Abstract

The present invention relates to a liquid flow apparatus for conducting tests including biochemical reactions, to a fixed quantity liquid supply apparatus for automatically filling the liquid flow apparatus with liquid substances, to a target substance extracting apparatus for extracting target substances such as nucleic acids, protein or the like from a variety of biological samples, using the liquid flow apparatus and the fixed quantity liquid supply apparatus, and to a target substance extraction method for extracting target substances from a variety of biological samples, using magnetic particles which selectively adsorb target substances. In one embodiment of the liquid flow apparatus according to the present invention, a liquid flow plate comprises: a plurality of storage chambers in which liquid substances are stored; a reaction chamber in which two or more liquid substances react with each other; a plurality of delivery channels interposed between the storage chambers and the reaction chamber so as to deliver the liquid substances stored in the storage chambers to the reaction chamber; injection channels for injecting liquid substances into the plurality of storage chambers; and a discharge channel connected to the reaction chamber, wherein pump means connected to the discharge channel operate and simultaneously the plurality of injection channels are selectively opened/closed, to thereby supply the liquid substances stored in the storage chambers to the reaction chamber, or discharge the liquid substances in the reaction chamber to the outside.
