멀티캐스트 관리 방법 및 장치
본 발명은 멀티캐스트 관리 방법 및 장치에 관한 것이다.
기존의 통신 시스템에서 기지국과 단말 사이 또는 중계기와 단말 사이의 데이터 전송은 유니캐스트 방식, 멀티캐스트 방식 및 브로드캐스트 방식으로 수행된다. 멀티캐스트 및 브로드캐스트 방식의 전송은 주로 멀티캐스트 및 브로드캐스트 서비스(multicast and broadcast service, MBS) 영역에서 정의된다. 비 MBS(non MBS) 영역에서는 다양한 데이터 전송 방식이 정의되나, 효율적인 멀티캐스트 방식의 전송에 대한 정의가 미흡하다.
통신 시스템에서 그룹 콜(group call)이 사용될 수 있다. 예를 들면, 공공 안전, 재난 구조를 위한 지휘 통제용 시스템의 통신 방식에서 그룹 콜이 선호될 수 있다. 그런데 전송 방식 중에서 멀티캐스트 전송이 그룹 콜에 적용될 수 있는데, 기존의 통신 시스템에서 특히 비 MBS 영역에서는 멀티캐스트 기반의 그룹 콜을 사용하는데 제약이 따르며, 이에 따라 멀티캐스트 방식의 전송에 대한 정의가 필요하다.
본 발명의 실시예는 효율적으로 멀티캐스트 전송을 수행할 수 있는 멀티캐스트 관리 방법 및 장치를 제공하기 위한 것이다.
본 발명의 한 실시예에 따르면, 기지국의 멀티캐스트 관리 방법이 제공된다. 상기 멀티캐스트 관리 방법은 복수의 단말을 포함하는 멀티캐스트 그룹의 자원 할당 정보를 포함하는 메시지에 대해서 CRC(cyclic redundancy check)를 생성하는 단계, 상기 CRC를 CRC 마스크로 마스크하는 단계, 상기 마스크된 CRC를 상기 메시지에 부가하는 단계, 그리고 상기 마스크된 CRC가 부가된 상기 메시지를 상기 멀티캐스트 그룹으로 전송하는 단계를 포함한다.
상기 멀티캐스트 관리 방법은 상기 멀티캐스트 그룹의 식별자(multicast group identifier, MGID)를 사용하여 상기 CRC 마스크를 생성하는 단계를 더 포함할 수 있다.
이때, 상기 CRC 마스크의 일부 비트가 상기 MGID를 포함할 수 있다. 또는 상기 CRC 마스크의 일부 비트가 상기 MGID의 일부 비트를 포함할 수 있다.
상기 멀티캐스트 관리 방법은 상기 멀티캐스트 그룹의 멀티캐스트 그룹 연결의 식별자(multicast group connection identifier, MGCID)를 사용하여 상기 CRC 마스크를 생성하는 단계를 더 포함할 수 있다.
이때, 상기 MGCID는 상기 MGID와 상기 멀티캐스트 그룹 내에서 흐름을 식별하는 흐름 식별자의 조합일 수 있다.

본 발명의 또 다른 실시예에 따르면, 멀티캐스트 관리 장치가 제공된다. 상기 멀티캐스트 관리 장치는, 복수의 단말을 포함하는 멀티캐스트 그룹을 관리하는 멀티캐스트 그룹 관리부, 상기 멀티캐스트 그룹의 자원 할당 정보를 포함하는 메시지에 대한 CRC를 CRC 마스크로 마스크하는 CRC 처리부, 그리고 상기 마스크된 CRC가 부가된 상기 메시지를 상기 멀티캐스트 그룹으로 전송하는 송수신부를 포함한다.
상기 CRC 처리부는 MGID를 사용하여 상기 CRC 마스크를 생성할 수 있다.
상기 CRC 처리부는 상기 멀티캐스트 그룹의 MGCID를 사용하여 상기 CRC 마스크를 생성할 수 있다.
본 발명의 또 다른 실시예에 따르면, 단말의 멀티캐스트 관리 장치가 제공된다. 상기 멀티캐스트 관리 장치는 CRC 마스크를 처리하는 CRC 처리부, 그리고 기지국으로부터 상기 단말이 속한 멀티캐스트 그룹과 관련된 자원 할당 정보를 포함하는 메시지를 수신하고, 상기 메시지를 상기 CRC 마스크로 식별하는 송수신부를 포함한다.
상기 CRC 마스크는 MGID를 사용하여 생성될 수 있다.
