Apparatus for carrying out multicomponent injection-moulding processes, in particular two-component injection-moulding processes, characterized in that one or more further plastifying unit(s) has/have been integrated in the mould.

Description

Integrated tool plasticizing

The invention relates to a device for performing multi-component injection molding process, in particular two-component injection molding process.

expensive injection molding machines have so far been necessary for the implementation of multi-component injection molding process, having respective plasticising and shaped parts according to the number of the components.

The object of the invention to equip a conventional injection molding tool in such a way that also can be processed a second or more components on a simple casting machine.

The invention is therefore an apparatus for performing multi-component injection molding process, in particular two-component injection molding process, characterized in that one or more additional plasticising unit (s) is integrated in the tool (are).

The plasticizing may be a conventional injection unit with screw, piston or a hot melt applicator. The Plasticising can therefore have a simple construction, the module can be adapted for processing the molding composition to the shot weight. an injection unit with worm is particularly preferably used as a plasticizing unit.

In multi-component injection molding machines for such an adjustment is impossible or very costly possible.

The Plasticising is integrated in the tool and can be installed with appropriate dimensioning in the core. The temperature control can be carried out by the machine controller, or may be both heated and cooled separately by an external temperature control, wherein.

The necessary movements of the Plastifizeireinheit can be hydraulically, pneumatically or electrically controlled.

Due to the integrated into the tool additional plasticizing or more plasticizing a plurality of different molding materials can be processed separately or simultaneously.

This can easily, for example,

Surface coatings, reactive materials such as foamed materials, gaskets and the like can be applied in one operation. It is also possible molding materials of different colors to be processed in one operation, wherein only partial regions are performed in a different color.

Furthermore, reactive compounds, for example, one-component system can be processed, can be introduced via the tool-integrated plasticizing unit of the initiator and the crosslinking takes place in the mold.

claims:
injection molding 1) apparatus for performing multi-component, in particular two-component injection molding process, characterized in that in the tool one or more additional plasticising unit (s) is integrated (are).
2) Device according to claim 1, characterized in that the plasticizing unit is a conventional injection unit with screw, piston or a hot melt applicator.
3) Device according to one of claims 1 or 2, characterized in that the plasticizing unit is situated in the core of the injection mold.
4) Device according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the plasticizing unit is temperature-controlled via the temperature control of the tool.
5) Device according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the plasticizing unit is temperature-controlled via a separate temperature control circuit.
6) Device according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the plasticizing unit is adapted to the weight of the shot to be processed molding material.
7) Device according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the plasticizing unit is part of the tool. ) Device according to one of claims 1 to 7, characterized in that, the necessary movements of the plasticizing unit are hydraulically, pneumatically or electrically controlled.
