Abstract

直下型の照明装置において、反射シートの浮きを防止ないし抑制できる技術を提供する。本発明に係る直下型のバックライト装置は、LED基板30と、LED基板30の表面に配されたLED光源28と、LED光源28の光出射側を覆うと共に、LED光源28からの光を拡散するレンズ部材32と、LED基板30の表面に配され、レンズ部材32を支持する3つの脚部31a、31b、31cと、LED基板30の表面側に配され、貫通孔27を有する反射シート26とを備えている。LED光源28と3つの脚部31a、31b、31cは、反射シート26の貫通孔27を貫通している。反射シート26は、貫通孔27の縁部27aから貫通孔27の内側に突出する3つの突出部26a、26b、26cを有している。3つの突出部26a、26b、26cは、3つの脚部31a、31b、31cの間にそれぞれ収容されている。

Description

照明装置、表示装置及びテレビ受信装置
 本発明は、照明装置、表示装置及びテレビ受信装置に関する。
 近年、テレビ受信装置をはじめとする画像表示装置の表示素子は、従来のブラウン管から液晶パネルやプラズマディスプレイパネルなどの薄型表示素子を適用した薄型表示装置に移行しつつあり、画像表示装置の薄型化を可能としている。液晶表示装置は、これに用いる液晶パネルが自発光しないため、別途に照明装置としてバックライト装置を必要としている。
 バックライト装置として、液晶パネルに対してその背面から光を直接供給する直下型のバックライト装置が知られている。このようなバックライト装置では、LED等の光源が配された基板上に反射シートが配されることがある。
 特許文献1に、LED光源が配された基板上に反射シートが配された直下型のバックライト装置が開示されている。このバックライト装置は、LED光源と、複数のLED光源が配された基板と、LED光源の出光面側に対向して配される拡散板と、基板上に配された複数のスペーサと、基板上に載置される反射シートとを備えている。反射シートには、複数の貫通孔が設けられており、基板上に配された光源とスペーサは貫通孔を貫通している。このバックライト装置では、複数のスペーサによって基板と拡散板との間の距離を一定に保つことにより、バックライト装置の表示面の輝度ムラを防止ないし抑制することができる。

(発明が解決しようとする課題)
 しかしながら、特許文献1に記載のバックライト装置では、LED光源の近傍に発生する熱や反射シートの位置ずれ等によって反射シートの一部に浮きが生じる場合がある。この場合、LED光源からの光が反射シートによって遮蔽され、バックライト装置の表示性能が低下する虞がある。
 本発明は、上記の課題に鑑みて創作されたものである。本発明は、直下型の照明装置において、反射シートの浮きを防止ないし抑制できる技術を提供することを目的とする。
(課題を解決するための手段)
 本明細書で開示される技術は、光源基板と、該光源基板の第1主面に配された光源と、前記光源の光出射側を覆うと共に、前記光源からの光を拡散するレンズ部材と、前記光源基板の前記第1主面に配され、前記レンズ部材を支持する複数の支持部材と、前記光源基板の第1主面側に配され、貫通孔を有する反射シートと、前記光源基板の第2主面と対向する底板を有し、前記光源基板と前記光源と前記レンズ部材と複数の前記支持部材と前記反射シートとを収容する収容部材と、を備え、前記光源と複数の前記支持部材は、前記反射シートの前記貫通孔を貫通しており、前記反射シートは、前記貫通孔の縁部から該貫通孔の内側に突出する突出部を有し、前記突出部は、複数の前記支持部材の間に収容されている照明装置に関する。
 上記の照明装置によると、突出部が複数の支持部材の間に収容されることにより、突出部が光源基板とレンズ部材との間に係止される。このため、反射シートの浮きを防止ないし抑制することができる。
 本明細書で開示される技術の他の態様は、光源基板と、該光源基板の第1主面側に配された光源と、前記光源基板の前記第1主面に配され、前記光源を支持する複数の支持部材と、前記光源基板の第1主面側に配され、貫通孔を有する反射シートと、前記光源基板の第2主面と対向する底板を有し、前記光源基板と前記光源と複数の前記支持部材と前記反射シートとを収容する収容部材と、を備え、複数の前記支持部材は、前記反射シートの前記貫通孔を貫通しており、前記反射シートは、前記貫通孔の縁部から該貫通孔の内側に突出する突出部を有し、前記突出部は、複数の前記支持部材の間に収容されている照明装置に関する。
