Abstract

A method for heating the ground with soil which is electrically heated, wherein an inductive heating method is employed, in which the soil is heated by high-frequency electromagnetic fields ranging between 10 and 200 kHz. In a related system for conducting the method, at least one generator (60) for high-frequency predetermined frequency (fi) in the kHz range, to which at least one inductor assembly (10) having a feed conductor (15) and a return conductor (20) is connected, is present. The method or such a system can be advantageously used within the scope of active environmental protection, in particular for recultivating regions which have been contaminated with organic substances.