상기 CRC 마스크는 상기 멀티캐스트 그룹의 MGCID를 사용하여 생성될 수 있다.
본 발명의 한 실시예에 따르면 동일한 그룹에 속한 단말은 멀티캐스트 방식으로 트래픽을 수신할 수 있으므로, MBS 존이 아닌 영역에서도 멀티캐스트 기반의 그룹 콜을 수행할 수 있다.
본 발명의 다른 실시예에 따르면, 멀티캐스트 그룹 식별자 또는 멀티캐스트 그룹 연결 식별자를 사용하여 생성된 CRC 마스크로 멀티캐스트 그룹 또는 멀티캐스트 그룹 연결을 식별할 수 있으므로, 멀티캐스트 그룹별로 또는 멀티캐스트 그룹 연결별로 자원을 할당할 수 있다.

아래에서는 첨부한 도면을 참고로 하여 본 발명의 실시예에 대하여 본 발명이 속하는 기술 분야에서 통상의 지식을 가진 자가 용이하게 실시할 수 있도록 상세히 설명한다. 그러나 본 발명은 여러 가지 상이한 형태로 구현될 수 있으며 여기에서 설명하는 실시예에 한정되지 않는다. 그리고 도면에서 본 발명을 명확하게 설명하기 위해서 설명과 관계없는 부분은 생략하였으며, 명세서 전체를 통하여 유사한 부분에 대해서는 유사한 도면 부호를 붙였다.
명세서 전체에서, 단말(terminal)은 이동 단말(mobile terminal, MT), 이동국(mobile station, MS), 가입자국(subscriber station, SS), 휴대 가입자국(portable subscriber station, PSS), 접근 단말(access terminal, AT), 사용자 장비(user equipment, UE) 등을 지칭할 수도 있고, MT, MS, SS, PSS, AT, UE 등의 전부 또는 일부의 기능을 포함할 수도 있다.
또한, 기지국(base station, BS)은 노드B(node B), 고도화 노드B(evolved node B, eNodeB), 접근점(access point, AP), 무선 접근국(radio access station, RAS), 송수신 기지국(base transceiver station, BTS), MMR(mobile multihop relay)-BS, 기지국 역할을 수행하는 중계기(relay station, RS) 등을 지칭할 수도 있고, 노드B, eNodeB, AP, RAS, BTS, MMR-BS, RS 등의 전부 또는 일부의 기능을 포함할 수도 있다.
도 1은 본 발명의 한 실시예에 따른 통신 시스템을 나타내는 도면이다.
본 발명의 한 실시예에 따른 통신 시스템은 그룹 콜을 위해서 사용된다. 그룹 콜에서는, 복수의 사용자에서 호가 진행되고, 동일한 트래픽이 사용자 그룹 내에 전송된다. 이때, 트래픽은 적어도 하나의 인프라스트럭쳐 스테이션(infrastructure station)을 거쳐 사용자 그룹으로 전송된다. 이러한 인프라스트럭쳐 스테이션으로 기지국과 중계기가 사용될 수 있으며, 아래에서는 기지국을 예로 들어서 설명한다. 기지국에서 동일 그룹의 사용자에게 트래픽을 전송하는 방법은 2가지로 구별될 수 있다. 한 방법은 사용자별로 연결을 설정하고 사용자별 연결로 트래픽을 전송하는 방법이다. 이 방법은 사용자별 연결을 활용하는 장점이 있으나, 기지국 내에 사용자의 수가 증가함에 따라서 요구되는 사용자별 연결의 수가 비례하여 증가한다. 즉, 동일한 트래픽을 다른 연결을 활용하여 전송하므로 무선 자원을 비효율적으로 사용한다. 다른 방법은 사용자 그룹에 멀티캐스트 연결을 설정하고, 이 연결을 한 기지국에 속해 있는 그룹 내 사용자에게 설정하는 방법이다. 멀티캐스트 연결로 전송되는 트래픽은 그룹 내 사용자들이 수신한다.
도 1을 참고하면, 그룹 콜을 위해서 PTT 서버(110) 등의 상위 노드에서 적어도 하나의 기지국(121, 122)까지 멀티캐스트 방식으로 트래픽이 전송된다. 이때, PTT 서버(110)와 기지국(121, 122)은 라우터(130), 제어국(140) 등을 통해서 연결될 수 있다. 기지국(121, 122)은 무선 접속 구간에서 멀티캐스트 연결을 설정하고, 사용자 그룹(150) 중에서 자신의 영역에 속한 단말(151-154, 155-158)로 트래픽을 멀티캐스트 방식으로 전송한다. 또한 다른 사용자 그룹(160)이 존재하는 경우, 기지국(121, 122)은 해당 사용자 그룹(160) 중에서 자신의 영역에 속한 단말(161-163, 164-166)로 트래픽을 멀티캐스트 방식으로 전송한다.
