Abstract

본 발명은 미디어 전송 스트림을 IP(Internet Protocol) 기반의 전송 시스템을 이용하여 송수신하는 방법 및 장치에 관한 것으로, 그 송신 방법은 송신하고자 하는 미디어 전송 스트림 중 일부 데이터를 제거하는 단계; 제거된 데이터를 미디어 전송 스트림에 재삽입하기 위한 정보를 포함하는 적어도 하나의 엔트리 박스를 구성하는 단계; 데이터가 제거된 미디어 전송 스트림을 포함하는 엠닷(mdat) 박스를 구성하는 단계; 및 적어도 하나의 엔트리 박스를 포함하는 압축 정보 박스를 엠닷 박스 이전에 위치시켜 전송하는 단계를 포함한다.
