Abstract

A small-sized image blur correction device, a lens barrel, and an optical device. The image blur correction device (90) has a base (91), a two-group holding frame (92) movable relative to the base (91), in a plane normal to the optical axis (O2) of an imaging optical system, a drive section including a first VCM (94) that is placed on a first axis normal to the optical axis (O2) and a second VCM (95) that is placed on a second axis that is normal to the optical axis (O2) and intersects with the first axis and driving the two-group holding frame (92) relative to the base (91) in blur correction, Hall devices (96b, 97b) arranged on the opposite side of the optical axis (O2) from the drive section and detecting movement of the two-group holding frame (92) relative to the base (91) in blur correction, and a cutout (98) provided in a region located between the first axis and the second axis, at that portion of the region that is on the drive section side, and allowing a focus motor (80) to be placed in the cutout.