이와 같이, 본 발명의 한 실시예에 따르면, 동일한 그룹에 속한 단말은 멀티캐스트 방식으로 트래픽을 수신할 수 있으므로, MBS 존이 아닌 영역에서도 그룹 콜을 수행할 수 있다.
다음 멀티캐스트 전송을 위한 사용자 그룹 또는 사용자 그룹의 연결을 식별하는 방법에 대해서 도 2 및 도 3을 참고하여 설명한다.
도 2는 본 발명의 한 실시예에 따른 멀티캐스트 그룹 식별 방법을 나타내는 도면이다.
도 2를 참고하면, 기지국(210)은 멀티캐스트 전송을 위해 동일한 사용자 그룹, 즉 멀티캐스트 그룹(220, 230, 240)에 동일한 식별자(MGID_A, MGID_B, MGID_C)를 부여한다. 이러한 식별자를 멀티캐스트 그룹 식별자(multicast group identifier, MGID)라 한다. MGID는 기지국(210)의 매체 접근 제어(medium access control, MAC) 계층에서 유일하게 할당되고, 유한한 크기를 가진다. MGID는 할당된 자원을 해당 멀티캐스트 그룹에게 알리는 식별자로 사용된다. MGID는 자원 할당 정보를 전송하는 하향링크 제어 정보(downlink control structure)의 정보 요소(information element, IE), 예를 들면 MAP IE에서 사용되어, 멀티캐스트 그룹별로 정보가 전송될 수 있다. 다른 실시예에 따르면, MGID는 기지국(210)보다 상위 노드, 예를 들면 PTT 서버(도 1의 110)에 의해 부여될 수도 있다. 또 다른 실시예에 따르면, 사전에 약속된 방식에 의해 단말에 MGID가 미리 부여될 수도 있다.
기지국(210)은 MGID와 별도로 연결을 구별하기 위한 흐름 식별자(flow identifier, FID)를 사용한다. FID는 MAC 계층에서 정의되며, 예를 들면 IEEE 802.16m 표준에서 정의되는 향상된 일반 MAC 헤더(advanced generic MAC header, AGMH)에 포함될 수 있다. 기지국(210)은 각 MGID에 FID(FID0, FID1)를 할당하여서 MGID 내에서 연결을 유일하게 식별할 수 있다. FID는 MGID 내에서 신호 또는 트래픽 연결을 식별하기 유일한 식별자이므로, 멀티캐스트 그룹의 특정 연결은 MGID와 FID의 조합(MGID+FID)으로 이루어진 식별자에 의해 기지국(210) 내에서 식별된다. 다른 실시예에 따르면, 사전에 약속된 방식에 의해 단말에 FID가 미리 부여될 수도 있다.
도 3은 본 발명의 다른 실시예에 따른 멀티캐스트 그룹 연결 식별 방법을 나타내는 도면이다.
도 3을 참고하면, 기지국(310)은 멀티캐스트 그룹(320, 330, 340)의 연결별로 식별자를 부여한다. 이러한 식별자를 멀티캐스트 그룹 연결 식별자(multicast group connection identifier, MGCID)라 한다. MGCID는 기지국(310)의 MAC 계층에서 연결을 식별하기 위하여 유일하게 할당되고, 유한한 크기를 가진다. 도 3의 예에서는 멀티캐스트 그룹(320)의 두 멀티캐스트 그룹 연결에 각각 MGCID0와 MGCID1이, 멀티캐스트 그룹(330)의 두 멀티캐스트 그룹 연결에 각각 MGCID2와 MGCID3이, 멀티캐스트 그룹(340)의 두 멀티캐스트 그룹 연결에 각각 MGCID4와 MGCID5가 MGCID로 할당된다. 다른 실시예에 따르면, MGCID는 기지국(310)보다 상위 노드, 예를 들면 PTT 서버(도 1의 110)에 의해 부여되거나, 사전에 약속된 방식에 의해서 부여될 수도 있다.
