次に、図4および図5を参照し、実施の形態1による映像再生装置がする3D映像再生と2D映像再生との間の切り換え動作について説明する。
次に、実施の形態2の映像再生装置ついて説明する。実施の形態2の映像再生装置は、実施の形態1の映像再生装置と同等の構成および機能を有し、さらに、映像の早送りや早戻し等の特殊再生に関し、以下の動作を行う。
次に、実施の形態3による映像再生装置について説明する。実施の形態3による映像再生装置は、実施の形態1または2による映像再生装置12と同等の構成および機能を有し、さらに、再生すべきコンテンツが3Dコンテンツと2Dコンテンツとの間で切り換わった場合に、以下の動作を行う。
先の実施の形態においては、コンテンツが3Dから2Dに切り換わる例として、ユーザによるチャンネルの変更指示を受信した場合を示した。しかし、実施の形態は上記例に限られるものではない。他の例としては、例えば、3Dコンテンツの再生時に、ユーザからデータ放送再生の指示を受信した場合が考えられる。
図8は、実施の形態1~4の映像再生装置12の第2のAV処理部202の構成の詳細を示す図である。第2のAV処理部202は、例えば、1つまたは2つ以上の半導体装置として構成されてよい。第2のAV処理部202は、ディスク200やチューナ207から入力される3Dコンテンツを含んだ映像ストリーム信号から映像信号を構成するデコーダ部202aと、デコーダ部202aから入力される映像信号を第2の入出力部203へ出力する信号出力部202dと、コンテンツの表示を3Dおよび2Dの間で切り換える指示を受ける3D/2D表示切換指示部202cとを有する。また、デコーダ部202aは、3D映像信号用の出力モードで2D映像信号を出力するために、3D映像信号における左目映像およびそれに対応する右目映像として該左目映像またはそれに対応する右目映像のいずれか一方のみが繰り返し含まれる映像信号を構成する3Dフォーマット非2D映像構成部202bを備える。なお、信号出力部202dは、出力端子でよい。
次に、実施の形態5による映像再生装置について説明する。
先ず、3Dコンテンツを記録したディスク200を再生する場合に映像再生装置がする動作について簡単に説明する。ディスク200上には3D再生用の映像データとして、左目映像データ(L)と右目映像データ(R)がそれぞれ記録されている。映像再生装置12は、これを各々再生し、映像表示装置11へ左目映像信号(L)と右目映像信号(R)を出力する。映像表示装置11は、例えば、この左目映像信号(L)の映像と右目映像信号(R)の映像とを時間的に交互に出力し、立体メガネ(液晶シャッターメガネ)13は、このLとRに同期してシャッターを左右交互に駆動させることで、ユーザはコンテンツを立体映像として見ることが出来る。
以下、本実施の形態について説明する。映像再生装置及び映像表示装置(3D映像再生表示システム)の構成は、先述の実施の形態の構成とほぼ同等であるため、ここでは構成等にかかる説明は適宜省略する。
2.1.認証動作
このように構成された映像再生装置12の認証動作について説明する。まずディスクドライブ部(ドライブ装置)201に3Dコンテンツが記録されたディスクが挿入されると、第2のAV処理部202はこのディスクに3Dコンテンツが含まれることを判定し、左目用(L)と右目用(R)の映像データをディスクから読み出し、再生する(映像信号を構成する)。再生した映像データ(映像信号)は第2の入出力部203へ送出されるとともに、映像表示装置11とのHDMI接続において3D接続の相互認証を行う。これにより表示装置11は映像表示モードとして3D表示モードで映像を表示する。第2のAV処理部202がディスクドライブ部(ドライブ装置)201に挿入されたディスクが2Dコンテンツであると判定した場合は、映像表示装置11とのHDMI接続において2D接続の相互認証を行う。これにより映像表示装置11は、映像表示モードとして2D表示モードで映像を表示する。
以上のように構成されたシステムにおける映像再生装置12の、コンテンツ再生中に映像表示モード変更動作について、図12を参照しながら説明する。図12では、映像再生装置12のディスクドライブ部201にコンテンツが記録されたディスクが挿入され、該コンテンツ(3Dコンテンツ)を再生中に映像表示装置11の映像表示モードが2D表示モードに変更された場合の映像再生装置12における処理を示す。
