Abstract
カテーテル本体10と、制御ハンドル20と、カテーテル先端部30と、複数のリング状電極41とを備えてなる電極カテーテルであって、カテーテル先端部30は、遠位方向に延びて遠位端30Dに至る直線状の基端側領域31と、遠位端30Dから基端側領域31の周りにループ(第1のループ321・第2のループ322)を形成しながら近位方向に延びる螺旋状の本体領域32とを有する電極カテーテルである。 この電極カテーテルによれば、カテーテル先端部30を先頭にして血管内に押し込む際に、当該カテーテル先端部30が変形しにくく、また、血管内にスムーズに押し込むことができる。
