Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a control device for a continuously variable transmission, and more particularly to control of a continuously variable transmission including a hydraulic clutch that is engaged when a garage shift operation is performed by a passenger.
  • a continuously variable transmission such as a belt-type continuously variable transmission that continuously changes gears by connecting a primary pulley and a secondary pulley with a metal belt and changing the width of these pulleys.
  • CVT Continuously Variable
  • Some vehicles equipped with this belt-type continuously variable transmission travel forward only when a forward clutch provided between the engine and the engine is engaged, and travel backward only when a reverse brake is engaged. .
  • the shift lever is in a non-traveling position (for example, “N” position)
  • the hydraulic pressure is drained and the forward clutch and the reverse brake are released.
  • a control device disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2007-177832 controls a vehicle in which a belt-type continuously variable transmission is disposed in a power transmission path between a driving power source and driving wheels.
  • the vehicle includes a hydraulic engagement device capable of switching a power transmission path between a driving power source and the continuously variable transmission between a power transmission enable state and a power transmission cutoff state, and a hydraulic pressure applied to the hydraulic engagement device.
  • a first oil passage for supplying a first oil pressure regulated by a first solenoid valve in accordance with a predetermined rule for controlling a transient engagement state of the hydraulic engagement device.
  • a switching valve for switching to any one of a second oil passage for supplying a second oil pressure for bringing the hydraulic engagement device into a fully engaged state based on a signal oil pressure from the second electromagnetic valve;
  • a gear ratio control valve for controlling the hydraulic pressure to the actuator for changing the gear ratio of the machine based on the signal hydraulic pressure from the second electromagnetic valve.
  • This control device outputs a signal oil pressure for switching the switching valve to the first oil passage from the second electromagnetic valve when the garage shift is performed to shift from the non-traveling position to the traveling position.
  • the hydraulic pressure is supplied to the actuator via the gear ratio control valve so that the continuously variable transmission has a predetermined gear ratio regardless of the signal oil pressure for switching to one oil path.
  • This control device is used when the oil pressure of the actuator is not full when a garage shift is performed in a state where the belt of the continuously variable transmission does not return to the most decelerated position for setting the transmission gear ratio to the maximum transmission gear ratio. Controls the first solenoid valve such that the first hydraulic pressure is temporarily lowered below the hydraulic pressure according to a predetermined rule.
  • a control for rapidly increasing the hydraulic pressure temporarily (hereinafter referred to as the first fast) (Also referred to as fill control) to improve the control response of the hydraulic engagement device, then reduce the hydraulic pressure again, gradually increase the reduced hydraulic pressure, and gradually engage the hydraulic engagement device.
  • the control response of the hydraulic engagement device is already improved to some extent before the first fill control is performed by temporarily supplying the reduced hydraulic pressure. If fast fill control similar to that in the case of not performing temporary reduction) is performed, the hydraulic engagement device may be suddenly engaged during execution of the fast fill control, and a shock may occur.
  • the present invention has been made in order to solve the above-described problems, and the object of the present invention is to determine whether the power between the power source and the drive wheels is in a transmission state or a non-transmission state based on the operation of the occupant. It is an object of the present invention to provide a control device and a control method capable of suppressing clutch engagement shock during a garage shift in a continuously variable transmission having a hydraulic clutch that can be switched to
  • a control device includes a continuously variable transmission including a hydraulic clutch that can switch power between a power source and a drive wheel to either a transmission state or a non-transmission state based on a passenger's operation. Control. This control device causes the clutch to wait in the non-transmission state when an operation is performed by the occupant to switch the clutch from the non-transmission state to the transmission state before a predetermined time elapses after the power source is started.
  • a reduction unit that temporarily reduces the hydraulic pressure supplied to the clutch, and a control response of the clutch at the end of the temporary reduction when the hydraulic pressure supplied to the clutch is increased after the temporary reduction by the reduction unit And a control unit that controls at least one of an increase amount and an increase time of the hydraulic pressure supplied to the clutch based on the state.
  • belt slippage may occur due to insufficient belt clamping pressure at the initial start of the power source. Therefore, if an occupant performs an operation (a garage shift) for switching the clutch from the non-transmission state to the transmission state before a predetermined time has elapsed after the power source is started, the clutch is made to wait in the non-transmission state. The hydraulic pressure supplied to the clutch is temporarily reduced. Thereby, the belt slip by the garage shift is prevented. When the hydraulic pressure that has been temporarily reduced is increased after a predetermined time has elapsed, since the reduced hydraulic pressure has been supplied, the control response of the clutch has already been improved to some extent.
  • the clutch may be suddenly engaged and a shock may occur. Therefore, when the hydraulic pressure supplied to the clutch is increased after the temporary reduction, the increase amount and the increase time of the hydraulic pressure supplied to the clutch based on the state relating to the control response of the clutch at the end of the temporary reduction. At least one of these is controlled. In this way, for example, when the control response of the clutch at the end of the temporary reduction is high, the increase amount of the supplied hydraulic pressure is reduced or the increase time is shortened, It is possible to prevent the clutch from being suddenly engaged immediately after the increase of the. Therefore, the clutch engagement shock at the time of garage shift can be suppressed.
  • control unit determines that the control response of the clutch is higher when the duration of the temporary reduction of the hydraulic pressure is longer than when the duration is short, and increases the hydraulic pressure supplied to the clutch. Decrease the amount and / or increase time.
  • control responsiveness of the clutch at the end of the temporary reduction of the hydraulic pressure is determined by the duration of the temporary reduction of the hydraulic pressure, and at least one of the increase amount and the increase time of the hydraulic pressure supplied to the clutch. Can be reduced.
  • the reduction unit is supplied to the clutch from a first timing at which the operation of switching the clutch to the transmission state is performed to a second timing at which a predetermined time has elapsed after the power source is started.
  • the control unit detects the time from the start of the power source to the first timing, and increases the hydraulic pressure supplied to the clutch after the second timing, from the start of the power source to the first timing. When the time is short, at least one of the increase amount and the increase time of the hydraulic pressure supplied to the clutch is lowered as compared with the case where the time is long.
  • the clutch is supplied to the clutch from the first timing at which the operation of switching the clutch to the transmission state (garage shift) is performed until the second timing at which a predetermined time has elapsed after the power source is started.
  • the hydraulic pressure is temporarily reduced. Therefore, the time from the start of the power source to the first timing is detected, and when the detected time is short, at least one of the increase amount and the increase time of the hydraulic pressure supplied to the clutch is compared with the case where the detected time is long. Will be reduced. Therefore, when the duration of temporary reduction of the hydraulic pressure is long, at least one of the increase amount and the increase time of the hydraulic pressure supplied to the clutch can be reduced as compared with the case where the duration is short.
  • the continuously variable transmission is a belt type continuously variable transmission. According to the present invention, it is possible to prevent belt slippage during the garage shift of the belt type continuously variable transmission.

Description

駆動装置100は、後述するECU(Electronic Control Unit)900により制御される。
これにより、伝動ベルト510の掛かり径が変更され、変速比GR(=プライマリプーリ回転数NIN/セカンダリプーリ回転数NOUT)が連続的に変化させられる。
 ECU900は、CPU(Central Processing Unit)、メモリおよび入出力インターフェースなどを含む。