 上記の照明装置によると、突出部が複数の支持部材の間に収容されることにより、突出部が光源基板と光源との間に係止される。このため、反射シートの浮きを防止ないし抑制することができる。
 1つの前記貫通孔に対して複数の前記突出部が設けられていてもよい。
 この構成によると、複数の突出部が複数の支持部材の間に収容されることによって、反射シートの浮きを効果的に防止ないし抑制することができる。
 複数の前記突出部は、それぞれ等しい形状及び大きさで設けられていてもよい。また、複数の前記突出部は、それぞれ等間隔で配されていてもよい。また、複数の前記突出部は、その先端が前記レンズ部材又は前記光源の中心部からそれぞれ等しい距離となるように設けられていてもよい。
 この構成によると、複数の突出部が光源基板とレンズ部材又は光源との間に係止される際に、各突出部に加わる荷重を均等にすることができる。これにより、反射シートの浮きを効果的に防止ないし抑制することができる。
 反射シートの前記突出部は、その先端が、前記光源基板とは反対側に折れ曲がっていると共に、前記光源又は前記レンズ部材に当接した状態で複数の前記支持部材の間に収容されていてもよい。
 この構成によると、突出部の先端が光源基板とは反対側に湾曲して光源又はレンズ部材に当接することにより、突出部の先端が光源基板と光源又はレンズ部材との間に挟持される。これにより、反射シートの浮きを効果的に抑制することができる。
 本明細書で開示される技術は、上記の照明装置からの光を利用して表示を行う表示パネルと、を備える表示装置として表現することもできる。また、当該表示パネルを、液晶を用いた液晶パネルとする表示装置も、新規で有用である。また、上記の表示装置を備えるテレビ受信装置も、新規で有用である。上記の表示装置およびテレビによると、表示領域の大面積化を実現することが可能となる。
(発明の効果)
 本明細書で開示される技術によれば、直下型の照明装置において、反射シートの浮きを防止ないし抑制できる技術を提供することができる。

 <実施形態1>
 図面を参照して実施形態1を説明する。なお、各図面の一部にはX軸、Y軸およびZ軸を示しており、各軸方向が各図面で共通した方向となるように描かれている。このうちY軸方向は、鉛直方向と一致し、X軸方向は、水平方向と一致している。
 図1は、第1実施例に係るテレビ受信装置TVの分解斜視図を示している。図1に示すように、テレビ受信装置TVは、液晶表示装置10と、当該液晶表示装置10を挟むようにして収容する表裏両キャビネットCa、Cbと、電源Pと、チューナーTと、スタンドSと、を備えている。液晶表示装置10は、全体として横長の方形を成し、縦置き状態で収容されている。
 図2は、液晶表示装置10の分解斜視図を示している。図3は、液晶表示装置10の鉛直方向の断面図を示している。ここで、図2及び図3に示す上側を表側とし、同図下側を裏側とする。図2に示すように、液晶表示装置10は、表示パネルである液晶パネル16と、外部光源であるバックライト装置24とを備え、これらが枠状をなすベゼル12などにより一体的に保持されるようになっている。
 続いて、液晶表示装置10を構成する液晶パネル16及びバックライト装置24について説明する。液晶パネル16は、透明な(高い透光性を有する)一対のガラス基板が所定のギャップを隔てた状態で貼り合わせられるとともに、両ガラス基板間に液晶層(図示しない)が封入された構成とされる。一方のガラス基板には、互いに直交するソース配線とゲート配線とに接続されたスイッチング素子(例えばTFT)と、そのスイッチング素子に接続された画素電極、さらには配向膜等が設けられ、他方のガラス基板には、R(赤色),G(緑色),B(青色)等の各着色部が所定配列で配置されたカラーフィルタや対向電極、さらには配向膜等が設けられている。このうち、ソース配線、ゲート配線および対向電極などには、図示しない駆動回路基板から画像を表示するのに必要な画像データや各種制御信号が供給されるようになっている。なお、両ガラス基板の外側には偏光板(図示しない)が配されている。
 バックライト装置24は、図2に示すように、バックライトシャーシ22と、光学部材18(拡散板18aと、拡散板18aの表側に配される複数の光学シート18b)と、フレーム14とを備えている。バックライトシャーシ22は、表側(光出射側、液晶パネル16側)に開口した略箱型をなしている。光学部材18は、バックライトシャーシ22の表側に、バックライトシャーシ22の開口を覆うようにして配されている。フレーム14は、バックライトシャーシ22の長辺に沿って配され、光学部材18の長辺縁部をバックライトシャーシ22との間に挟んで保持している。
