Abstract

The invention relates to a citric fruit squeezer comprising a ramp for supplying halves of citric fruit, and two rotating rollers respectively having complementary concave and convex surfaces and arranged one above the other. The upper roller has a concave semi-spherical surface (female) comprising a plurality of rods, and the lower roller has a convex surface (male) comprising a plurality of rods, both surfaces defining a space through which the halves of citrus fruit can pass in order to be squeezed and ejected through the rotating rollers. Said rollers are driven by a plurality of gear wheels in the form of rotating toothed wheels which are, in turn, driven by an electric motor, said gear elements and the motor being arranged behind the cover on which the rollers are mounted. The entire driving and squeezing assembly is arranged behind a housing containing a juice collecting tray in the lower part thereof.
