Abstract

　動力伝達装置（１）は、互いに異なる軸線（Ｘ１、Ｘ２）の回りに回転可能であり、かつ隙間（１５）を空けて設けられた磁性材料製のドライブローラ（２）及びドリブンローラ（３）と、ローラ（２、３）を取り囲むケース（４）と、ケース（４）を貫いてローラ（２、３）のそれぞれと同軸に接続される入力軸（１６）及び出力軸（１７）と、隙間（１５）を埋めるようにしてケース（４）内に収容された磁性流体（１８）とを備える。磁気を発生する電磁コイル（２１）と、ドライブローラ（２）又はドリブンローラ（３）から隙間（１５）を介してドリブンローラ（３）又はドライブローラ（２）に向かう磁場（ＭＦ）が生じるように、電磁コイル（２１）が発生した磁気の磁路（２４）を形成する。
