Abstract
A multilayer photovoltaic composition for absorbing and converting light radiation into electrical energy, comprising, in the following order, at least one electrode layer (2) made of an electrically conductive material which defines an electrode, at least one active layer (3) designed to absorb photons and convert them into electrical energy, at least one counterelectrode layer (4) made of an electrically conducting material, wherein said active layer (3) is a composite material containing semiconductors and/or elements and/or inorganic oxides, selected from the group comprising poly(3-octyl(thiophene) (P3OT), dioxythiophene, poly-phenylene-vinylene (PPV) derivatives, polypyrrole, fullerenes, and/or combinations thereof, initially dispersed in an organic solvent.
