Abstract

This aims to provide a condensing-function thermoelectric generation device (101) comprising a thermoelectric conversion module (1) having p-type thermoelectric materials (23) and n-type thermoelectric materials (24) arranged in a block of an insulating material such that they repeat pn-junctions alternately, and a secondary battery (2) connected electrically with the thermoelectric conversion module (1) so that it can be charged with an electric current generated by the thermoelectric conversion module (1). The thermoelectric conversion module (1) and the secondary battery (2) are constituted integrally with each other. More preferably, the thermoelectric generation device (101) further comprises a charge monitor module (5) including a decision unit for monitoring whether or not the charge has been completed, and a charge pro/con switching unit for stopping, when the charge is completed, the charge of the secondary battery (2) by the thermoelectric conversion module (1).
