Abstract
本発明は、サンプリング29、観測部30、補正部32、結果取得部34等を備えることにより、精度の高い追跡を行う視覚追跡装置である。 サンプリング部29は、ひとつ前の画像フレームについて推定された確率密度分布を用いてパーティクルを生成または消滅させる。観測部30は、パーティクルを所定の運動モデルにより遷移させ、それによって与えられる候補曲線の尤度を観測する。補正部32は、候補曲線と所定の位置関係にある領域のカラーヒストグラムと、ひとつ前の画像フレームの追跡結果の曲線の、同様の位置関係にある領域のカラーヒストグラムとを比較し、一致率が所定の値以上であれば尤度を増加させるように補正する。結果取得部34は、尤度に基づき確率密度分布を推定する。
