Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Knabberartikel (1) mit im Wesentlichen knuspriger Struktur, welcher als Stimulanzmittel wenigstens Koffein enthält. Zur Herstellung eines derartigen Knabberartikels (1) wird vorgeschlagen, dass auf einen Kern (2) aus Material mit knuspriger Struktur zunächst eine erste den Kern (2) hydrophobierende Schicht (3) im Wesentlichen aus Pflanzenfett mit einem Ölanteil aufgebracht und darauf wenigstens eine zweite Schicht (4, 5), welche im Wesentlichen Zucker oder Zuckeraustauschstoff enthält, aufgebracht wird.
