Abstract

 本発明に係る光源の点灯または消灯制御装置は、点灯または消灯のタイミング信号の入力部と、前記タイミング信号の立上りまたは立下りに応答してフィラメントの点灯または消灯における発光の立上りまたは立下りを模してデューティーサイクルが変化するパルス信号を発生するPWM信号発生部と、前記PWM信号発生部のパルス信号に応答して発光部を制御する発光制御部と、前記PWM信号発生部によるデューティーサイクル制御のための制御データテーブルを記憶する記憶部とを有して成り、前記制御データテーブルは、発光の立上がり時に参照される立上げテーブルと、発光の立下がり時に参照される立下げテーブルを含んでおり、かつ、前記立上げテーブルと前記立下げテーブルは、それぞれ、前記タイミング信号の立上がりまたは立下がりからの経過時間と前記パルス信号のデューティサイクルとを対応付けたものであって、かつ、両テーブルの関係が互いに重ね合わせ不能であることを特徴とする。
