Abstract
A heat exchanger tube plate (100) comprising: a planar portion (110) having an upper (111) and lower (112) surface; and a plurality of hollow cylindrical protrusions (120) extending from the upper surface (111) of the planar portion (110), each protrusion (120) being configured to receive a tube, wherein each protrusion (120) has a receiving portion (130) having a first wall thickness (t1) and a flexible portion (140) having a second wall thickness (t2) less than the first wall thickness (t1), the flexible portion (140) extending between the receiving portion (130) and the upper surface (111) of the planar portion (110) of the tube plate (100).
