Abstract

 専門的観測所のみならず一般家庭向けの簡単な装置を用いることで地震を非常に高い精度で予知する地震予知装置(100)を提供する。当該地震予知装置(100)は、尻尾を有する動物の当該尻尾の動き量を計測する計測部(120)と、計測部(120)により計測された動き量が予め定められた閾値に達したか否かを判定し、前記動き量が前記閾値に達したと判定した場合に、地震が発生すると推定する地震判定部(130)とを備える。
