Abstract

The invention is a corset which helps providing a better physical appearance by wrapping the human body with its elastic structure and helps losing weight and it comprises a balloon (8) which is placed at the middle portion (6) of the corset between the first and the second layers (4, 5) of the inner surface (1), and which reduces the volume of the stomach of the user by applying pressure on it.

DESCRIPTION
The Related Art
The invention relates to a corset embodiment which has a novelty and which is developed to assist people who want to slim reach their goals and which is used under doctor's supervision.
Background of the Related Art
The corset is used for centuries for aesthetic reasons, especially by women. It has always been important for human to look slim, to have a body in good form or seem like that. Nowadays, although it has gone through various changes, the corset has not lost its use and significance among men and women. Moreover, in terms of health, corset usage is common among people who have orthopedic problems.
There are many methods used to be or look slim. The most common of these is to exercise. That is one of the healthiest methods of slimming, and one that everybody should do. However, the modern human, especially the working one, because of having problems related with time, is not available for exercising or not available for exercising with the required regularity and frequency for slimming.
The other commonly used methods, which are using weight loss medications or dieting by lessening the activity of eating, affect the health of individuals, especially when they are done without supervision of a doctor.
However in the usage of corset, there are various embodiments which are appropriate for intended uses. Corsets serving the purpose of looking slim and aesthetical, which is the main purpose of usage of the corsets, are present as disclosed in the patents with the publication no JP 7258903 and JP 2006291441. However, these inventions, as described, show the person slim just visually and just for the period of usage of the corsets. Furthermore, usage of these corsets are not attractive because of the difficulty and pain they cause during activities like walking, working etc. in daily life to the person who uses them. Also it does not provide permanent solutions to the individual.
Another present corset system, as disclosed in the patent with the publication no KR 20010017905, is the one which provides sweating the user and thus avoiding the layer of fat found under the skin and losing weight thanks to its material properties. These products are used for long periods of time and one should be careful about the food he/she eats during usage of these products. These types of corsets cause excessive water loss. The individual should consistently supplement water to his body.
Because of these deficiencies of the present systems, the need for providing slimming of the individual without affecting his/her life conditions and health have necessitated development in the related art.
Description of the Invention
The invention is developed by being inspired from the known status of the related art, and the purpose of the invention is to solve the problems mentioned above.
The first priority purpose of the invention is to provide slimming of the people, who want to slim down, without altering their common food regime and under doctor's supervision.
The purpose of the invention is to provide the feeling of being full up by eating less food by decreasing the volume of the stomach by the pressure made on the stomach of the person using the corset by the balloon structure placed on the corset. Therefore the person will be able to eat what he/she desires to eat.
The balloon pressure of the balloon structure of the invention is aimed to be adjustable with a valve placed on it. Moreover, adjusting the corset according to the physical properties of the individual and increasing or decreasing of the pressure of the balloon is aimed via American bands placed on the corset.
Another purpose of the invention is to provide the use of the product as a normal corset by deflation of the balloon structure. In order to achieve the above said purposes, the invention comprises a balloon which is placed at the middle part of the corset between the first and the second layers of the corset inner surface, which reduces the volume of the stomach of the user by making pressure on it, which has a geometrical shape, preferably a triangular shape, and which is made of a thermoplastic material, preferably polyurethane.
In order to achieve the above said purposes, the said balloon comprises a balloon valve which is placed on the outer side of the corset across the outer surface of the corset.
In order to achieve the above said purposes, the said corset comprises a corset middle portion which has a wider space than the corset arms such that it covers the abdominal part of the body of the user.
In order to achieve the above said purposes, the second layer of the said outer surface and the inner surface comprise a valve hole which is formed in order to be able to reach the balloon valve.
In order to achieve the above said purposes, the said corset comprises an American band which is placed at the middle portion of the corset and which provides fastening of the corset following its adjustment to the desired body size.
In order to achieve the above said purposes, the said corset comprises a corset lacing, which provides adjustment of the body size and which has an edge on the outer surface of the corset and another edge on the free part of the American band fastening up the body size.
In order to achieve the above said purposes, the invention comprises fastener holes formed at the outer surface of the corset in order to provide fastening of the corset fasteners.