 バックライトシャーシ22内には、点状の複数のLED(Light Emitting Diode)光源28が配されたLED基板30と、外縁部材20とが収容されている。外縁部材20は、バックライトシャーシ22の短辺縁部に配されており、LED光源28からの光を内側に指向する。なお、バックライト装置24は、LED基板30よりも拡散板18a側が光出射側となっており、液晶パネル16に対してその裏側から拡散板18aを介して直接光が供給される直下型のバックライト装置である。
 バックライトシャーシ22は、例えばアルミ系材料などの金属製とされ、平面視で矩形状を成す底板22aと、底板22aの両長辺から立ち上がり略U字状に折り返された長辺側外縁22bと、底板22aの両短辺から立ち上がり略U字状に折り返された短辺側外縁22cとから成る浅い略箱型に板金成形されている。さらに、バックライトシャーシ22の長辺側外縁22bの上面には、図3に示すように、固定孔22dが穿設されており、例えば、ベゼル12、フレーム14、及びバックライトシャーシ22等を一体化することが可能とされている。
 バックライトシャーシ22の底板22aの表側には、樹脂製のLED基板30が敷設されている。LED基板30の表側には、反射シート26が敷設されている。さらに、LED基板30の表側には、整列配置された複数のLED光源28と、各LED光源28の光出射側を覆うようにして配された複数のレンズ部材32が設けられている。反射シート26の表側には複数の貫通孔27(図4、図5参照)が設けられ、LED光源28とレンズ部材32は反射シート26の貫通孔27を貫通して表側に露出している。なお、バックライトシャーシ22の底板22aの裏側には、LED光源28に駆動電力を供給する電源回路基板25が取り付けられている。
 LED光源28は、白色発光するものであり、例えば赤色、緑色、青色の3種類のLEDチップ(図示しない)が面実装された構成としてもよく、あるいは、青色発光素子に、黄色の領域に発光ピークを持つ蛍光体を塗布することにより白色発光するものとしたものであってもよい。また、青色発光素子に、緑色と赤色の領域にそれぞれ発光ピークを持つ蛍光体を塗布することにより白色発光するものとしたものであってもよい。また、青色発光素子に、緑色の領域に発光ピークを持つ蛍光体を塗布すると共に、赤色発光素子を組み合わせることにより白色発光するものとしたものであってもよい。また、LED光源28は、青色発光素子と、緑色発光素子と、赤色発光素子と、を組み合わせることにより白色発光するものとしたものであってもよい。また、紫外光発光素子と、蛍光体と、を組み合わせたものであってもよい。特に、紫外光発光素子に、青色と緑色と赤色にそれぞれ発光ピークを持つ蛍光体を塗布することにより白色発光するものとしたものであってもよい。
 レンズ部材32は、空気より高い屈折率を有する透明な部材(例えば、アクリルやポリカーボネイト)により形成され、LED光源80から出射される光を屈折させることで、拡散する機能を担っている。レンズ部材32は、平面視において円形状を成し、その中心にLED光源28が配置される構成となっており、LED光源28の表側を覆う形で配されている。なお、レンズ部材32の構成については、後で詳しく説明する。
 反射シート26は、合成樹脂製とされ、その表面が光反射性に優れた白色とされており、バックライトシャーシ22の底板22aの内面に沿ってそのほぼ全域を覆うように敷かれている。そして、LED光源28から出射された光を拡散板18a側に反射させることが可能となっている。
 光学部材18を構成する拡散板18aは、合成樹脂製の板状部材に光散乱粒子が分散配合されてなり、点状の光源であるLED光源28から出射される点状の光を拡散する機能を有すると共に、LED光源28の出射光を反射する光反射機能も併用している。また、拡散板18aの表側に配される光学シート18bは、拡散板18a側から順に、拡散シート、レンズシート、反射型偏光板が積層されたものであり、LED光源28から出射され、拡散板18aを通過した光を面状の光とする機能を有する。光学シート18bの表側には液晶パネル16が設置され、この光学シート18bは拡散板18aと液晶パネル16とにより挟持されている。また、拡散板18aには、その裏側(LED光源28と対向する側の面)に白色のドットパターンを成す円形状の複数の光反射部40が形成されている。光反射部40は、拡散板18a自身の面内の光反射率に対して相対的に大きな光反射率を有している。
