Abstract

The present invention relates to a rescue device, of the type comprising at least one inflatable element (1), having at least two configurations, one being compact, termed first configuration, when said element is in the non-inflated state, and the other, termed second configuration, forming a craft, when said element is in the inflated state, said craft comprising at least one annular structure (2) and a seat-forming bottom. According to the invention, said seat-forming bottom is formed by a pocket (3), of the sheath or pocket type, of which the free edge is secured in a sealed manner to the annular structure (2), said pocket (3) being open towards the inside of the annular structure, this pocket extending, when the annular structure is in the inflated state, below said annular structure in the manner of a keel, the inside volume of said pocket forming the seat of said craft.
