Abstract
パティキュレートフィルタ5と選択還元型触媒6とを並列に配置し、パティキュレートフィルタ5の後端部から排出された排気ガス3を前方に折り返して隣の選択還元型触媒6の前端部に導入するS字構造の連絡流路9を設け、該連絡流路9の途中に尿素水添加用インジェクタ11を備えた排気浄化装置に関し、排気ガス3の流量が多くなっても尿素水を良好に分散させて排気ガス3との混合性を高め得るようにするため、連絡流路9の上流部分を成すミキシングパイプ9Bの後端部における周方向複数箇所に排気ガス3を導入するためのスリット12を穿設し、該各スリット12の周囲を被包し且つミキシングパイプ9Bの後端面を閉塞し得るようにガス集合室9Aの下流側端部9aをミキシングパイプ9Bの後端部に接続する。