멀티캐스트 그룹 연결은 사용자 그룹, 즉 멀티캐스트 그룹이 공유하는 연결이며, MGCID로 기지국 내에서 유일하게 식별된다. 멀티캐스트 그룹 연결에 할당된 자원은 MGCID를 통해 멀티캐스트 그룹에 알릴 수 있다. 이 경우 도 2와 달리 멀티캐스트 그룹 연결 식별을 위해서 FID를 사용하지 않는다. 그러므로 예를 들면 IEEE 802.16m 표준의 AGMH에 정의된 FID는 다른 용도로 전용될 수 있다. 또는 AGMH에서 FID에 해당하는 필드를 삭제하여 크기가 감소된 AGMH를 정의할 수도 있다.
도 4는 본 발명의 한 실시예에 따른 멀티캐스크 그룹을 위한 순환 중복 검사(cyclic redundancy check, CRC) 마스크 설정 방법을 나타내는 도면이다.
도 4를 참고하면, 기지국(410)은 맵(MAP)의 MAP IE를 통해 자원 할당 정보를 단말로 전송한다. 예를 들면 MAP으로 할당(assignment) A-MAP(advanced MAP)이 사용될 수 있다. 할당 A-MAP은 여러 종류의 할당 A-MAP IE로 분류된다. 기지국(410)은 각 할당 A-MAP IE에 대해서 CRC를 생성하고(S430), 생성한 CRC를 CRC 마스크로 마스크한다(S450). 그리고 기지국(410)은 마스크된 CRC를 할당 A-MAP IE에 부가한 후(S460), 할당 A-MAP IE를 멀티캐스트 그룹(420)으로 전송한다(S470). 예를 들면 기지국(410)은 16비트 CRC를 생성하고, 생성한 CRC를 16비트 CRC 마스크와 비트별(bitwise) XOR(exclusive OR) 연산을 수행하여서 CRC를 마스크할 수 있다. 멀티캐스트 그룹(420)의 각 단말(421)은 할당 A-MAP IE를 CRC 마스크로 식별한다(S480).
기지국(410)이 멀티캐스트 그룹(420)에 할당 A-MAP IE를 전송하는 경우, MGID로 CRC 마스크를 생성한다(S440). CRC 마스크는 마스킹 프리픽스(masking prefix)와 나머지 비트를 포함할 수 있으며, CRC 마스크가 16 비트인 경우 1 비트의 마스킹 프리픽스와 나머지 15 비트로 형성될 수 있다. 그리고 마스킹 프리픽스가 소정 값, 예를 들면 0, 즉 "0b0"인 경우, 나머지 비트는 메시지 타입 지시자(message type indicator)와 마스킹 코드(masking code)로 형성될 수 있다. 나머지 비트가 15 비트인 경우 메시지 타입 지시자와 마스킹 코드는 각각 3 비트와 12 비트일 수 있다. 멀티캐스트 그룹에 전송되는 할당 A-MAP IE의 경우 MGID를 포함하는 마스팅 코드와 특정 값을 가지는 메시지 타입 지시자로 나머지 비트를 구현할 수 있다. 예를 들면, 3 비트의 메시지 타입 지시자를 "0b010"으로 설정하고, 마스킹 코드를 MGID로 설정할 수 있다. 이때 MGID가 12 비트보다 큰 경우, 마스킹 코드를 MGID의 최소 12 비트, 즉 12 비트 LSB(least significant bit)로 설정할 수 있다.
다른 실시예로, MGID의 비트를 분할하여 일부를 메시지 타입 지시자에 사용하고 나머지 일부를 마스킹 코드에 사용할 수도 있다. 예를 들면, MGID가 13 비트인 경우, LSB 12 비트를 마스킹 코드에 사용하고, 최대 1 비트, 즉 MSB(most significant bit) 1 비트를 메시지 타입 지시자에 사용할 수 있다.
다른 실시예로, 멀티캐스트 그룹 연결에 할당 A-MAP IE를 전송하는 경우, 앞서 설명한 방법에서 MGID를 MGCID로 대체하여서 CRC 마스크를 생성할 수 있다. 이때, MGCID는 도 2을 참고로 설명한 것처럼 MGID와 FID의 조합이거나 도 3을 참고로 설명한 것처럼 별도로 부여된 식별자일 수 있다.
이와 같이 도 2 내지 도 4를 참고로 하여 설명한 실시예에 따르면, MAC 계층에서 유일한 MGID 또는 MGCID를 사용하여 생성된 CRC 마스크로 멀티캐스트 그룹 또는 멀티캐스트 그룹 연결을 식별할 수 있으므로, 멀티캐스트 그룹별로 또는 멀티캐스트 그룹 연결별로 자원을 할당할 수 있다.
