Abstract

　本発明のクロックレス伝送システムは、ディスプレイ・コントローラ（１０１）と、ディスプレイ・ドライバ（１０６）と、を有する。ディスプレイ・コントローラ（１０１）は、シリアル化した画素データを符号化することによってクロックを多重化した通常データを、データ通信区間に画素データごとに出力するとともに、ブランキング区間に、予め決められた制御信号を出力するデータ送信回路（１０２）を具備する。ディスプレイ・ドライバ（１０６）は、ディスプレイ・コントローラ（１０１）からの通常データから画素データを出力し、制御信号の制御データに応じてクロック再生のためのフィードバックループのループゲインを通常データ受信時より大きくしてクロックを再生して出力するクロックデータ再生回路（１０７）と、画素データと再生されたクロックとを基にディスプレイを駆動するための信号を出力するディスプレイ駆動回路（１０９）と、を具備する。
