Abstract

 本発明に係るイオン液体の製造方法は、カチオン部位とアニオン部位とを組み合わせてなる溶融塩を含む溶融塩液に、下記一般式(1) (式中、R1~R4のうち少なくとも2つは、炭素数1~8のアルコキシ基を示し、残りは、水素原子または炭素数1~8のアルキル基を示す) で示される化合物を混合する水分除去工程を含む。これによって、親水性および疎水性を問わず、溶融塩液中に含まれる水分を除去できる。その結果、製造できるイオン液体の種類を制限することなく、低コストであり、容易かつ短時間に溶融塩液に含まれる水分を除去できるイオン液体の製造方法を提供する。
