Abstract

A windmill comprising, in order to provide a omni-directional windmill in which air stream receiving surface efficiency is enhanced that is effective for the rotation of blades, blades (21) each consisting of a plurality of wing members and fixed to a blade-use rotary shaft (25), wherein a fan duct (23) is installed on the windward side and in front of the windmill, and the fan duct (23) has an exhaust port with a sectional area (B) smaller than that (A) of an inlet port, whereby the windmill is so constituted as to allow an air stream from the exhaust port to impinge against the surfaces of wing members effective for the rotation of the blades (21) of the windmill.
