Abstract
The invention relates to a textile substrate for making a tufted product such as an artificial lawn or a carpet. It comprises at least one woven or non-woven ply (101). Technical threads (102, 103) extend along one or two directions and are connected to said ply (101) so as to reinforce it by knitting on a warp stitch loom, wherein said technical threads extend on one hand along the warp direction (102) and on the other hand along the weft direction (103) on a portion or on the total width of said ply (101).
