Abstract

A fluid type power transmission device in which a rise in entrance and exit pressures in a high speed ratio region is suppressed and a decrease in entrance pressure in a low speed ratio region to a level lower than or equal to a predetermined pressure is suppressed. A pressure regulation device for the fluid type power transmission device has a torque converter (62) having an entrance (13) and an exit (14) for fluid and transmitting power by circulation of the fluid in the torque converter (62), and control means (2) for regulating the pressure at the exit (14) of the torque converter (62) to control the pressure at the entrance (13).
