Abstract

L'invention relève de la métallurgie, et se rapporte précisément à la production d'alliages à base d'aluminium destinés à fabriquer des objets estampés, en particulier des disques de roues d'automobiles estampés. Un alliage selon l'invention contient les éléments suivants : de 0,8 à 2,2 % poids de cuivre, de 1,2 à 2,6 % poids de magnésium, de 0,2 à 0,6 de manganèse, au maximum 0,25 % poids de fer, au maximum 0,20 % poids de silicium, de 5,0 à 6,8 % poids de zinc, au maximum 0,1 % poids de titane, de 0,08 à 0,17 % poids de chrome, de 0,01 à 0,12 de zirconium, de 0,0008 à 0,005 de bore, (0,3-4,1)10 -5 % poids d'hydrogène, le reste étant composé d'aluminium; étant entendu que Ti+Zr+Cr≤0,25 % et que Cu+Mg+Zn≤8,6 %. La présente invention permet de produire un alliage combinant solidité et plasticité de manière optimale, ce qui confère à des disques de roues d'automobiles ainsi obtenus les caractéristiques requises en matière d'efficacité, réduit le poids de tels disques tout en assurant une usinabilité satisfaisante lors du matriçage, en particulier d'articles de forme complexe.
