Abstract

 高速回転・軽荷重など幅広い使用条件でスミアリング損傷の防止を図ると共に、軸支持装置の組み立てを容易にする。  回転軸とハウジング1との間に円筒ころ軸受を組み込む軸支持装置において、前記ハウジング1の内径面1aと前記円筒ころ軸受の外輪2の外径面2aとに、アキシアル方向に沿った凹部1b,2bを前記円筒ころ軸受を組み込んだ状態で向き合うように形成し、それら向き合う凹部1b,2b間に挿入する予圧調整部品3を備え、その予圧調整部品3の挿入部分を、アキシアル方向の軸線回りの回転角に応じてラジアル寸法が増大する領域を有するラジアル断面形状とし、前記予圧調整部品3を前記軸線回りに回転させることにより、前記向き合う凹部1b,2b間に介在した状態で前記外輪2を内径側に圧迫して前記円筒ころ軸受のラジアルすきまを負側に増大させ、その増大させた状態で前記予圧調整部品3を回り止めする。
