Abstract

A bulk material flow regulator (10) configured to regulate material flow from a transport vehicle (12) includes a frame (300) bounded by a perimeter (302). The perimeter (302) can include a material transport space (90) disposed in a bottom volume of the frame (300), a material storage space (50) disposed in a top volume of the frame, and a material flow regulation space (60) disposed between the material transport space (90) and the material storage space (50). A transport unloading platform (30) can be coupled to the frame (300) for supporting a transport vehicle (12) with a material hopper. A plurality of baffles (200) can be disposed within the material flow regulation space (60). The baffles (200) can be configured to allow horizontal material movement within the material transport space (90) while impeding horizontal material movement in the material storage space (50).