다음 표 1 내지 표 3을 참고로 하여 멀티캐스트 그룹을 위한 할당 A-MAP IE에 대해서 설명한다.
본 발명의 한 실시예에 따르면, 기지국은 유니캐스트 전송을 위해서 정의된 MAP IE를 멀티캐스트 전송을 위해서 사용한다. 예를 들면 기지국은 하향링크(downlink, DL) 기본 할당 A-MAP IE(DL Basic Assignment A-MAP IE), DL 부대역 할당 A-MAP IE(DL Subband Assignment A-MAP IE), DL 지속 할당 A-MAP IE(DL Persistent Allocation A-MAP IE), 그룹 자원 할당 A-MAP IE(Group Resource Allocation A-MAP IE) 등의 할당 A-MAP IE를 멀티캐스트 전송에 재사용한다. 할당 A-MAP IE의 재사용은 기존 할당 A-MAP IE의 필드의 구성과 크기를 동일하게 사용하는 것을 의미한다. 그리고 기지국은 각 할당 A-MAP IE가 포함하는 정보를 멀티캐스트 그룹 또는 멀티캐스트 그룹 연결과 연관시키기 위해서, 앞서 설명한 것처럼 MGID 또는 MGCID를 CRC 마스크에 사용한다.
기지국은 멀티캐스트 그룹 또는 멀티캐스트 그룹 연결에 할당된 자원의 정보를 DL 기본 할당 A-MAP IE를 통해 전송할 수 있다. 단말은 DL 기본 할당 A-MAP IE를 CRC 마스크로 식별한다. DL 기본 할당 A-MAP IE는 표 1과 같이 정의될 수 있으며, 각 필드는 예를 들면 IEEE 802.16m 표준에서 정의된 필드와 동일한 의미를 가질 수 있다.

도 5 및 도 5는 각각 본 발명의 한 실시예에 따른 멀티캐스트 그룹 연결의 관리 방법을 나타내는 신호 흐름도이다.
도 5를 참고하면, 기지국(510)은 사용자 그룹에 멀티캐스트 그룹 연결을 관리하기 위해서 유니캐스트 전송을 사용한다. 즉, 기지국(510)은 사용자 그룹의 각 단말(521)과 멀티캐스트 그룹 연결을 관리하기 위한 신호를 주고받는다. 멀티캐스트 그룹 연결의 관리는 멀티캐스트 그룹 연결의 추가, 멀티캐스트 그룹 연결의 변경 및 멀티캐스트 그룹 연결의 해제 중 적어도 하나를 포함한다. 예를 들면, 기지국(510)은 흐름(flow)을 관리하는 DSx 신호 절차를 사용하여서 멀티캐스트 그룹 연결을 관리할 수 있다. 다른 실시예에 따르면, 도 5와 달리 멀티캐스트 그룹 연결 관리를 단말(521)에서 시작할 수 있다. 도 6에 도시한 것처럼 단말(521)이 기지국(510)으로 DSx-REQ 메시지를 전송함으로써 멀티캐스트 그룹 연결 관리를 단말(521)에서 시작할 수 있다. 그러면 DSx-REQ에 대한 응답으로 기지국(510)이 단말(521)로 DSx-RSP 메시지를 전송하고, 단말(521)이 DSx-ACK 메시지를 기지국(510)으로 전송한다.
다른 실시예에 따르면, MGCID 대신 MGID와 FID로 멀티캐스트 그룹과 해당 멀티캐스트 그룹 내에서의 흐름, 즉 연결을 관리할 수 있다. 즉, FID를 필드로 포함하는 각 DSx 메시지가 멀티캐스그 그룹의 식별을 위해 MGID를 필드로 더 포함한다. 이에 따라 기지국(510) 및 단말(521)은 MGID로 멀티캐스트 그룹을 식별하고 FID로 흐름을 식별한다. DSA 메시지는 멀티캐스트 그룹이 할당되지 않는 경우에 멀티캐스트 그룹을 할당하고 멀티캐스트 그룹 내 흐름을 추가할 때 사용된다. 그리고 DSD 메시지는 MGID가 지칭하는 멀티캐스트 그룹을 단말(521)에서 해제할 때 사용된다. 이때 흐름을 식별할 필요가 없으므로 FID는 0의 값을 가질 수 있다.
