Abstract

A transmitter which can enhance a chance that a peer communication terminal device properly receives the contents data to be transferred without fail even in the case of variation in the data transfer environment within quite a short communication period of time in a short-haul radio communication, and which can avoid reduction in the user satisfaction even when the peer communication terminal device cannot receive all of the contents data properly. A memory section (130) on the transmitter classifies, for storage, the contents data to be sent to the peer communication terminal device into the first contents data of high importance, high priority or high essentiality in accordance with the importance, priority or whether or not the data must be transferred without fail and the second contents data of low importance, low priority or low essentiality for which failure in transfer is permitted over a wider range of tolerance than the first contents data. Upon start of communication, a transmission data transfer section (141) transfers the data to a transmitter section (150) in the order of the second contents data and the first contents data.
