Abstract

 本発明のクロックレス伝送システムは、ディスプレイ・コントローラ(101)と、ディスプレイ・ドライバ(106)と、を有する。ディスプレイ・コントローラ(101)は、シリアル化した画素データを符号化することによってクロックを多重化した通常データを、データ通信区間に画素データごとに出力するとともに、ブランキング区間に、予め決められた制御信号を出力するデータ送信回路(102)を具備する。ディスプレイ・ドライバ(106)は、ディスプレイ・コントローラ(101)からの通常データから画素データを出力し、制御信号の制御データに応じてクロック再生のためのフィードバックループのループゲインを通常データ受信時より大きくしてクロックを再生して出力するクロックデータ再生回路(107)と、画素データと再生されたクロックとを基にディスプレイを駆動するための信号を出力するディスプレイ駆動回路(109)と、を具備する。
