Abstract

 内壁1aの冷却孔2aに樹脂4を詰めて遮熱コーティングを施した尾筒1の外壁1bに、シリコーン樹脂7を塗布する。そして、樹脂4を燃焼や分解して取り除くために大気炉で尾筒1を加熱する。すると、シリコーン樹脂7の一部は分解したり蒸発したりするが、一部は外壁1bに残留して外壁1bを保護する。そして、このようにシリコーン樹脂7によって外壁1bを保護することで、外壁1bの酸化や酸化による色ムラが低減される。したがって、尾筒1における灰化処理後に尾筒1の外観を良好なものにするために要する時間を大幅に短縮することができる。尚、本発明の熱処理方法は尾筒1における灰化処理だけに限らず、熱処理を必要とする製品全般に適用することができる。
