很多移动运营商很早就看中这块市场,但是苦于没有一个合适的收费方 式。 移动运营商为了介入到 Wlan局域网中, 提出了一种 EAP-SIM 的鉴权 方式, 即通过 SIM卡(或者 USIM卡)来进行 Wlan接入的鉴权。
目前笔记本的 Wlan网卡是不带有 SIM卡插座的,只能通过别的途径将 Wlan网卡和带有 SIM卡的终端关联起来。 目前市面上有一种智能卡读卡器 ( SIM reader )的设备, 操作系统(OS, Operating System )上的智能卡管理 软件可以通过智能卡读卡器来进行 Wlan接入所用的 EAP-SIM鉴权。 笔记 本上 Wlan网卡作为接入终端; SIM reader作为承载 SIM卡的鉴权终端; OS 上的 Wlan管理软件作为 Wlan网卡管理和 SIM reader鉴权管理软件。

综上所述, 本发明利用 3G无线数据卡提供的 SIM卡或 UIM卡插槽, 省去了一个外接的智能卡读卡器, 用一个 3G无线数据卡既实现了 3G网卡 的鉴权和接入, 也实现了 Wlan网络的鉴权和接入, 从而使移动用户获得极 大的方便, 同时也非常有利于移动运营商扩展 Wlan市场。
当然, 本发明还可有其他多种实施例, 在不背离本发明精神及其实质的 形, 但这些相应的改变和变形都应属于本发明所附的权利要求的保护范围。 如所述终端即可以使用电脑, 也可以使用如 PDA, 手机等其它智能设备。 又如所述无线数据卡也可以内置于电脑中等等。
工业实用性 本发明适用于通用移动通信系统 ( Universal Mobile Telecommunications
System )的任何移动网络, 包括 TD-SCDMA、 WCDMA、 CDMA2000, GSM。 通过一个 3G无线数据卡实现 WLAN无线局域网与 3G移动网的互联或安全 桥接通信。
Claims
1、 一种可选择接入移动网络或者无线局域网的终端, 其特征在于, 所 述终端包括电脑、 无线局域网 Wlan 网卡及无线数据卡, 所述电脑与 Wlan 网卡和无线数据卡同时连接, 所述无线数据卡包括一智能卡读卡器, 所述电 脑具有一管理模块, 用于对所述 lan网卡和所述无线数据卡统一管理, 当 使用所述 Wlan网卡接入所述无线局域网时, 通过所述智能卡读卡器获取用 户识别模块中的鉴权数据, 完成无线局域网接入时的鉴权。
2、 根据权利要求 1所述的终端, 其特征在于:
所述 Wlan网卡内置于所述电脑中或连接到所述电脑的外部接口上; 所 述无线数据卡内置于所述电脑中或连接到所述电脑的外部接口上。
3、 根据权利要求 1所述的终端, 其特征在于:
所述无线数据卡通过 PCMCIA接口和所述电脑连接, 包括一主机控制 器, 与所述主机控制器连接的一主机集线器, 所述主机集线器连接的一调制 解调器、一外部接口和一所述智能卡读卡器, 所述智能卡读卡器具有一用户 识别模块的插槽。
4、 根据权利要求 3所述的终端, 其特征在于:
所述主机控制器为 USB主机控制器, 所述主机集线器为 USB主机集线 器, 所述调制解调器为 USB调制解调器, 所述外部接口为 USB串口, 所述 智能卡读卡器为 USB智能卡读卡器。
5、 根据权利要求 3所述的终端, 其特征在于:
所述管理模块支持所述调制解调器、 外部接口、 智能卡读卡器和 Wlan 网卡的管理, 并具有相应的操作界面; 其中, 管理所述调制解调器以实现拨 号上网和 Π>数据的传输; 管理所述外部接口以实现所述调制解调器配置和 初始化; 管理所述智能卡读卡器以实现通过 Wlan网卡接入的 EAP-SIM鉴 权和认证,以及通过无线数据卡接入的移动网的鉴权和认证;管理所述 Wlan 网卡以实现 Wlan网络的热点搜寻、 网絡选择、 网络连接和信号强度显示。
6、 一种在一个终端上选择接入移动网络或者无线局域网的方法, 包括 以下步骤:
( a )将电脑与用以接入无线局域网的 Wlan网卡和用以接入移动网的无 线数据卡同时连接, 所述无线数据卡具有一智能卡读卡器;
( b ) 所述终端启动后, 获取并显示无线局域网和移动网的网络信息;
( c )所述终端在用户选择通过所述无线局域网接入到因特网的情况下, 通过所述无线数据卡上的智能卡读卡器获取用户识别模块中的鉴权数据,完 成无线局域网接入时的鉴权。
7、 根据权利要求 6所述的方法, 其特征在于:
在选择通过无线局域网接入后,如终端移动到没有无线局域网覆盖的区 域, 可以自动通过无线数据卡拨号, 切换到移动网来接入, 从而保证通信的 连续。
8、 根据权利要求 6或 7所述的方法, 其特征在于:
所述无线数据卡包括一主机控制器,与所述主机控制器连接的一主机集 线器, 以及所述主机集线器之下连接的一调制解调器、一外部接口和一智能 卡读卡器。
9、 根据权利要求 8所述的方法, 其特征在于:
在所述电脑上设置有一管理模块, 通过相应的才喿作界面实现以下管理: 管理所述调制解调器以实现拨号上网和 IP数据的传输; 管理所述外部接口 以实现所述调制解调器配置和初始化; 管理所述智能卡读卡器以实现通过 Wlan网卡接入的 EAP-SIM鉴权和认证,以及通过无线数据卡接入的移动网 的鉴权和认证; 管理所述 Wlan网卡以实现 Wlan网络的热点搜寻、 网络选 择、 网络连接和信号强度显示。
