Abstract

 新規な渦鞭毛藻ならびに新規な抗ガン剤となり得るマクロライド化合物を提供することを目的とする。本発明は、渦鞭毛藻アンフィジニウム(Amphidinium sp.)HYA002株又はHYA024株で表される渦鞭毛藻が産生するマクロライド化合物に関する。本発明のマクロライド化合物はヒトの腫瘍細胞に対して優れた増殖抑制効果を有しており、新規な抗ガン剤として利用可能である。
