case, the number of times of blind decoding of the R-PDCCH can be reduced in the first subframe subset (here, subset 1) compared to the second subframe subset (here, subset 2). Can be reduced.
- the first subframe subset here, subset 1
- only the PDCCH region is set as the DCI mapping region (or blind decoding target region)
- the second subframe subset here, subset 2
- R ⁇ Only the PDCCH region may be a DCI mapping region (or a blind decoding target region).
- the false detection rate can be reduced.
- this since it is not necessary for the terminal to perform blind decoding of both the PDCCH region and the R-PDCCH region within the subframe, this can be realized by a receiving circuit similar to LTE.
- ⁇ Modification 3> The number of times of blind decoding of R-PDCCH and PDCCH (or the amount of DCI mapping area) may be set for each subframe subset. Even in this case, similarly to the above, it is possible to obtain the effect of reducing the false detection rate by reducing the number of times of bride decoding of the terminal.
- the point is that the number of decoding target unit region candidates constituting the mapping region in the R-PDCCH region is other than the specific subframe subset rather than the specific subframe subset. It is sufficient that the subset of is set to be smaller.
- an RNTI such as C-RNTI (Cell-Radio Network Temporary Identifier) may be used as the terminal ID.
- the format independent of the terminal transmission mode has been described as DCI 0 / 1A.
- the format is not limited to this, and any format may be used as long as it does not depend on the terminal transmission mode.
- formats other than DCI 1, 2, 2A, 2B, 2C, 2D, 0A, 0B may be used as DCI depending on the transmission mode.
- continuous band allocation transmission may be included as an uplink or downlink transmission mode.
- the DCI depending on the transmission mode is DCI 0 (uplink) and DCI 1A (downlink), respectively.
- the UE-SS may perform blind decoding for one format each on the uplink and downlink.
- the UE-SS may perform blind decoding for one format each on the uplink and downlink.
- the CCE and R-CCE described in the above embodiments are logical resources.
- CCEs and R-CCEs are allocated to actual physical time / frequency resources, CCEs are distributed over the entire band, and R-CCEs are distributed within a specific RB. Arranged. Further, the effects of the present invention can be obtained in the same manner even with other arrangement methods.
- the present invention is applied to a control channel that is transmitted using a frequency resource that can transmit data, and the same effect can be obtained by applying the present invention even if it is not an R-PDCCH. Obtainable.
- Embodiments 2 to 6 except for a specific subframe (for example, MBSFN subframe), a DCI mapping region is set for both the PDCCH region and the R-PDCCH region for all terminals.
- the present invention is not limited to this. For example, whether or not the R-PDCCH is set as a decoding target area for each terminal is configured in advance, and both the PDCCH area and the R-PDCCH area are set as DCI mapping areas only for the set terminal 200. You may make it do.
- the information on the scale of the PDCCH region has been described as being notified from the base station 100 to the terminal 200 by the PCFICH, but is not limited to this, and channels other than the PCFICH Or you may notify by information.
- the specific subframe in the second embodiment may be TDD special subframe (SS).
- the TDD SS has a gap (non-transmission period) for switching between downlink and uplink. For this reason, the number of REs usable for the R-PDCCH is smaller than that of a normal subframe, and the efficiency of the R-PDCCH is poor. Therefore, it is considered that T-DD SS has little ability to use R-PDCCH. Therefore, in the TDD SS, R-PDCCH blind decoding is not performed, or the number of times of R-PDCCH blind decoding is made smaller than that of a normal subframe. As a result, blind decoding of R-PDCCH can be reduced without substantially limiting the scheduler.
- blind decoding of DCI for DL allocation may not be performed, or the number of times of blind decoding may be reduced.
- the possibility of assigning DL data to SS is small.
- the UL since the DL subframe is limited in the TDD SS, there is a possibility that allocation to another UL subframe may be performed. For this reason, the possibility of UL data allocation in SS is not small. Therefore, in the TDD SS, the blind decoding of the DCI for downlink allocation is not performed, so that the number of times of blind decoding can be reduced without substantially limiting the scheduler.
- Embodiments 2 to 6 whether or not to perform R-PDCCH blind decoding in a specific subframe may be set for each DCI format.
- the third embodiment in the macro cell ABS, in order to avoid interference with the pico cell for the downlink, only uplink data resource allocation may be performed. For this reason, there is a high probability that the R-PDCCH is used for uplink data resource allocation. Therefore, do not perform blind decoding of only the DCI format for allocation of downlink data resources (DCI format 1, 1A, 1B, 1C, 2, 2A, 2B, 2C, 3, 3A), and allocate uplink data resources.
- the blind decoding of the DCI format (DCI format 0, 4) is performed. As a result, the number of times of blind decoding of R-PDCCH can be reduced without substantially restricting scheduling.
- the configuration of the subframe is set in units of cells, but the configuration is not limited to this, and may be set in units of terminals.
- the DMRS in each of the above embodiments may be called a UE-specific reference signal.
- An antenna port refers to a logical antenna composed of one or more physical antennas. That is, the antenna port does not necessarily indicate one physical antenna, but may indicate an array antenna composed of a plurality of antennas.
- 3GPP LTE it is not specified how many physical antennas an antenna port is composed of, but it is specified as a minimum unit in which a base station can transmit different reference signals (Reference signal).
- the antenna port may be defined as a minimum unit for multiplying the weight of a precoding vector (Precoding vector).
- the PDCCH region can also be defined as a resource region in which no data channel is arranged.
- control or notification of the CFI value may be performed dynamically (that is, in units of subframes), or semi-statically (that is, in units of several tens of subframes by notification of higher layers) In)
- the present invention is not limited to this, and it is preset and notified to each terminal whether only the PDCCH region is a blind decoding candidate or both the R-PDCCH and PDCCH are blind decoding candidates. Whether only the R-PDCCH and PDCCH are candidates for blind decoding can be used for blind decoding of R-PDCCH depending on whether the PDCCH region scale value (ie, CFI) is equal to or greater than a threshold value.
- the setting unit whether only the PDCCH region is set as a blind decoding candidate or both the R-PDCCH and the PDCCH are set as blind decoding candidates for each terminal is set in advance, and the control information (RRC information) of the upper layer is set. Each terminal is notified.
- RRC information the control information
- Each terminal is notified.
- control information is transmitted on the R-PDCCH such as a cell edge terminal. Only the terminals that need to perform blind decoding of the R-PDCCH can reduce False Alarm.
- Each functional block used in the description of each of the above embodiments is typically realized as an LSI which is an integrated circuit. These may be individually made into one chip, or may be made into one chip so as to include a part or all of them. Although referred to as LSI here, it may be referred to as IC, system LSI, super LSI, or ultra LSI depending on the degree of integration.
- the method of circuit integration is not limited to LSI, and implementation with a dedicated circuit or a general-purpose processor is also possible.

Abstract
Description
(1)R-PDCCHの時間軸方向のマッピング開始位置は、1サブフレームの先頭から4番目のOFDMシンボルに固定される。これは、PDCCHが時間軸方向に占める割合に依存しない。
(2)各R-PDCCHは、1つまたは連続する複数のR-CCE(Relay-Control Channel Element)で構成されるリソースを占有する。
ただし、実施の形態3では、端末向けR-PDCCHは、DMRS(DeModulation Reference Signal)と共に、基地局から端末へ送信される。
(1)上記各実施の形態において、端末IDとして、C-RNTI(Cell-Radio Network Temporary Identifier)などのRNTIが用いられても良い。