図13は、実施の形態5の映像再生装置12の第2のAV処理部202の構成の詳細を示す図である。第2のAV処理部202は、例えば、1つまたは2つ以上の半導体装置として構成されてよい。第2のAV処理部202は、ディスク200やチューナ207から入力される3Dコンテンツを含んだ映像ストリーム信号から映像信号を構成するデコーダ部202aと、デコーダ部202aから入力される映像信号を第2の入出力部203へ出力する信号出力部202dと、コンテンツの表示を3Dおよび2Dの間で切り換える指示を受ける3D/2D表示切換指示部202cとを有する。また、デコーダ部202aは、3D映像信号用の出力モードで2D映像信号を出力するために、3D映像信号における左目映像およびそれに対応する右目映像として該左目映像またはそれに対応する右目映像のいずれか一方のみが繰り返し含まれる映像信号を構成する3Dフォーマット2D映像構成部202bを備え、さらに、付加情報にかかる時間的に変化するオフセット量を一定の所定値に固定して3Dフォーマット2D映像構成部202bへ出力するオフセット固定部202eを備える。なお、信号出力部202dは、出力端子でよい。
なお、図11中では、IGストリームやPGストリームには、3D映像表示用にL用R用に分けてL用/R用メニューやL用/R用字幕が格納されていない場合を示している。つまり、出力時には、Lビデオ305にもRビデオ307にも、これらIG/PGストリームは、オフセット以外は同じ内容のものをビデオ映像のLビデオ305およびRビデオ307に各々重畳される。しかし、これらIG/PGストリームにおいてL用とR用のおのおの2つのデータを用意し、各々L用メニュー(L用字幕)とR用メニュー(R用字幕)として独立してビデオ映像のLビデオ305とRビデオ307に重畳してもよい。その場合も、オフセットは本実施の形態の説明にしたがって、実施すればよい。

Claims (13)
- 立体映像表示を可能とする3D映像信号または非立体映像表示を可能とする非3D映像信号を映像表示装置へ出力可能な映像再生装置であって、
コンテンツのデータを入力し、前記コンテンツのデータから、3D映像信号または非3D映像信号を構成するAV処理部と、
前記AV処理部で構成された3D映像信号または非3D映像信号を、立体映像表示用の映像信号を出力するためのフォーマットである3D映像出力フォーマットにしたがい、前記映像表示装置へ出力する出力部と、
ユーザが入力する指示を受け付ける受信部と、を有し、
前記出力部が前記3D映像信号を前記3D映像出力フォーマットにしたがい出力している際に、前記受信部が、前記コンテンツの映像表示を非3D表示にする指示を受け付けた場合、前記AV処理部は、前記コンテンツのデータから、非3D映像信号を構成し、前記出力部は、前記非3D映像信号を前記映像表示装置へ前記3D映像出力モードにしたがい出力する、映像再生装置。 - さらに、ユーザが前記映像表示装置に対して入力した指示を前記映像表示装置から受信する入力部を有し、
前記出力部が前記3D映像信号を前記3D映像出力モードにしたがい出力している際に、前記入力部が、前記映像表示装置の映像表示を3D表示から前記非3D表示へ切り換える指示を入力した場合、前記AV処理部は、前記コンテンツのデータから非3D映像の映像信号を構成し、前記出力部は、前記非3D映像信号を前記映像表示装置へ前記3D映像出力モードにしたがい出力する、請求項1に記載の映像再生装置。 - 前記AV処理部は、前記コンテンツのデータに含まれるコンテンツ識別情報から、前記コンテンツが3Dコンテンツであるか非3Dコンテンツであるかを判別し、
前記出力部が前記3D映像信号を前記3D映像出力モードにしたがい出力している際に、前記受信部が、再生すべきコンテンツを前記コンテンツから別のコンテンツに切り換える指示を受け付け、かつ、前記AV処理部が、前記別のコンテンツは非3Dコンテンツであると判別した場合、前記AV処理部は、前記別のコンテンツのデータから非3D映像信号を構成し、前記出力部は、前記非3D映像信号を前記映像表示装置へ前記3D映像出力モードにしたがい出力する、請求項1に記載の映像再生装置。 - 前記AV処理部は、記憶媒体に記憶されているコンテンツのデータおよびコンテンツ識別情報を入力する、請求項3に記載の映像再生装置。
- 前記AV処理部は、前記映像再生装置の外部から受信したコンテンツのデータおよびコンテンツ識別情報を入力する、請求項3に記載の映像再生装置。
- 前記別のコンテンツは、非3Dコンテンツを含むデータ放送である、請求項3に記載の映像再生装置。
- 前記3D映像信号は、視差を有する左目用の映像である左目映像と右目用の映像である右目映像を含み、
前記出力部が前記3D映像信号を前記3D映像出力フォーマットにしたがい出力している間に、前記受信部が、前記コンテンツの映像表示を非3D表示にする指示を受け付けた場合、前記AV処理部は、前記非3D映像の映像信号を、前記左目映像および前記右目映像のいずれか一方のみを含むように構成する、請求項1に記載の映像再生装置。 - 立体映像表示を可能とする3D映像信号または非立体映像表示を可能とする非3D映像信号を映像表示装置へ出力可能な映像再生装置であって、