 続いて、バックライトシャーシ22内に収容されているレンズ部材32及び反射シート26の構成について説明する。図4は、レンズ部材32と反射シート26を表側から視た平面図を示している。図5は、反射シート26の平面図を示している。図6は、LED基板30の表側に配されたレンズ部材32と反射シート26を拡大した断面図であって、レンズ部材32と反射シート26をLED光源28の中心を通るY-Z平面で切ったときの断面構成を示している。図7は、LED基板30の表側に配されたLED光源28及びレンズ部材32の1つを拡大した斜視図を示している。
 レンズ部材32は、図4、図6及び図7に示すように、平面視円形の平板状を成す基部32aと、扁平な半球状を成す半球部32bとを備えている。レンズ部材32の周縁部付近には、軸状の3つの脚部31a、31b、31cが基部32aの裏側から突設されている。3つの脚部31a、31b、31cは平面視でレンズ部材32の中心部から、ほぼ等間隔(約120度間隔)で配置されており(図4参照)、例えば接着剤や熱硬化性樹脂等によりLED基板30の表面に接着されている。レンズ部材32は、脚部31a、31b、31cによってLED基板30の表面に支持されている。
 レンズ部材32の頭頂部(拡散板18aと対向する側(即ち光出射側)の頂部)には、図6に示すように、略すり鉢状を成す第1凹部32cが形成されている。第1凹部32cの内周面は、断面視で円弧状を成している。また、レンズ部材32の下面(LED光源28側)には、LED光源28の真上に対応する箇所を表側(図6の上側、即ち拡散板18a側)に凹ませることで、略円錐形状を成す第2凹部32dが形成されている。第2凹部32dは、その側壁がLED光源28と対向する形で傾斜した構成を有している。このような構成によって、LED光源28からの光は、レンズ部材32と空気の境界で広角に屈折し、LED光源28の周囲に拡散されることとなる。
 反射シート26には、図4及び図5に示すように、LED基板30の表面に載置される際に各LED光源28及び各レンズ部材32と対応する位置に、複数の貫通孔27が設けられている。各貫通孔27は、レンズ部材32の基部32aの外縁より一回り大きな略円形状を成しており、LED光源28及びレンズ部材32が貫通するように形成されている。
 反射シート26の貫通孔27の縁部27aには、貫通孔27の内側に突出する3つの突出部26a、26b、26cが形成されている。3つの突出部26a、26b、26cは、それぞれ等しい形状及び大きさで設けられ、貫通孔27の中心から、ほぼ等間隔(約120度間隔)で配置されている。また、3つの突出部26a、26b、26cは、その先端がレンズ部材32の中心部(第1凹部32c)からそれぞれ等しい距離となるように設けられている。そして、貫通孔27をレンズ部材32が貫通した状態では、図4、図7に示すように、3つの突出部26a、26b、26cがレンズ部材32の3つの脚部31a、31b、31cの間にそれぞれ位置することとなる。即ち、脚部31aと脚部31bの間に突出部26bが収容され、脚部31bと脚部31cの間に突出部26cが収容され、脚部31cと脚部31aの間に突出部26aが収容された状態となる。
 さて、反射シート26をLED基板30の表面に敷設する場合、まず、LED光源28とレンズ部材32が実装されたLED基板30に対し、貫通孔27の位置とレンズ部材32との位置が対応するように位置決めする。この場合、貫通孔27の3つの突出部26a、26b、26cが、平面視においてレンズ部材32の3つの脚部31a、31b、31cの間にそれぞれ位置するように位置決めする。
 この状態で反射シート26を下していくと(LED基板30に近づけていくと)、貫通孔27の各突出部26a、26b、26cがレンズ部材32の基部32aの外縁上面32a1と当接する。さらに反射シート26を下していくと、各突出部26a、26b、26cがレンズ部材32の基部32aの側面32a2によって貫通孔27の縁部27aを基点として上方に(LED光源28の光出射側に)折り曲げられながら、レンズ部材32が貫通孔27を貫通する。そして貫通孔27の各突出部26a、26b、26cがレンズ部材32の基部32aの外縁側面32a2の下端まで達すると、各突出部26a、26b、26cは、その折り曲げ反発力によってレンズ部材32の脚部31a、31b、31cの間にそれぞれ入り込む。
