Abstract

L'invention concerne un pigment d'oxyde de titane enduit, présentant simultanément une bonne opacité et une bonne rétention et destiné à être utilisé dans du papier de décoration, ainsi qu'un procédé de production associé. Le pigment se caractérise par un revêtement superficiel contenant du phosphate d'oxyde d'aluminium et des corps creux fixés par addition. Le procédé de production est caractérisé en ce qu'un composant aluminium et un composant phosphore sont d'abord mis dans une suspension de TiO2, le pH ne descendant pas au-dessous de 10. Puis, les corps creux sont ajoutés, avant l'addition d'au moins un composant acide, qui fait descendre le pH de la suspension dans une plage de 4 à 9. Dans un autre mode de réalisation, la suspension a un pH inférieur à 4 lors de l'addition des composants aluminium et phosphore.
