Description

BAHNFORMIGES MATERIAL RAILWAY MATERIAL
TECHNISCHES GEBIETTECHNICAL AREA
The invention relates to a sheet-like material according to the preamble of claim 1.
STAND DER TECHNIKSTATE OF THE ART
Corresponding material webs - as shown by way of example in FIG. 1 - generally have a fabric 1 with warp and weft threads 1b or 1a, with the warp threads 1b in a direction b parallel to the running or main processing direction x and the weft threads 1a in one direction a run perpendicular to this.
DIE ERFINDUNGEspecially with dynamic loads such fabrics or webs kinks occur in the material, so that under continuous stress, the tissue is weakened in the bending area and ultimately destroyed. This is particularly the case with materials, such as pleated bellows, which are always kinked at the same points due to their use. THE INVENTION
Object of the present invention is therefore to provide a sheet-like material of the type mentioned, in which the buckling strength is improved compared with the previous solutions and thus a longer life can be achieved.
This problem is solved by the features of claim 1. Advantageous embodiments can be found in the subclaims.
According to the invention it is provided that at least one fabric layer is provided, whose yarn direction is arranged angled to the direction of travel of the material web. Preferably, this angle is about 45 °, but other angles are also possible. If the material according to the invention is bent in parallel to the running or main processing direction, the forces acting particularly strongly on individual threads in conventional material webs are more evenly distributed to the available threads. The stress of individual threads is thereby reduced, so that the buckling strength of the material is increased.
KURZBESCHREIBUNG DER ZEICHNUNGSABBILDUNGAs an alternative or in addition, it is also possible to use scrims made from a plurality of thread systems which have threads arranged at an angle to the running direction. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWING FIGURE
The invention will be explained in more detail below with reference to FIG 2, which shows a possible section of a material web according to the invention.
BESTER WEG ZUR AUSFUHRUNG DER ERFINDUNGBEST WAY TO IMPLEMENT THE INVENTION
Polyurethanfolien) beschichtet werden .The material web 1 shown here by way of example has first and second threads Ia, Ib, which run at an angle to the running direction x. Thus, on the user side, the material web 1 can be cut to length, the main processing direction of the material according to the invention corresponding to the running direction x, so that the material web 1 can be processed largely free of waste. The main processing direction is the direction in which the material 1 is stressed dynamically or statically. The illustrated threads Ia, Ib, which extend in the directions A and B at an angle to the direction x or to the transverse direction y of the material web 1, according to a possible embodiment consist essentially of synthetic fiber materials such as arabamide, polyester or a Combination of this. However, other materials and blended fabrics are also conceivable. The preferred angle of the yarn directions a, b, to the direction x is 45 °, in other cases, other directions are conceivable; In particular when using layers as carrier material, several angles deviating from the direction of travel can be used. The material web 1 is preferably formed as a one or both sides coated and / or multilayer material with a fabric or thread system 1 as a carrier material, wherein for example polyurethane or polyvinyl chloride can be used as the coating material. Furthermore, this material web 1 can also be coated with film materials (eg polyurethane films).
The material is particularly suitable for use as bellows material for bellows, in which case the loading direction of the bellows is mainly the running direction x. The material according to the invention is suitable for all applications in which the material is exposed to high buckling loads.
