Abstract
The invention relates to a control and regulation device (1) as well as a method for exchanging control and regulation signals. In order to do so, the control and regulation device (1) comprises a central control unit (11) that is an integrated semiconductor circuit (12) and is arranged on at least one circuit board (16). At least one additional integrated semiconductor circuit (13) is arranged in the control and regulation device (1). Said additional integrated semiconductor circuit (13) cooperates with the central control unit (11). The central control unit (11) has a first optical transceiver (17), while the additional integrated semiconductor circuit (13) has another optical transceiver (20). The transceivers (17, 20) are optically coupled via an optical coupling means (21) in order to exchange data.
