Abstract

A method and an apparatus for recommending an area with relative interest are disclosed. The method for recommending an area with relative interest comprises: a monitoring unit which splits an objective area into a grid having a predetermined size, and monitors the amount of searches for the sites with interest on the grid; an increased interest grid calculation unit which analyzes the amount of searches for the sites with interest and calculates a grid showing increased interest; a center point calculation unit which calculates a center point of the grid showing the increased interest; and an area with interest calculation unit which calculates an area with interest, containing at least one or more of said sites with interest, on the basis of the center point.
