  • the housing (6) comprises a protrusion (13) on its right side, the position of which is selected to ensure the removal of the pin (9) or the protrusion (12) from the grooves (4) on the bar (1).
  • the housing (6) comprises a protrusion (14) on its left side which ensures the position of the stationary jaw (8) relative to the housing (6) when the stationary jaw assembly (2) is removed from the bar (1).
  • the present invention is used as a clamping tool when the stationary jaw assembly (2) is positioned on the left end of the bar (1), and as a tightening tool when the stationary jaw assembly (2) is positioned on the right end of the bar (1).
  • the movable jaw assembly (3) comprises a housing (15) to which the movable jaw (16) and the rear handle (17) are fixed, one or more drive levers (18) mounted in the housing (15) so that to slide along or be fixed on the bar (1), a locking lever (20) mounted in the front of the housing (15) and spring-loaded relative to it via a spring (19), and a drive handle (21) mounted in the housing (15) so that to pivot about it.
  • the housing (15) comprises a longitudinal thorough groove, similar to the one on the housing (6) of the stationary jaw assembly (2), by means of which the movable jaw assembly (3) can slide along the bar (1) easily (FIG. 2).
  • Two cylindrical surfaces (22) are designed on the upper part of the drive handle (21) enabling the handle (21) to be attached to the housing (15) by means of the cylindrical incomplete (not run-through) holes (23) on the side surfaces of the housing (15), thus providing the aforementioned pivot of the handle (21) about the housing (15).
  • the pin (24) fixed on the drive handle (21) is designed to exert force on the drive levers (18) (FIG. 2, 3).
  • a pressure spring (25) is positioned in the cavity of the housing (15) of the movable jaw assembly (3), between the right wall of said cavity and the last of the drive levers (18). The drive levers (18) abut on the left wall of the cavity due to the stretching force of the spring (25) (FIG. 3).
  • the locking lever (20) is fixed on the bar (1) and positioned in the front of the housing (15).
  • the top of the locking lever (20) is positioned in the cavity of the housing (15) so that to pivot relative to the cavity (FIG. 3).
  • Such a position of the locking lever (20) prevents the movable jaw assembly (3) from moving along the bar (1) in a direction opposite to that of the stationary jaw assembly (2).
  • the fixed position of the locking lever (20) relative to the bar (1) while preventing the above-mentioned movement of the movable jaw assembly (3) along the bar (1) in a direction counter to that of the stationary jaw assembly (2), doesn't impede its movement towards the stationary jaw assembly (2).
  • the bar clamping and tightening tool is operated in the following way. To clamp a workpiece between the jaws (8) and (16), the following steps are performed:
  • the user positions the stationary jaw assembly (2) on the left end of the bar (1) by placing the bar (1) in the longitudinal hole of the housing (6) and pushing the stationary jaw assembly (2) to the right.
  • the pin (9) abuts on the facet (5) of the bar (1) and makes the stationary jaw (8) pivot clockwise about the axle (7) until the pin (9) rises on the bar (1).
  • the stationary jaw assembly (2) further moves along the bar (1) to the left until the pin (9) reaches the groove (4) on the bar (1), after which the stationary jaw (8) pivots counter-clockwise about the axle (7) due to the stretching force of the springs (10), the pin (9) enters the groove (4) and fixes the stationary jaw assembly (2) to the left end of the bar
  • the user places the workpiece between the jaws (8) and (16). While holding the drive (21) and the rear (17) handles of the movable jaw assembly (3), the user forcibly pushes the drive handle (21) to the rear handle (17) due to which the drive handle (21) pivots about the housing (15) and clamps the drive levers (18) by means of the pin (24) fixed on the handle (21). As a result, the drive levers (18) turn relative to the bar (1) and fix on it, becoming a support for the further movement of the movable jaw assembly (3).
  • the further turn of the drive handle (21) which is limited on the right by its contact with the rear handle (17), causes the movable jaw assembly (3) to move along the bar (1) towards the stationary jaw assembly (2), clamping the workpiece between the jaws (8) and (16).
  • the movable jaw assembly (3) When force is no longer exerted on the drive handle (21), the movable jaw assembly (3) remains immovable on the bar (1) due to the fixed position of the locking lever (20), providing both the position of the movable jaw assembly (3) relative to the stationary jaw assembly (2) and the clamping force between the jaws (8) and (16).
  • the positioning of the stationary jaw assembly (2) on the right end of the bar (1) is realized in the same way as on the left end.
  • the user performs the aforementioned last four steps necessary for clamping the workpiece to tighten a workpiece between the jaws (8) and (16).
  • the same succession of steps for releasing a clamped workpiece also releases a tightened workpiece.

Abstract

La présente invention porte sur des outils de blocage et de serrage à actionnement manuel. L'invention porte sur un outil de blocage et de serrage de barre, comprenant une barre, un ensemble mâchoire immobile qui peut être fixé sur et libéré de l'une ou l'autre des extrémités de la barre et comprend une mâchoire immobile montée dans et chargée par ressort par rapport au boîtier de l'ensemble mâchoire immobile, un ensemble mâchoire mobile qui peut coulisser le long de la barre et comprend un boîtier auquel une mâchoire mobile et une poignée arrière sont fixées, une poignée d'entraînement montée dans le boîtier de l'ensemble mâchoire mobile de telle sorte qu'elle peut pivoter autour dudit boîtier, des leviers d'entraînement qui sont montés dans et chargés par ressort par rapport au boîtier de l'ensemble mâchoire mobile et qui peuvent coulisser le long de la barre et être fixés à celle-ci, un levier de verrouillage monté à l'avant du boîtier de l'ensemble mâchoire mobile, la mâchoire immobile pouvant pivoter autour du boîtier de l'ensemble mâchoire immobile et comprenant un moyen pour être fixée sur la barre. L'efficacité d'utilisation est accrue.
