- the protective cover has a "U" section, whose wings are housed in the channel and disposed between the side walls of the channel and the pneumatic seal, and whose core covers externally to the pneumatic seal.
- Another feature of the invention consists in the incorporation into the system of a remote control device, for the remote control of the actuation means of the closing lid, preventing the user from having to climb into the container tank to carry out the opening or closing of the lid, with the consequent risk of accident.
- the upper claw fixed to the anterior area of the ring, has front, through holes, for the evacuation to the outside of the possible particles accumulated on said ring when the lid is in the open position.
- the lid displaces the accumulated particles on the ring towards said upper claw, causing its evacuation through the holes defined in said upper claw, and preventing said particles from accumulating between the front end of the lid. and the upper claw fixed at the front end of the ring, which could prevent the lid from reaching the closed position.
- the cover has at its front end nozzles or blowers connected to a pressurized air supply circuit.
- said nozzles project air under pressure on the mouth ring, eliminating those particles accumulated on the ring in order to prevent them from accumulating between the front end of the lid and the upper claw, forming an impediment to the correct closing of the lid.
- the closure system comprises an anti-trapping safety device to prevent damage in the event of entrapment of an operator or of any object that is in the mouth of the container during the lid closing maneuver.
- Said safety device may be a pressure sensor disposed in the anterior area of the lid, means for detecting an overpressure in the actuation means of the lid, or other equivalent means.
- the remote control device can be electric, mechanical, hydraulic or pneumatic depending on the type of drive means used to move the cover.
- FIG. 1 shows a perspective view of an exemplary embodiment of the closure system with the lid in the closed position, said lid being rotatably driven by a pneumatic cylinder.

- the cover (1) comprises in its rear area a lower claw (8), also of "L" section, which simultaneously forms a stop and grip means of the ring (6) when said cover reaches the closed position shown in Figure 1
- the cover (1) has an annular channel (9) on its inner surface in which a pneumatic seal (10) is housed in order to hermetically seal the cover (1) with respect to the mouth (1) and more specifically with respect to the ring (6) of the mouth (1).
- Said channel (9) is closed externally by a protective cover (1 1) of flexible material that prevents the friction of the pneumatic seal (10) against the ring (6) and the accelerated deterioration of said pneumatic seal (10).
- the protective cover (1 1) has a "U" section, the wings of which are housed in the channel (9) and whose core is coated externally to the pneumatic seal (10).
- the closing system has a remote control device (12), for remote control of the pneumatic cylinder during the opening and closing maneuvers.
- the remote control device can be of different types depending on the drive means used to operate the cover.
- the remote control device shown in Figure 7, comprises electro valves (12), operable by a manual control or by a remote control, arranged between a pneumatic fluid supply equipment (13) and the pressure inlet and outlet nozzles of the pneumatic cylinder (5), to perform the opening and closing maneuvers.
- the upper claw (7) has front holes (71), through, for the evacuation to the outside, during the closing maneuver of the lid, of the possible particles accumulated on the ring (6), thus preventing said particles from being trapped between the front end of the lid (1) and the upper claw (7), preventing the closure of the lid (1).
- the cover (1) has at its front end nozzles or blowers (14) that project air on the ring (6) during the closing maneuver, eliminating the possible particles accumulated on said ring (6).
- these nozzles or blowers (14) are connected to a branch of the pneumatic circuit responsible for supplying pressure to the cylinder (5) during the closing maneuver.
- the closing system has an anti-trapping safety device represented by a pressure switch (15) connected to the pneumatic supply circuit of the cylinder (5) and which automatically causes the shutdown maneuver to stop. the cover (1) if an overpressure is detected in said circuit, greater than the pressure necessary for closing the cover.
