Abstract

A music system including a processor system; an input signal interface for receiving sensor data carrying information about the environment in which the music system is being operated; and a memory system for storing a music composition comprising a plurality of audio files and control parameters, wherein the control parameters indicate how the audio files are to be ordered and grouped, wherein the processor system is programmed to generate from the music composition and control data derived from the sensor data a music track, the music track being a sequence of audio files assembled from audio files selected from the plurality of audio files, wherein the presence, order, and grouping of the audio files in the sequence of audio files is determined by both the stored control parameters and the sensor data received through the input signal interface.