이와 같이 도 5 및 도 6을 참고로 하여 설명한 실시예에 따르면, 유니캐스트 방식의 DSx 신호 절차를 통해서 멀티캐스트 그룹 연결을 정의하여서 멀티캐스트 그룹의 단말에 연결을 제공할 수 있다.
다음 도 7 및 도 8을 참고로 하여 본 발명의 한 실시예에 따른 멀티캐스트 그룹의 관리 방법에 대해서 설명한다.

다른 실시예에 따르면, 도 7과 달리 멀티캐스트 그룹 연결 관리를 단말(621)에서 시작할 수 있다. 즉, 도 8에 도시한 것처럼 단말(621)이 기지국(610)으로 MGx-REQ 메시지를 전송함으로써 멀티캐스트 그룹 연결 관리를 단말(621)에서 시작할 수 있다. 그러면 기지국(610)이 단말(621)로 MGx-RSP 메시지를 전송하고, 단말(621)이 MGx-ACK 메시지를 기지국(610)으로 전송한다.
멀티캐스트 그룹의 관리로 멀티캐스트 그룹을 할당한 후에, 기지국(610)은 멀티캐스트 그룹 내 흐름, 즉 멀티캐스트 그룹 연결을 관리하기 위해서 유니캐스트 전송을 사용할 수 있다. 이때, 유니캐스트 신호 방법으로 DSx 신호 절차가 사용될 수 있다. 이를 위해, 각 DSx 메시지에 MGID 필드가 추가된다. 그리고 흐름 연결을 식별하기 위한 FID는 멀티캐스트 그룹에서 설정된다.
그러면 단말(621)은 MAP, 예를 들면 할당 A-MAP을 MGID로 생성된 CRC 마스크를 사용하여 수신하고, MAP을 통해 확인한 할당 자원 정보를 통해 버스트를 수신한다. 그리고 단말(621)은 수신한 버스트에서 헤더, 예를 들면 AGMH 내에 포함된 FID를 사용하여 흐름을 식별한다.
한편 효율성을 위하여 멀티캐스트 그룹을 할당하는 절차 없이, 앞서 설명한 것처럼 DSx 메시지로 멀티캐스트 그룹과 흐름을 관리할 수도 있다.
이와 같이 도 7 및 도 8을 참고로 하여 설명한 실시예에 따르면, 유니캐스트 방식의 MGx 신호 절차를 통해서 단말에 멀티캐스트 그룹을 할당하거나 단말의 멀티캐스트 그룹을 변경 또는 해제할 수 있다.

멀티캐스트 방식으로 전송되는 DSx-CMD 메시지는 해당 멀티캐스트 그룹의 MGID에 할당된 자원을 통해 전송될 수 있다. 이 경우, DSx-CMD 메시지는 MGID를 별도로 포함하지 않을 수 있다.
DSD-CMD 메시지에 포함된 FID가 신호 메시지, 예를 들면 해당 DSD-CMD 메시지가 전송되는 흐름의 식별자이면, DSD-CMD 메시지에 의해 멀티캐스트 그룹이 해제될 수도 있다.
이와 같이 도 9를 참고로 하여 설명한 실시예에 따르면 멀티캐스트 방식의 DSx-CMD 메시지를 통해 멀티캐스트 그룹 내 흐름을 관리하므로, 신호 전송의 효율성을 증가시킬 수 있다.

송수신부(910)는 단말이 속한 멀티캐스트 그룹 연결의 관리를 위해 기지국과 DSx 절차를 수행하거나, 멀티캐스트 그룹의 관리를 위해 기지국과 MGx 신호 절차를 수행한다. 또는 송수신부(910)는 멀티캐스트 그룹 내의 흐름을 관리하기 위한 DSx-CMD 메시지를 기지국으로부터 수신한다. 또한 송수신부(910)는 기지국으로부터 전송되는 MAP(할당 A-MAP)을 수신하여 단말이 속한 멀티캐스트 그룹의 자원 할당 정보를 획득한다.
CRC 처리부(920)는 단말이 속한 멀티캐스트 그룹의 MGID 또는 멀티캐스트 그룹 연결의 MGCID를 사용하여 CRC 마스크를 생성한다. 송수신부(910)는 CRC 마스크를 사용하여 기지국으로부터 전송되는 MAP을 식별한다.