コンテンツのデータを入力し、前記コンテンツのデータから、3D映像信号または非3D映像信号を構成するAV処理部と、
前記AV処理部で構成された3D映像信号または非3D映像信号を、立体映像表示用の映像信号を出力するためのフォーマットである3D映像出力フォーマットにしたがい、前記映像表示装置へ出力する出力部と、
ユーザが入力する指示を受け付ける受信部と、を有し、
前記出力部が前記3D映像信号を前記3D映像信号出力フォーマットにしたがい出力している際に、前記受信部が、前記コンテンツを特殊再生する指示を受け付けた場合、前記AV処理部は、前記コンテンツのデータから、非3D映像信号を構成し、前記出力部は、前記非3D映像信号を前記映像表示装置へ前記3D映像出力フォーマットにしたがい出力する、映像再生装置。 - 前記特殊再生は、前記コンテンツの早送りまたは早戻し再生を含む、請求項5に記載の映像再生装置。
- 立体映像表示を可能とする3D映像信号または非立体映像表示を可能とする非3D映像信号を映像表示装置へ出力可能な映像再生装置であって、
コンテンツのデータを入力し、前記コンテンツのデータから、立体映像であることを示す情報が重畳された3D映像信号または前記立体映像であることを示す情報が重畳されない非3D映像信号を構成するAV処理部と、
前記AV処理部で構成された3D映像信号または非3D映像信号を、非立体映像表示用の映像信号を出力するためのフォーマットである非3D映像出力フォーマットにしたがい、前記映像表示装置へ出力する出力部と、
ユーザが入力する指示を受け付ける受信部と、を備え、
前記AV処理部は、
前記コンテンツのデータに含まれるコンテンツ識別情報から、前記コンテンツが3Dコンテンツであるか非3Dコンテンツであるかを判別し、
前記コンテンツが3Dコンテンツであると判別した場合には、前記コンテンツのデータから、3D映像信号を前記非3D映像出力フォーマットにしたがい構成し、
前記コンテンツが非3Dコンテンツであると判別した場合には、前記コンテンツのデータから、非3D映像の映像信号を前記非3D映像出力フォーマットにしたがい構成し、
前記出力部が前記非3D映像信号を前記非3D映像出力モードで出力している際に、前記受信部が、再生すべきコンテンツを前記コンテンツから別のコンテンツに切り換える指示を受け付け、かつ、前記AV処理部が、前記別のコンテンツは3Dコンテンツであると判別した場合、前記AV処理部は、前記別のコンテンツのデータから3D映像信号を構成し、前記出力部は、前記3D映像信号を前記映像表示装置へ前記非3D映像出力フォーマットにしたがい出力する、映像再生装置。 - 前記AV処理部は、前記コンテンツは非3Dコンテンツであると判別した場合には、非立体映像であることを示す情報が重畳された非立体映像表示用の非3D映像の映像信号を構成する、請求項10に記載の映像再生装置。
- コンテンツのデータを入力し、前記コンテンツのデータから、立体映像表示を可能とする3D映像信号、または、非立体映像表示を可能とする非3D映像信号を構成するデコーダ部と、
前記コンテンツの映像表示に関する指示を受け付けて、当該指示にもとづいて、前記デコーダ部に対し、前記3D映像信号を構成するか前記非3D映像信号を構成するかを指示する3D/非3D指示部と、
前記デコーダ部が構成した映像信号を、立体映像表示用の映像信号を出力するためのフォーマットである3D映像出力フォーマットにしたがい出力する信号出力部と、を有する半導体装置。 - 立体映像表示を可能とする3D映像信号または非立体映像表示を可能とする非3D映像信号を映像表示装置へ出力可能な映像再生装置において映像信号を構成し映像表示装置へ出力する方法であって、
AV処理部が、コンテンツのデータを入力するステップと、
前記AV処理部が、前記コンテンツのデータから、3D映像信号を、映像表示装置へ3D映像の映像信号を出力するための出力モードである3D映像信号出力モードに適合したフォーマットで構成して、出力部が、前記AV処理部から前記映像信号を受け、前記映像表示装置に対し、前記3D映像信号を、前記3D映像信号出力モードで出力するステップと、
受信部が、ユーザが入力する前記コンテンツの映像表示を3D表示から非3D表示へ切り換える指示を受け付けるステップと、
前記受け付けるステップの後に、前記AV処理部が、当該指示を受けて前記非3D映像信号を構成して、前記出力部が、前記非3D映像信号を前記映像表示装置に対して前記3D映像信号出力モードで出力するステップと、を有する、映像再生装置において映像信号を構成し映像表示装置へ出力する方法。
