Abstract

The invention relates to a method, system and prepreg for producing fibre-reinforced moulded parts (SMC) by means of extrusion in a moulding press (20), an associated flat belt system (16) for continuously producing an endless fibre-reinforced prepreg (10) and a transfer device (19) in a direct process, wherein in the flat belt system (16) at least one resin base layer (5, 8) is combined with fibres (6) in a mixing device (1), mixed in a subsequent fulling and saturating device (14) and finally is matured in a thickening device (25) to form an endless prepreg (10). The endless prepreg (10) is cut to size into sheets (18) and is then passed directly, or after being laid together with further cut sheets (18) to form a laid scrim (36), into a tool (35) of a moulding press (20) by means of the transfer device (19) and is pressed together in the moulding press (20) to form a fibre-reinforced moulded part (21). With regard to the method, according to the invention the continuous prepregs (10) which are produced in a flat belt system (16) and cut to size into cut sheets (18) are fed (1404) by means of at least one transfer device (19) to at least two moulding presses (20, 20').
