Abstract

This present invention allows self monitoring and repair for data stored in disparate locations on a distributed network. This is a function that ensures the integrity of data and saving either the whole data element or small parts of the data element, multiple times, in such a way as to allow for the intelligent monitoring of the validity status of the data element itself or preferably of its similar parts amongst themselves. These parts then have the ability to replicate and relocate themselves as required by algorithms calculating rank availability and geographic location to maintain their existence and make certain guarantees on their validity and constant availability.
