The invention relates to electrical engineering. Said invention makes it possible to reduce the production cost of electric lightbulbs and to improve the quality thereof. The inventive electric lightbulb comprises a bulb, a cap and a light source arranged in the bulb, wherein the cap consists of internal and external threaded parts connected by means of a spring lock. An insulator with a contact plate is arranged in the internal part of a body. A groove, in which said spring lock is located, is made on the side surface of the insulator. A holding device, for preventing the cap parts from rotating with respect to each other in one direction, is provided. The open end area of the internal part of the cap is threaded.