 貫通孔27の各突出部26a、26b、26cは、その先端がレンズ部材32の基部32aの下面32a3と当接しながらレンズ部材32の脚部31a、31b、31cの間に入り込む。このため、反射シート26がLED基板30の表面に敷設されると、各突出部26a、26b、26cは、その先端がレンズ部材32の基部32aの下面32a3との間の摩擦力によって当該下面32a3と当接した状態で、レンズ部材32とLED基板30との間に挟持される(図6参照)。これにより、突出部26a、26b、26cが上下方向(Z軸方向)へ動くことが規制され、反射シート26の浮きが効果的に防止ないし抑制される。
 以上のように本実施形態に係るバックライト装置24では、反射シート26に設けられた貫通孔27の突出部26a、26b、26cが脚部31a、31b、31cの間に収容されることにより、突出部26a、26b、26cがLED基板30とレンズ部材32との間に係止される。このため、反射シート26の浮きを防止ないし抑制することができ、バックライト装置24の表示性能の低下を防止することができる。
 また、本実施形態に係るバックライト装置24では、1つの貫通孔27に対して3つの突出部26a、26b、26cが設けられている。このため、3つの突出部26a、26b、26cが3つの脚部31a、31b、31cの間にそれぞれ収容されることによって、反射シートの浮きを効果的に防止ないし抑制することができる。
 また、本実施形態に係るバックライト装置24では、3つの突出部26a、26b、26cが、それぞれ等しい形状及び大きさで設けられ、それぞれ等間隔で配されている。さらに、3つの突出部26a、26b、26cは、その先端がレンズ部材32の中心部からそれぞれ等しい距離となるように設けられている。このため、3つの突出部26a、26b、26cがLED基板30とレンズ部材32との間に係止される際に、各突出部26a、26b、26cに加わる荷重を均等にすることができる。これにより、反射シート26の浮きを効果的に防止ないし抑制することができる。
 また、本実施形態に係るバックライト装置24では、反射シート26に設けられた貫通孔27の突出部26a、26b、26cの先端が、LED基板30とは反対側に(LED光源28の光出射側に)折れ曲がっていると共に、レンズ部材32の基部32aの下面32a3と当接した状態で3つの脚部31a、31b、31cの間に収容されている。このため、突出部26a、26b、26cの先端がLED基板30とレンズ部材32との間に挟持され、反射シート26の浮きを効果的に抑制することができる。
 <実施形態2>
 図面を参照して実施形態2を説明する。図8は、実施形態2に係るバックライト装置における反射シート126とLED光源28を表側から視た平面図を示している。図9は、LED基板130の表側に配された反射シート126とレンズ部材132を拡大した側面図であって、射シート126とレンズ部材132を水平方向左側(図9の左側)から視たときの側面図を示している。実施形態2は、LED光源128がレンズ部材で覆われていない点及びLED光源28に脚部が設けられている点で実施形態1のものと異なっている。その他の構成については実施形態1と同じであるため、構造、作用、および効果の説明は省略する。
 実施形態2に係るバックライト装置では、LED光源128の光出射側がレンズ部材に覆われておらず、表側(拡散板側)に露出している。また、LED光源128は平面視で横長の方形を成しており、LED光源128の短辺側の縁部付近には、平板状の2つの脚部131a、131bがLED光源128の裏側から突設されている。2つの脚部131a、131bは、その板面が鉛直方向(Y軸方向)に沿って互いに平行となるように配置されており、LED基板130の表面に接着されている。LED光源128は、脚部131a、131bによってLED基板130の表面に支持されている。
 一方、反射シート126には、LED基板130の表面に載置される際に各LED光源128と対応する位置に、複数の貫通孔127が設けられている。各貫通孔127は、LED光源128の外縁より一回り大きな方形を成しており、LED光源128が貫通するように形成されている。
