Abstract

 常に正確にフィルタの異常を検出できる、排気濾過装置におけるフィルタの異常検出装置、及びその検出方法を提供することを目的とする。  上記目的を達成するため、内燃機関の排気通路に設けられ、排気中の微粒子を捕集するフィルタと、前記フィルタの上流側と下流側の間に生じる圧力差を検出する差圧センサとを備えた排気浄化装置であり、前記内燃機関の運転状態に基づき前記フィルタの上下流での圧力差の値を算出する差圧値算出手段と、前記差圧センサによって検出された前記フィルタの上下流間での圧力差の実測値と前記差圧値算出手段からの算出差圧値との差Pの値を算出し、該差Pと閾値を比較して、前記フィルタに異常があることを検出する判定手段とを具えて排気浄化装置の異常検出装置を構成した。
