Abstract

This invention relates to a display managing system to be used in conjunction with a display device including a display region for managing the division of the display region into two or more sub-regions where one or more broadcast channels are displayed. A processor is used for operating the display region, the operating including displaying a first broadcast channel on the display region. A display area definer is provided for defining at 5 least a first sub-region from the display region. The at least first defined sub-region and the remaining portion of the display region act as independent display sub-regions. The processor operates the display device so as to displaying the incoming broadcast channels at the respective display sub-regions.