 反射シート126の貫通孔127の縁部127aには、貫通孔127の内側に突出する2つの突出部126a、126bが設けられている。2つの突出部126a、126bは、それぞれ等しい形状及び大きさで設けられ、貫通孔127の長辺側の縁部127aにそれぞれ配置されている。そして、貫通孔127をLED光源128が貫通した状態では、2つの突出部126a、126bは、図8に示すように、LED光源128の2つの脚部131a、131bの間にそれぞれ位置することとなる。
 さて、反射シート126をLED基板130の表面に敷設する場合、実施形態1の場合と同様に、LED光源128が実装されたLED基板130に対し、貫通孔127の位置とLED光源128の位置が対応するように位置決めする。この場合、貫通孔127の2つの突出部126a、126bが、平面視においてレンズ部材132の2つの脚部131a、131bの間にそれぞれ位置するように位置決めする。
 この状態で反射シート126を下していくと、実施形態1の場合と同様に、貫通孔127の各突出部126a、126bがLED光源128の側面128bによって貫通孔127の縁部127aを基点として上方に折り曲げられながら、LED光源128が貫通孔127を貫通する。そして各突出部126a、126bがLED光源128の側面128bの下端まで達すると、各突出部126a、126bは、LED光源128の脚部131a、131bの間にそれぞれ入り込む。
 貫通孔127の各突出部126a、126bは、その先端がLED光源128の下面128と当接しながらLED光源128の脚部131a、131bの間に入り込む。このため、反射シート126がLED基板130の表面に敷設されると、突出部126a、126bは、その先端がLED光源128の下面128cとの間の摩擦力によって当該下面128cと当接した状態で、LED光源128とLED基板30との間に挟持される(図9参照)。これにより、突出部126a、126bが上下方向(Z軸方向)へ動くことが規制され、反射シート126の浮きが効果的に防止ないし抑制される。
 以上のように実施形態2に係るバックライト装置では、反射シート126に設けられた貫通孔127の2つの突出部126a、126bが2つの脚部31a、31bの間にそれぞれ収容されることにより、突出部126a、126bがLED基板130とLED光源128との間に係止される。このため、反射シート126の浮きを効果的に防止ないし抑制することができる。
 また、実施形態2に係るバックライト装置では、反射シート126に設けられた貫通孔127の突出部126a、126bの先端が、LED基板130とは反対側(LED光源128の光出射側)に折れ曲がっていると共に、LED光源128に当接した状態で2つの脚部31a、31bの間に収容されている。このため、突出部126a、126bの先端がLED基板130とLED光源128との間に挟持され、反射シート126の浮きを効果的に抑制することができる。
 各実施形態の構成と本発明の構成との対応関係を記載しておく。LED基板30、130が「光源基板」の一例である。また、LED光源28、128が「光源」の一例である。また、脚部31a、31b、31c、131a、131bが「支持部材」の一例である。また、バックライトシャーシ22が「収容部材」の一例である。また、バックライト装置24、124が「照明装置」の一例である。
 上記の各実施形態の変形例を以下に列挙する。
(1)上記の各実施形態では、突出部の先端が折れ曲がった状態で脚部の間に収容されている構成を採用したが、突出部の先端が折れ曲がっていない状態で脚部の間に収容される構成を採用してもよい。この場合、LED光源及び/又はレンズ部材が実装されていないLED基板の表面に予め反射シートを敷設し、脚部の高さを反射シートの厚みと同じ幅とすることにより、突出部をLED基板とLED光源又はレンズ部材との間に挟持させることができる。
(2)上記の各実施形態では、突出部の先端がLED基板とLED光源又はレンズ部材との間に挟持される構成を採用したが、突出部の先端がLED基板とLED光源又はレンズ部材との間に挟持されない構成を採用してもよい。この場合、反射シートがわずかに浮き上がると突出部の先端がLED光源又はレンズ部材の下面と当接し、反射シートがそれ以上に浮くことを防止ないし抑制することができる。
