Abstract

본 발명은 염료감응 태양전지 및 이로부터 구성되는 모듈에 관한 것으로, 보다 상세하게는 광전극 기판과 촉매전극 기판이 이격공간을 가지고 봉지재에 의하여 결합되고, 상기 이격공간에 전해질이 채워지는 염료감응 태양전지에 있어서, 상기 전해질은 광학비드를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 염료감응 태양전지 및 이로부터 구성되는 모듈에 관한 것이다. 이를 통하여 광전극 기판을 투과한 빛이 다시 광학비드에 의하여 굴절 또는 반사되어 광전극 기판에 조사되므로, 태양전지의 효율을 높일 수 있고, 특히 투광성을 유지하기 위하여 별도의 산란층을 가지지 않는 BIPV시스템용 염료감응 태양전지의 경우에 더욱 효과적으로 효율을 개선할 수 있으며, 비드에 착색을 하는 경우에는 다양한 색상을 가지는 태양전지를 공급하여 미려한 BIPV시스템을 적용한 건물을 만들 수 있는 효과가 있다.