이상에서 본 발명의 실시예에 대하여 상세하게 설명하였지만 본 발명의 권리범위는 이에 한정되는 것은 아니고 다음의 청구범위에서 정의하고 있는 본 발명의 기본 개념을 이용한 당업자의 여러 변형 및 개량 형태 또한 본 발명의 권리범위에 속하는 것이다.

Claims (33)

  1. 기지국의 멀티캐스트 관리 방법으로서,
    복수의 단말을 포함하는 멀티캐스트 그룹의 자원 할당 정보를 포함하는 메시지에 대해서 CRC(cyclic redundancy check)를 생성하는 단계,
    상기 CRC를 CRC 마스크로 마스크하는 단계,
    상기 마스크된 CRC를 상기 메시지에 부가하는 단계, 그리고
    상기 마스크된 CRC가 부가된 상기 메시지를 상기 멀티캐스트 그룹으로 전송하는 단계
    를 포함하는 멀티캐스트 관리 방법.
  2. 제1항에서,
    상기 멀티캐스트 그룹의 식별자(multicast group identifier, MGID)를 사용하여 상기 CRC 마스크를 생성하는 단계를 더 포함하는 멀티캐스트 관리 방법.
  3. 제2항에서,
    상기 CRC 마스크의 일부 비트가 상기 MGID를 포함하는 멀티캐스트 관리 방법.
  4. 제2항에서,
    상기 CRC 마스크의 일부 비트가 상기 MGID의 일부 비트를 포함하는 멀티캐스트 관리 방법.
  5. 제1항에서,
    상기 멀티캐스트 그룹의 멀티캐스트 그룹 연결의 식별자(multicast group connection identifier, MGCID)를 사용하여 상기 CRC 마스크를 생성하는 단계를 더 포함하는 멀티캐스트 관리 방법.
  6. 제5항에서,
    상기 MGCID는 상기 멀티캐스트 그룹의 식별자와 상기 멀티캐스트 그룹 내에서 흐름을 식별하는 흐름 식별자의 조합인 멀티캐스트 관리 방법.
  7. 제1항에서,
    상기 멀티캐스트 그룹을 관리하기 위한 신호 메시지를 상기 멀티캐스트 그룹의 각 단말로 유니캐스트 방식으로 전송하는 단계를 더 포함하는 멀티캐스트 관리 방법.
  8. 제7항에서,
    상기 신호 메시지는 상기 멀티캐스트 그룹의 식별자를 포함하는 멀티캐스트 관리 방법.
  9. 제7항에서,
    상기 신호 메시지는 상기 멀티캐스트 그룹의 추가, 변경 및 해제 중 적어도 하나를 포함하는 멀티캐스트 관리 방법.
  10. 제7항에서,
    상기 각 단말로부터 상기 신호 메시지에 대한 응답 메시지를 수신하는 단계를 더 포함하는 멀티캐스트 관리 방법.
  11. 제7항에서,
    상기 각 단말로부터 상기 신호 메시지에 대한 요청 메시지를 수신하는 단계를 더 포함하며,
    상기 신호 메시지는 상기 요청 메시지에 대한 응답 메시지인 멀티캐스트 관리 방법.
  12. 제1항에서,
    상기 멀티캐스트 그룹의 흐름을 관리하기 위한 신호 메시지를 상기 멀티캐스트 그룹의 복수의 단말로 멀티캐스트 방식으로 전송하는 단계를 더 포함하는 멀티캐스트 관리 방법.
  13. 제12항에서,
    상기 신호 메시지는 상기 흐름의 식별자를 포함하는 멀티캐스트 관리 방법.
  14. 제13항에서,
    상기 신호 메시지는 상기 멀티캐스트 그룹에 할당된 자원을 통해서 전송되는 멀티캐스트 관리 방법.
  15. 제1항에서,
    상기 멀티캐스트 그룹의 멀티캐스트 그룹 연결을 관리하기 위한 신호 메시지를 상기 멀티캐스트 그룹의 각 단말로 유니캐스트 방식으로 전송하는 단계를 더 포함하는 멀티캐스트 관리 방법.
  16. 제15항에서,
    상기 신호 메시지는 상기 멀티캐스트 그룹 연결의 식별자를 포함하는 멀티캐스트 관리 방법.
  17. 단말의 멀티캐스트 관리 방법으로서,
    기지국으로부터 상기 단말이 속한 멀티캐스트 그룹과 관련된 자원 할당 정보를 포함하는 메시지를 수신하는 단계, 그리고
    CRC(cyclic redundancy check) 마스크로 상기 메시지를 식별하는 단계
    를 포함하는 멀티캐스트 관리 방법.