Detailed Description of the Invention
The invention is a corset which helps slimming of people under doctor's supervision without giving up from eating the food they desire.
The invention consists of two surfaces. The first one is the inner surface (1), while the second one is the outer surface (2).
The inner surface (1) consists of two layers. The inner surface (1) is obtained by sewing the two 100% cotton fabric, the first layer (4) and the second layer (5) on each other. A balloon (8) structure is placed between the two layers (4, 5) and on the abdominal body region of the user (the 12x10 cm area which lays starting from the lower front edge of the middle line of the chest cage). The balloon (8) consists of two layers. The outer layer (9) is obtained from 100% cotton fabric towel weave cloth. However, the inner layer (10) is formed of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) material. Therefore it is provided to be strong against the pressure that shall be formed in the balloon (8). Furthermore, a valve (11) made of TPU material is placed on the balloon (8) in order to blow up and deflate it. The valve (11) can be reached from outside thanks to the valve hole (3) formed at the second layer (5) of the inner surface.
The 80% of the outer surface (2) of the corset is made of %100 cotton, and the remaining 20% is made of a mixture (25% viscous, 30% rubber, 45% polyester) having elastic properties.
The outer surface (2) is fastened by being placed over the side of the inner surface (1) that has the valve (11) on it, and thus the corset is formed. By bringing the valve (11) out of the hole (3) found on the outer surface (2), the valve (11) can be reached when desired.
The body size of the corset is adjusted at the outer side (2) of the corset via the American band (12), which is placed at the middle portion (6) of the corset fitting on the stomach region, and via the corset lacing (13) connected to it. When the fasteners (13) are pulled and the desired body size is obtained, the American bands (12) are fastened by being attached. The said fasteners (13) are fastened on the outer surface (2) of the corset via the fastener holes (14).
The corset balloon (8) is fitted over the 12x10 cm area which lays starting from the lower front edge of the middle line of the chest cage, and which is called the stomach.
The corset balloon (8) can be blown up through a simple hand pump (15), when desired. Moreover, the inner pressure of the balloon (8) can be measured via a manometer.
When the user wears the corset and fastens the corset arms (7) with each other, the balloon (8) provides pressure on the stomach of the user and reduces the volume of the stomach. When the person wearing the corset eats food, his/her stomach is filled up quicker than normal, and the information of being filled up is transmitted to the brain. Therefore, the desire of eating of the user is controlled by providing the feeling of being filled up early. When the usage of the corset is kept on under doctor's supervision, the user can lose weight.
The protection area of this application has been specified under claims and cannot be limited to the descriptions only given as sampling above. It is obvious that a person skilled in the related art can apply the innovation disclosed by this invention into similar purposed other areas by means of changing the parts in form and using similar structures. Therefore, it is also clear that such embodiments lack of novelty criteria.

Claims

1. The invention is a corset which helps providing a better physical appearance by wrapping the human body with its elastic structure and helps losing weight and it is characterized in that; it comprises a balloon (8) which is placed at the middle portion
(6) of the corset between the first and the second layers (4, 5) of the inner surface (1), and which reduces the volume of the stomach of the user by applying pressure on it.
2. A corset according to Claim 1 and it is characterized in that; it comprises a balloon (8) having a geometrical shape, preferably a triangular shape.
3. A corset according to Claim 1 and 2 and it is characterized in that; it comprises a balloon (8) which is made of thermoplastic material, preferably thermoplastic polyurethane.
4. A corset according to any one of the above claims and it is characterized in that; the said balloon (8) comprises a balloon valve (11) which is formed on the side of the corset which is across the outer surface (8) of the corset.
5. A corset according to any one of the above claims and it is characterized in that; the said corset comprises corset middle portion (6) having a wider area than the corset arms (7), such that it shall cover the abdominal region of the user.
6. A corset according to any one of the above claims and it is characterized in that; the second layer (5) of the said outer surface (2) and the inner surface (1) comprises a valve hole (3) which is formed in order to be able to reach the balloon valve (11).
7. A corset according to any one of the above claims and it is characterized in that; it comprises an American band (12) which is placed at the corset middle portion (6) and which provides fastening of the corset following its adjustment to the desired body size.
8. A corset according to any one of the above claims and it is characterized in that; it comprises a corset lacing (13), which provides adjustment of the body size and which has an edge on the outer surface (2) of the corset and another edge on the free part of the American band (12) fastening up the body size.
9. A corset according to any one of the above claims and it is characterized in that; it comprises fastener holes (14) formed at the outer surface (2) of the corset in order to provide fastening of the corset fasteners (13).