(3)上記の各実施形態では、LED基板の表面にスペーサが設けられていない構成を採用したが、LED基板の表面にスペーサを設け、貫通孔にスペーサを貫通させることにより、このスペーサによってLED基板と拡散板との間の距離を規制される構成を採用してもよい。
(4)上記の各実施形態以外にも、脚部及び突出部の配置、形態、数等については適宜に変更可能である。
(5)上記の各実施形態では、表示パネルとして液晶パネルを用いた液晶表示装置を例示したが、他の種類の表示パネルを用いた表示装置にも本発明は適用可能である。
(6)上記の各実施形態では、チューナーを備えたテレビ受信装置を例示したが、チューナーを備えない表示装置にも本発明は適用可能である。
 以上、本発明の実施形態について詳細に説明したが、これらは例示に過ぎず、特許請求の範囲を限定するものではない。特許請求の範囲に記載の技術には、以上に例示した具体例を様々に変形、変更したものが含まれる。
 また、本明細書または図面に説明した技術要素は、単独であるいは各種の組合せによって技術的有用性を発揮するものであり、出願時請求項記載の組合せに限定されるものではない。また、本明細書または図面に例示した技術は複数目的を同時に達成し得るものであり、そのうちの一つの目的を達成すること自体で技術的有用性を持つものである。

Claims (10)

  1.  光源基板と、
     該光源基板の第1主面に配された光源と、
     前記光源の光出射側を覆うと共に、前記光源からの光を拡散するレンズ部材と、
     前記光源基板の前記第1主面に配され、前記レンズ部材を支持する複数の支持部材と、
     前記光源基板の第1主面側に配され、貫通孔を有する反射シートと、
     前記光源基板の第2主面と対向する底板を有し、前記光源基板と前記光源と前記レンズ部材と複数の前記支持部材と前記反射シートとを収容する収容部材と、を備え、
     前記光源と複数の前記支持部材は、前記反射シートの前記貫通孔を貫通しており、
     前記反射シートは、前記貫通孔の縁部から該貫通孔の内側に突出する突出部を有し、
     前記突出部は、複数の前記支持部材の間に収容されていることを特徴とする照明装置。
  2.  光源基板と、
     該光源基板の第1主面側に配された光源と、
     前記光源基板の前記第1主面に配され、前記光源を支持する複数の支持部材と、
     前記光源基板の第1主面側に配され、貫通孔を有する反射シートと、
     前記光源基板の第2主面と対向する底板を有し、前記光源基板と前記光源と複数の前記支持部材と前記反射シートとを収容する収容部材と、を備え、
     複数の前記支持部材は、前記反射シートの前記貫通孔を貫通しており、
     前記反射シートは、前記貫通孔の縁部から該貫通孔の内側に突出する突出部を有し、
     前記突出部は、複数の前記支持部材の間に収容されていることを特徴とする照明装置。
  3.  1つの前記貫通孔に対して複数の前記突出部が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載の照明装置。
  4.  複数の前記突出部は、それぞれ等しい形状及び大きさで設けられていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の照明装置。
  5.  複数の前記突出部は、それぞれ等間隔で配されていることを特徴とする請求項3又は請求項4に記載の照明装置。
  6.  複数の前記突出部は、その先端が前記レンズ部材又は前記光源の中心部からそれぞれ等しい距離となるように設けられていることを特徴とする請求項3から請求項5のいずれか1項に記載の照明装置。
  7.  前記反射シートの前記突出部は、その先端が、前記光源基板とは反対側に折れ曲がっていると共に、前記レンズ部材又は前記光源に当接した状態で複数の前記支持部材の間に収容されていることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項6のいずれか1項に記載の照明装置。
  8.  請求項1から請求項7のいずれか1項に記載の照明装置からの光を利用して表示を行う表示パネルを備えることを特徴とする表示装置。
  9.  前記表示パネルが液晶を用いた液晶パネルであることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の表示装置。
  10.  請求項8又は請求項9に記載の表示装置を備えることを特徴とするテレビ受信装置。