  18. 제17항에서,
    상기 메시지는 상기 CRC 마스크로 마스크된 CRC를 포함하는 멀티캐스트 관리 방법.
  19. 제18항에서,
    상기 자원 할당 정보는 상기 멀티캐스트 그룹의 자원 할당 정보이며,
    상기 CRC 마스크는 상기 멀티캐스트 그룹의 식별자(multicast group identifier, MGID)에 의해 생성되는
    멀티캐스트 관리 방법.
  20. 제18항에서,
    상기 자원 할당 정보는 상기 멀티캐스트 그룹의 멀티캐스트 그룹 연결의 자원 할당 정보이며,
    상기 CRC 마스크는 상기 멀티캐스트 그룹 연결의 식별자(multicast group connection identifier, MGCID)에 의해 생성되는
    멀티캐스트 관리 방법.
  21. 제20항에서,
    상기 MGCID는 상기 멀티캐스트 그룹의 식별자와 상기 멀티캐스트 그룹 내에서 흐름을 식별하는 흐름 식별자의 조합인 멀티캐스트 관리 방법.
  22. 제17항에서,
    상기 기지국으로부터 유니캐스트 방식으로 전송되는 상기 멀티캐스트 그룹을 관리하기 위한 신호 메시지를 수신하는 단계를 더 포함하는 멀티캐스트 관리 방법.
  23. 제22항에서,
    상기 신호 메시지는 상기 멀티캐스트 그룹의 식별자를 포함하는 멀티캐스트 관리 방법.
  24. 제17항에서,
    상기 기지국으로부터 멀티캐스트 방식으로 전송되는 상기 멀티캐스트 그룹의 흐름을 관리하기 위한 신호 메시지를 수신하는 단계를 더 포함하는 멀티캐스트 관리 방법.
  25. 제24항에서,
    상기 신호 메시지는 상기 흐름의 식별자를 포함하는 멀티캐스트 관리 방법.
  26. 제17항에서,
    상기 기지국으로부터 유니캐스트 방식으로 전송되는 상기 멀티캐스트 그룹의 멀티캐스트 그룹 연결을 관리하기 위한 신호 메시지를 수신하는 단계를 더 포함하는 멀티캐스트 관리 방법.
  27. 제26항에서,
    상기 신호 메시지는 상기 멀티캐스트 그룹 연결의 식별자를 포함하는 멀티캐스트 관리 방법.
  28. 복수의 단말을 포함하는 멀티캐스트 그룹을 관리하는 멀티캐스트 그룹 관리부,
    상기 멀티캐스트 그룹의 자원 할당 정보를 포함하는 메시지에 대한 CRC를 CRC 마스크로 마스크하는 CRC 처리부, 그리고
    상기 마스크된 CRC가 부가된 상기 메시지를 상기 멀티캐스트 그룹으로 전송하는 송수신부
    를 포함하는 멀티캐스트 관리 장치.
  29. 제28항에서,
    상기 CRC 처리부는 상기 멀티캐스트 그룹의 식별자(multicast group identifier, MGID)를 사용하여 상기 CRC 마스크를 생성하는 멀티캐스트 관리 장치.
  30. 제28항에서,
    상기 CRC 처리부는 상기 멀티캐스트 그룹의 멀티캐스트 그룹 연결의 식별자(multicast group connection identifier, MGCID)를 사용하여 상기 CRC 마스크를 생성하는 멀티캐스트 관리 장치.
  31. 단말의 멀티캐스트 관리 장치로서,
    CRC(cyclic redundancy check) 마스크를 처리하는 CRC 처리부, 그리고
    기지국으로부터 상기 단말이 속한 멀티캐스트 그룹과 관련된 자원 할당 정보를 포함하는 메시지를 수신하고, 상기 메시지를 상기 CRC 마스크로 식별하는 송수신부
    를 포함하는 멀티캐스트 관리 장치.
  32. 제31항에서,
    상기 CRC 마스크는 상기 멀티캐스트 그룹의 식별자(multicast group identifier, MGID)를 사용하여 생성되는 멀티캐스트 관리 장치.
  33. 제31항에서,
    상기 CRC 마스크는 상기 멀티캐스트 그룹의 멀티캐스트 그룹 연결의 식별자(multicast group connection identifier, MGCID)를 사용하여 생성되는 멀티캐스트 관리 장치.
