Abstract

Described is a method for enabling redundancy in an access network, comprising: creating a first connection (40, 40a) between a first node (EN1) and a second node (RG1), between the first node and a third node (EN2) synchronize data that describes the first connection (40, 40a) by enabling a third node (EN2) to access connection data that describes the first connection after total or partial failure of the first node (EN1).
