Abstract

The invention relates to the distribution of advertising information messages by means of a proprietary program used in mobile telephones. The inventive method for distributing advertising information messages consists in loading, by a distributer, his proprietary program into a subscriber's mobile communication device, thereby enabling said subscriber to receive advertising information messages, in transmitting the advertising information messages to the subscriber, in receiving messages by the subscriber and in screening them on the mobile device thereof. With the agreement of the subscriber, advertising materials in the form of advertising banners are remotely delivered to the technical area of the mobile telephone screen. The proprietary program of the distributer is loaded in the cellular telephone of the subscriber in the form of a program which makes it possible to carry out the survey of the user and/or to transmit to a server information about the viewed banners and/ or about actions relating to banner operation and/ or about the user's survey and/or to send and/or update banners according to the media planing of the advertiser and/or the subscriber's survey results. The proprietary program of the distributer enabling to receive the advertising information messages is produced on the server for a given subscriber and contains information about a telephone number, a password and the survey template or about the survey template only. The information about all actions with banners on the subscriber's mobile device is recorded in the memory of said mobile device and is transmitted to the server during exit from the above mentioned program or during the program run.

Description

 Method of advertising distribution

The invention relates to the field of distribution through the original program for mobile phones of advertising information messages, in particular, images with the consent of the subscriber.

There is a known method of sending personalized advertising information messages to users, based on the fact that suppliers and recipients of advertising information messages are registered at the central station and accounts are generated for suppliers and recipients of advertising information messages. By cash and / or wire transfer, money is received from suppliers for each advertising and information image that suppliers send to the user's terminal after receiving a corresponding request from him, together with the image of the message provider page. In the system that implements the known method, the number of messages received by users is recorded, after which the amounts for the delivery of these advertising and information messages are transferred to the settlement account of each registered user (see, for example, US patent 5933811, G 06 Q 30/00, 1999) .

The disadvantages of this method include the fact that users need to perform additional operations after registration at the terminal of the content provider, namely, refer to the resources of the suppliers of advertising and information messages. Thus, the user must have information about who the provider of this content provider is, as well as the address of the supplier’s resources. At the same time, users need to initiate the distribution of messages each time, which prevents the mass distribution and maximum reach of the target audience, while suppliers of advertising and information messages can only indirectly affect the qualitative and quantitative characteristics of the target audience.

There is also a known method of distributing advertising and informational messages, including downloading an advertisement by a distributor of a subscriber’s mobile device to an original advertising distributor program to receive advertising informational messages by a subscriber, sending advertising informational messages to a subscriber, and then receiving and viewing them a subscriber on his mobile device, (see, for example, KR20040084060, H 04 Q 7/32, 10/06/2004).

The disadvantage of this method is the inability to assess the effectiveness of advertising due to the lack of preliminary visual information about the presence of received multimedia advertising on a subscriber’s mobile device, ready for viewing by a subscriber, the lack of information from a distributor about viewing an advertising information message by a subscriber, and the provision of an advertising information message not in accordance with the wishes of the subscriber and not in accordance with the wishes of the advertiser.

The objective of the invention is to create such a method of distribution of advertising, in which it would be possible to obtain visual information about the presence of the received multimedia advertising on a mobile device, ready for viewing by the subscriber, providing the advertiser with information about the viewing by the subscriber of advertising information messages presented in accordance with the wishes of the subscriber (questionnaire ) and the wishes of the advertiser (media plan).

This task is achieved by the method of distribution of advertising, including downloading by the distributor of advertising on the subscriber’s mobile device the original program of the distributor of advertising to receive advertising information messages by the subscriber, sending the subscriber advertising information messages and subsequent receipt and viewing by the subscriber on his cell phone, at the same time, with the consent the subscriber remotely deliver advertising to the technical area of the mobile phone screen in the form of advertising banners, and in quality From the original program of the advertising distributor, a program is downloaded to the subscriber’s cell phone, which provides the questionnaire of the subscriber and the transfer of information to the server about the banners viewed by the subscriber, about the activities with the banners, about the subscriber’s questioning and updating the banners in accordance with the media plan of the advertising distributor and the results of the questionnaire survey.

And also by the fact that the original program of the advertising distributor for receiving advertising and informational messages is prepared on the server for a specific subscriber and contains information about the phone number, password and questionnaire template. As well as the fact that the original program of the advertising distributor for receiving advertising and informational messages is prepared on the server for a specific subscriber and contains information about the template of the questionnaire.

As well as the fact that information about all actions with banners on the subscriber’s mobile device is stored in the memory of the subscriber’s mobile device and transmitted to the server at the time of exit from the specified program or at the time of starting the specified program.

The method of distribution of advertising and informational messages is implemented as follows.

On the subscriber’s mobile device, for example, a cell phone, an original advertising distributor program is installed with the consent of the subscriber to receive advertising information messages by the subscriber. Moreover, if the subscriber is not a client of the company that distributes the advertisement, the original program of the advertisement distributor for receiving advertising and information messages is prepared on the server of the mobile operator for a particular subscriber, contains information about the phone number, password and questionnaire template and is provided when the subscriber contacts special mobile operator number. The subscriber can see / hear this number from another source of advertising. The subscriber can install the specified program on a cell phone from another source, for example, from the Internet or external media using CMC, WAP, GPRS. In this case, the specified program contains only a questionnaire template that allows conducting a survey of the subscriber to prepare the media plan of the distributor of advertising, taking into account the wishes of the subscriber.

The program may contain a pre-installed advertising package, which later, after the server receives the subscriber’s personal data, may change. The subscriber receives the first advertisement immediately after connecting to the server.

The original program installed on the subscriber’s mobile device provides questioning of the subscriber, delivery and receipt of advertising on the technical area of the mobile device’s screen in the form of advertising banners, as well as information transfer to the server about viewed banners, about activities with banners, about the subscriber’s questioning and updating of banners in accordance with the media plan of the advertising distributor and the results of the survey of the subscriber, i.e. allows you to evaluate the effectiveness of advertising. The program can update banners in compliance with the media plan. The subscriber can view the banner, follow the link, make a call, etc.

To receive a reward, the subscriber must enter the program menu, click on the file corresponding to the name of the advertiser, view this file, i.e. the advertisement contained in it, after viewing the advertising banner, or rather clicking (clicking) on the specified file, the system (operator) will send a reward for this pressing (viewing) to the subscriber’s personal account with the mobile operator.

Information about all actions with banners on the subscriber’s mobile device is stored in the memory of the subscriber’s mobile device in the program and transmitted to the server when the subscriber quits the specified program or, if the program was closed by force, the specified information is transferred at the time the specified program is launched or in any other moment, for example, in the background (at the request of the advertising distributor). The presence of such information allows the distributor of advertising to evaluate the effectiveness of advertising and quickly change its media plan if necessary. The indicated original program has externally the same menu structure as the programs available on many cell phones.

For each viewing of advertising, the subscriber is charged a monetary reward that accumulates on his account and can be used by the subscriber to pay for mobile communications.
